01/03/2025: March 1st is my birthday (57, alas), to celebrate we decided to celebrate with my husband at A Tartana, an unforgettable experience. The name A Tartana is absolutely wrong, it should be called LA DIVINA FARINATA - All of Italy is enclosed in this dish - colour, flavour, crunchiness and sweetness. A GOODNESS!!!!! 05/07/2025: Total disappointment, I do not recommend it. We went to this restaurant driven by the positive reviews, but unfortunately our experience was far from satisfactory. We had to wait a long time to order, even though the place was half empty. The dishes arrived after over 40 minutes of waiting, really excessive. The prices are very high for what is offered. I ordered a mixed fried food (which was only calamari) for 20 euros: too bad it was almost all batter and very little fish. My husband had ordered both the first and second course, but after a very long wait for the second course we gave up and asked to cancel it. You can't wait that long, especially when the restaurant is not even full. Plus they added one euro to the price of the side dish on the receipt... so without explanation, on the menu it said 6 euros and at the till they charged 7. Truly a big disappointment. We definitely won't be back.

29/07/2025: Pizzeria-restaurant 10 meters from the sea with parking. Reservations are recommended, as there are two dinner sittings. Thin, crispy pizza, decent cutlet, and a very tasty salad. Service is good.

21/07/2025: I must say we had a truly wonderful experience at Ristorante Garibaldi. We ate in the small outdoor piazza, nestled between the houses of the village of Bordighera Alta: a charming and peaceful setting, perfect for a pleasant evening. The welcome was truly warm and friendly, with attentive and attentive service from the staff, always available without being intrusive. We ordered fried fish, perfectly soft and crispy, a truly delicious fish couscous, a rich and flavorful mackerel prepared according to tradition, and a simple but well-executed pasta with clams. The portions were definitely satisfying, and the price seemed fair for the quality and location. A place we recommend, especially for those who love Ligurian flavors and the authentic atmosphere of the old town.

08/05/2025: Antico forno vicino al Portovecchio di Sanremo, abbiamo provato i due tipi do focaccia, bassa e piu alta, oltre alla sardinara. Molto buona la sardinara e la focaccia bassa, quella alta meno buona. Molto saporito e ben cotto il pane, con lo stesso impasto della focaccia bassa.

18/08/2025: I'm celiac and always (and everywhere) have trouble finding a place where the aperitif is accompanied by a platter of GLUTEN-FREE products and appetizers. However, at Nelson Cafè this IS POSSIBLE! After I reported my celiac disease, the woman taking the order and the owner IMMEDIATELY MADE THEM AVAILABLE to accommodate my food intolerance. In a rather QUICK time, I was served the requested aperitif accompanied by a splendid and delicious platter of savory snacks, delicious rice cakes with various fillings and other simple but tasty treats. A sincere thank you to all the staff at Nelson Cafè in Diano Marina for the prompt service, for their courtesy, and above all FOR THE PROFESSIONAL ATTITUDE with which they treated me—an example to be followed! RESTAURATEURS: Remember that for a celiac, avoiding certain foods and (politely) requesting other substitutes IS NOT A PERSONAL QUIZZ, nor is it a way to put you in trouble. For a celiac, IT IS A NECESSITY, because the most important thing is at stake: their health! So, when we tell you about our food intolerance, please don't turn up your nose, but react professionally and creatively like the NELSON CAFÉ staff!!!

31/07/2025: We stumbled upon this place by chance, and I have to say it was a great experience! The restaurant offers lunch options à la carte or a fixed-price menu featuring daily specials. We were pleasantly surprised. The cheese lasagna was delicious, and the pasta dishes in general tasted homemade. The meat-based main courses, in my opinion, were the best part. You could taste the quality and authentic flavor of traditional, home-cooked cuisine. The desserts were also delicious and homemade. The staff were friendly, helpful, and approachable! Good value for money, especially considering the generous portions. Also, although we didn't have room for dessert, but had already included it in the fixed-price menu, the waitress recommended we take away a slice of apricot tart.

22/07/2025: Excellent food, professional and very friendly service, they make you feel at home. The chef is truly talented, and you can see the passion in his dishes. For those who enjoy good home cooking, this is a must-visit.

We've been going to this restaurant for 15 years, and in my opinion, there's no other restaurant/pizzeria that compares to it, both in terms of quality and price. We come from Brescia and spend almost as much here at Ventanargo. The permanent and very professional staff, as well as the occasional staff on busy evenings, do a decent job, but I can never, ever, say in 15 YEARS that I've experienced any poor service or rudeness. It's well known that customers are never satisfied; they want to be served immediately, and they don't realize that on some very busy evenings, there are longer waits than usual. But as for me, I prefer to wait up to an hour for service if necessary, but I wouldn't change places in Arma or the surrounding area if I want quality and value. Leo from Brescia.

29/07/2025: We went to dinner a few nights ago, reserving a table for the first shift. As soon as we were seated, the annoyed waitress started telling us there was an hour wait for pizzas! We asked why, and she replied that the place was full (??). If a pizzeria can't serve all its customers, perhaps they should reduce the number of tables or avoid doing takeout, giving priority to customers seated at tables! We've never had anything like this happen to us! Furthermore, one of the pizzas that arrived after an hour was burnt, but given the time we had, we didn't dare ask for a remake. Terrible experience!
