10/09/2025: located just a few minutes from the city center, offers a pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff, and pizzas that break away from tradition. 😅 The toppings are original, and the dough is light and crisp. Sure, a pizza here can cost €13 to €14, which is about three times the price of a classic Margherita in Turin (often €4/5), but you're paying for creativity, quality ingredients, and comfort: air-conditioned dining, attentive service, and bold recipes. 👍

24/02/2026: It's a lovely restaurant, on a quiet little square away from the tourist crowds. There's very little foot traffic. A great find; we go back every time we're in San Remo. The food is good (especially the trofie al pesto!) and the waiter is very friendly. 🤍

Now, a new addition is an outdoor area overlooking the bike path with dedicated service. Musical evenings will be held. Parking is available in the adjacent church square, Piazza dei Giuseppini.

A simple, relaxed evening, but one that was truly special thanks to the hospitality, the service, and above all, the food we were served. We ordered two truly extraordinary Cappon Magro. As a Ligurian by birth, I can honestly say that at El Billi, you can enjoy one of the best Cappon Magro on the Western Riviera. I have known Billie for more than ten years, and one thing has never changed: his smile, his passion, and his genuine hospitality. Every visit feels like coming home. Whether it's a perfectly baked pizza, Spaghetti Frutti di Mare, tender octopus, or a beautifully grilled seafood platter, the kitchen delivers outstanding quality every single time. What impresses me just as much is the atmosphere behind the scenes. Billie treats his team with respect, and you can feel it immediately. The staff are engaged, motivated, attentive, and proud of what they do. Great leadership always reaches the customer. El Billie has never disappointed me—except on the rare occasion when I arrived and found the door closed. One recommendation: reserve your table in the evening. 02/05/2026: We had high expectations due to the good reviews, but unfortunately, our experience was truly disappointing. The atmosphere was uncomfortable right from the start. Furthermore, things went wrong with the drinks right from the beginning: I ordered an iced lemon tea but received a peach iced tea without a word. Because it seemed busy, I decided to leave it, but it is still sloppy. The menu was very limited. I really wanted tagliatelle with pesto, but the staff advised against it and steered me towards the gnocchi. Ultimately, this turned out to be a completely bad choice, as it simply wasn't tasty. What made it even more frustrating was the service. After the meal, we waited at least fifteen minutes for the bill, while the staff walked past us several times without doing anything. Eventually, we just walked inside to pay ourselves. Once inside, it turned out there was a lack of communication, and the bill was subsequently taken back to the terrace. The only positive point was that they made an effort to arrange a table for us outside, even though it was actually full. All in all, not a pleasant experience and certainly not what you expect based on the reviews.

18/07/2026: Excellent! Located on the seashore, the restaurant serves fine dishes, carefully prepared, with a divine taste. The waves of the sea complete the perfect landscape! I recommend with all confidence!

08/08/2026: A welcoming place where reservations aren't possible, but it's very spacious, and the wait for a table is acceptable. This is perhaps its weakness: the very attentive (but very kind) waiters make you feel more like you're just passing through than at home, for example, clearing away plates from diners who have finished their courses while others are still eating, as if desperately trying to minimize downtime. Fortunately, their politeness and friendliness, and the good food (we only had pizza, but it was excellent and very digestible), make up for this flaw.

Silvia's warm welcome and the presentation of the dishes make Sunday lunch a truly enjoyable experience. The restaurant is truly beautiful and distinctive, with vaulted ceilings and stone walls.
