20/08/2024: Location meravigliosa, come del resto la cena. Pesce freschissimo, piatti curati nei minimi dettagli. Titolare e personale di sala super gentili. Esperienza da ripetere!

02/08/2024: Siamo stati in questo ristorante per il pranzo di Pasquetta. Anche se fuori era nuvoloso e non si vedeva la vista panoramica, ci siamo trovati più che bene. Qua ho mangiato la tartare di tonno più buona in assoluto. Complimenti allo chef ed a tutto lo staff. Tutti sono stati molto gentili, servizio e qualità di altissimo livello. Complimenti! Ci ritorneremo sicuramente!

02/09/2025: Good prices, good food, and since I couldn't speak Italian, I got to practice my Chinese with the (very friendly) owner!

17/05/2025: Cappuccino like grandma's latte, but colder, empty croissant, total €4.50 I only ordered it to while away the time waiting for a delayed flight. The counter staff were distracted and sullen (typical Ligurian hospitality). I wonder why these companies have to charge such exorbitant prices just because you can't go out and find a place with better quality food at a reasonable price.

19/10/2025: NOT CLOSED (October 25). Alba is a person from another era, with a simplicity, practicality, and generosity that touch the heart. Together with her sister (a century and a half between them), she runs a grocery store and trattoria that keeps alive the hospitality of a village that's not easy to live in. If you want to enjoy her authentic, homely cuisine (the ravioli and tagliolini we sampled deserve top marks), book a few days in advance so she can do the shopping and welcome you without fear of feeling like she's not welcome. I called her on Sunday morning for lunch, and she explained to me that she had nothing but a few ravioli and potatoes at short notice, but she made herself available anyway so we wouldn't miss our trip. She welcomed my father, my son, and me with a spirit that I could describe as touching, and with dishes (the one she had for herself and her sister) that took us back to the flavors of that great cook that was my grandmother. We'll be back with the rest of the tribe!
