01/03/2025: March 1st is my birthday (57, alas), to celebrate we decided to celebrate with my husband at A Tartana, an unforgettable experience. The name A Tartana is absolutely wrong, it should be called LA DIVINA FARINATA - All of Italy is enclosed in this dish - colour, flavour, crunchiness and sweetness. A GOODNESS!!!!!

07/02/2025: Simple environment, simple service too but it's perfect as it is, delicious farinata and the rest is excellent too
We were in this small place in the Christmas holidays of 2024 and I must say that when I returned to Turin, I can't find anywhere such good farinata, crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside.

28/03/2025: I organised a birthday lunch for my darling with our best friends in this excellent restaurant half-hidden in the country. It was our second visit and I am sure there will be more to come. It is sensational for the location, the atmosphere, the tranquillity, the cuisine, the wines, the welcome and the source of its uniqueness: the truffles. These precious tubers are grown in their fields, as are all other vegetable products. Additionally, all that arrives on the table is exclusive in terms of quality.
The menu is based on truffles, of course, but if you aren't a fan truffles can be omitted from your plate. One of our friends said she disliked even the thought of their aroma. Well, she ate truffles in more than one course and at the end of the meal she confessed that she had loved them. The secret is the ability of Ugo Vairo, the chef, to transform every ingredient in something unforgettably pleasant to the palate, something nobody else could do. He is a culinary magician. He is perfectly matched by Silvana who describes every single dish as a work of art and creates a familiar atmosphere with her warmth.
Even if you are not keen on truffles, I recommend you try this restaurant. Mind you, the bill matches the quality, so expect it to be adequate to your enjoyment. You will not regret the experience.

01/03/2025: We discovered this little Italian restaurant run by a lovely couple, and what a lovely surprise! The welcome there is simply incredible: warm, attentive and sincere. We immediately feel at home.
The owners are exceptionally kind and very helpful, ready to share the history of their dishes and give advice with a smile. The food, for its part, is a real treat. Authentic flavors, fresh ingredients and generous portions — everything you expect from a true Italian trattoria.
And what about the prices? They are more than reasonable for the quality offered. Excellent value for money that makes you want to come back again and again.
In summary, if you are looking for an authentic Italian experience, far from impersonal chains, this little restaurant is a gem not to be missed. Grazie mille

Sore and meaningless point even if it is a 5 star hotel and a mini bar. A small bottled Coke €17.

31/03/2025: The Royal Hotel is one of those establishments that we particularly like. A perfect welcome, ideal service, great amenities make our stay a wonderful moment of relaxation.
The room is large and well organized (the only downside is the non-existent soundproofing between the rooms at the connecting doors, that's a shame).
The hotel is very beautiful, the service is admirable, the SPA staff are extremely friendly.
The breakfast is rich, the room is splendid.
The location is central and great for exploring the city and... Parking is free outdoors!
Everything is really great. We had an excellent stay! And thank you for all the little touches!

04/04/2025: A place that, in its simplicity, still offers dishes that characterize it positively. Pizza, for example, differs from common pizzas in that it is cooked in a pan. The environment is clean and bright, the staff friendly and welcoming. Prices are considered adequate for the quality of the dishes and in any case not high. Definitely recommended!

15/04/2025: Non andateci se siete turisti. Siamo entrati perché in bellavista c’era un cartello con scritto menu dell operaio ma una volta dentro c’è stato detto che solo chi aveva partita iva poteva avere il menù - muratori - Ormai eravamo lì e abbiamo deciso di pranzare.
Come nella maggior parte dei ristoranti liguri - per fortuna non tutti - se sei un turista hai un servizio diverso dei clienti locali dico così perché più volte, nonché oggi,quando vieni servito noti delle diversità sia qualitative che quantitative del cibo che ti viene portato.
Io da sei anni vivo in Liguria ma il mio accento mi fa considerare sempre una turista quando vado in un ristorante se vado con amici liguri tutto bene se vado da sola ……
Abbiamo preso un antipasto il brandacujun, più patate che pesce, i spaghetti allo scoglio sembravano riscaldati e probabilmente lo erano visto che hai nostri vicini di tavolo e arrivata tutt’altra roba.
Mi spiace dirlo ma certi atteggiamenti rovinano la categoria dei ristoratori .
06/04/2025: Excellent cuisine with fresh products and very kind staff. We went there twice during our stay in Porto-Maurizio. We had the warm seafood salad which was very tasty and the mixed grill was very good. They also prepared us a delicious, sweet sgroppino that didn't exist on the menu but which we asked for.

17/03/2025: Da Novembre a maggio quando non e ancora nel pieno la stagione turistoca, al venerdi sera ed al sabato sera generalmente propongono dei menu a tema. Ci siamo stati sia per in menu a tema siciliano che a tema vegetariano. Ottimi piatti, servizio impeccabile ed una proposta, pur essendo un osteria, con piatti gourmet ricchi di gusto e fantasia. consigliatissima.

01/04/2025: I should start by saying that I was born and have lived in Sanremo for 50 years.
I have recently moved to the Foce neighborhood, so I pass by this place twice a day.
I suggest to a friend that we stop to eat at this place (I had never been there).
We arrive and there are 2 tables occupied.
I ask to eat outside in the outdoor area and a guy in his forties (with an annoyed look) shows me where to sit.
First the tablecloth is brought (the outside tables are not set) then a blonde lady arrives and "throws" the napkins with the menus on the table (my friend wanted to get up and leave), then the cutlery arrives, then the breadsticks arrive.
The guy who made us sit down, always with the calmness of a sloth, asks us what we want to eat.
I ask if it is possible to have a margherita pizza with the addition of fresh artichokes (since it is in season) and a fried fish and I ask if they serve beer in a mug (it is not mentioned on the menu)
The request is granted (quite an effort)
The 2 beers arrive
After a while 2 pizzas arrive and I say that 1 pizza and 1 fried food was ordered.
The boy/owner returns to the table and claims to have understood 2 pizzas and I say that he misunderstood.
Macabre surprise, the pizza was cooked in the oven with the artichokes and not put on the pizza at the end of cooking 🤐
The fried food also arrives, practically rubbery!
After about 35 minutes I ask for the bill which is brought to my table €42 total
We get up and leave saying goodbye and thanking (no reply)
Being in the profession and having attended a hotel school, where the rules of service are the basis of catering, I do not recommend the place.
31/03/2025: The food was real typical italian and nice, really tast, but some reason the crew was having maybe a bad day and thez couldnt welcome us in a warm way
