19/07/2025: On June 24, 2025, I ordered delivery for a birthday. I had to throw away half the food: Steamed meat dumplings gone bad, black inside, rancid shrimp and meat dumplings, brown and spoiled spring rolls, rice with shrimp but NO SHRIMP. Things should be checked before cooking; we could have gotten sick from eating those dumplings. They're old frozen items, check them! I'll never order from there again.

11/11/2025: Sunday lunch. It's impossible not to mention the breathtaking panoramic view of the inlets below. Otherwise, nothing quite as memorable. Unremarkable appetizers, overcooked tagliolini, completely tasteless ravioli with walnut sauce, ravioli with ragù, Italian-style fried food that was questionable, and tagliata (good), but not enough for four people, not the ten of us. Everything was served by just one person in a room with at least 60 guests. The price was decidedly excessive (€40), and payment was strictly in cash because there was no POS.

20/09/2025: We had a wonderful dinner. Mauro was a wonderful person and extremely available to satisfy every guest's request. The food was excellent and the location was fantastic. Recommended

29/11/2025: I'll be brief. I didn't finish my stay at the restaurant because, in addition to the hygienic conditions of the store (I would have opted for a cleaner bench in the station), I was treated poorly by the manager who, stationed at the cash register (who was embarrassingly slow for a train station with customers with limited time), complained that I wasn't perfectly lined up in line and then, despite the receipt clearly showing my arrival number, let others go ahead of me. Fortunately, since I hadn't yet paid (the kiosk didn't accept cards), I was able to leave. 26/11/2025: On November 26th, aka today, I came to redeem the Grinch offer you've been so heavily promoting, with a trip out—I repeat, the 26th—sponsored everywhere. The kiosk wouldn't accept it, so I went to the cashier, where LUANA HOSPITALITY rudely responded to my request to check if there was anything they could do at the cashier, saying, "It's too complicated at the cashier." Either she didn't want to, or she wasn't capable. In the end, she left two customers unsatisfied, leaving them there with a "Well, if it doesn't come out the next day, I don't know." This is the kind of staff you're trying to raise to the next level!

30/07/2025: CoverCharge to sit down not even mentioned? Hidden charges....This is a RipOff bad example of a place to visit. Go elsewhere as we had to $5 glasses of wine which is all we wanted and made us buy Caprese. Over $100 Euro. Charged $12 cover charge per person & a 10% tip on the cover charge, LOL, plus other fees. We basically paid $100 Euro for two glasses of wine & bread. Bad experience for Portofino

04/10/2025: Usually, not bad. However, if you write "baked pasta" on the menu, I expect to eat traditional baked pasta, not baked pasta with lentils, tomato, and mozzarella. That's incorrect. You should always specify the ingredients; you should know that! Between intolerances and allergies, the risk is high.

10/08/2025: Expensive, crowded, chaotic, and lacking service. Long wait to order, limited selection of pizza by the slice, and poor quality. The pizza wasn't even served on a tray, but with a piece of paper in hand. No napkin.

17/09/2025: There's no criteria. Anyone can pass you by. I was in a hurry to catch the train, and they kept serving randomly from the sides even though there was clearly a queue!

25/08/2025: I was so angry when they think that we are tourists and charged more price. I saw the price on the menu for 2€ and then they changed more because they think my husband are tourists….

15/10/2025: Excellent bakery in Albaro, well-stocked, from sweet pastries to all types of focaccia and pizza. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent food and value for money.

29/10/2025: We went in and asked if it was possible to make some pasta for our 2-year-old son... And they told us they didn't have any, but since we were traveling, we had everything we needed. The waitress immediately said it was no problem. We ordered 1 gnocco with pesto 1 gnocco with meat sauce 1 potato chip 1 sliced ​​arugula and shavings 1 bottle of still water 1 portion of Grana Padano shavings for the little one. The gnocchi arrive, everything is ok... Good, not excellent, but good... The tagliata arrives. I was expecting a fairly large slice of meat, being a tagliata, instead I received a thin slice of meat, about 100g, only with a little rocket and without flakes because I had asked for it because I am intolerant... The portion of flakes, about 100g, could be seen in the bowl for the little one... Anyway, at the end, without a high chair, the little one sat in his mother's arms. I put the pasta and baby food obviously.... The tagliata I asked for without flakes of cheese but it wasn't a tagliata but a slice for a veal cutlet... We paid 21 euros for the tagliata and 4 euros for the flakes and 2 euros for the cover charge for the child. The service was good thanks to the good manners of the waitress, even if the "owner" was rude to say the least (only for having responded to the waitress who had told him that we had ordered two flakes for the child.... And the pay is a portion of cheese) anyway I would have paid even just to have cooked my son's pasta... In conclusion I give 3 stars for the food 5 stars for the waitress's service because she was kind with her manners... 1 star environment to be taken care of and cleaned especially in the attention to the tables and bathrooms...

23/10/2025: The staff is friendly, the food is good but the meat isn't excellent. Otherwise it's not too expensive.

28/10/2025: wonderful views, right in the heart of the harbour, with suitably strong aperol spritz! be warned, if you are budgeting this place may not be for you, but if you can afford it, this is a wonderful way to enjoy portofino!

11/11/2025: We walked in at around 6:00 PM on a Saturday and asked for tonic water and hot tea. When we ordered, which was perhaps a small order compared to an aperitif, the manager was clearly annoyed; there were no other words. When he brought our drinks, no one looked at us, no one said anything to our "thank yous." The same was true when it came to paying. The place was almost empty. Three customers at the bar and a couple outside. Speechless.

28/10/2025: 1 beer for €5, I think I was scammed because I was a tourist, which says a lot about the service... I won't go back and I don't recommend the place.

23/09/2025: Terrible place!! I went in to politely ask to use the bathroom, they told me that a drink was mandatory, so I got a glass of water. As soon as I left, I wanted to use the hand dryer and noticed that it worked, but there was no paper. I reported this, and not only was my card denied, but I was also rudely told off, accusing me of spending so little, with rather ridiculous excuses! Stay away from these stingy and dishonest people!

30/07/2025: Super nice, she agreed to let us have dinner when the kitchen closed and even offered us a dessert sold in the window, the waitress is really very very nice, I highly recommend her 👍👍👍👍👍

22/11/2025: We were disappointed by the poor quality of the food, which was also scarce and expensive.

20/09/2025: Food is limited, prices are high. If there are bands playing and you come in after dinner, they'll charge a mandatory €10 drink, as if it were some sort of disguised entrance fee, even if you're only staying for half an hour. Not recommended.

15/08/2025: I've always had a good experience there. The staff is friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is beautiful, as are the Bialetti collections, cups, and tableware with charming and unique designs. The coffee they sell is decent. Less memorable is the quality of some of their non-core products, which are clearly rebranded and low-quality. One suspects they cost so little to produce that they make a significant profit on the retail price, but I'd recommend removing them from the assortment.

28/09/2025: This was the worst dining experience I've ever had. It was an unparalleled disgrace. We ordered food, but one of the two orders was forgotten. When we asked, a plastic container of ready-made pasta was put into the microwave. €15 for this is unbelievable. The place should be shut down.

09/09/2025: A terrible mess. To say "price doesn't match the quality" is like saying nothing at all. The pizza was reheated in the microwave, hot on the edges, and served cold inside. The waiters don't speak English very well. When I asked for the pizza to be reheated, the lady got offended. The ham and pesto toast—the cheese was melted, the ham was cold inside, also tasteless. "I don't recommend it" is an understatement. It's a money-making machine with no quality whatsoever. It's better to go hungry.

05/11/2025: It’s 2:14pm. They only had a hand full of pastries. Nothing like the pictures posted here. The cashier didn’t even greet. Only said “dime”.
