10/08/2025: A beautiful place, but unfortunately, given the "standing" it aims to maintain, it falls short in some respects, specifically in the following areas: - Tables in the gazebos with rust spots - Side curtains on the gazebo partially missing. - Dirty/stained sun lounger mattress (we asked for it to be replaced, and it was promptly replaced with apologies for the inconvenience). - Bathroom hygiene needs updating (lack of toilet paper in the women's bathroom and cleanliness needs improving). In my opinion, the price paid doesn't match what's offered. Considering that the price for 5 hours (from 2 pm to 7 pm) is €137, I would have expected greater quality and attention to service. It wouldn't take much, especially considering the number of gazebos (28), to make this beach truly the "gem" and most exclusive beach in Santa Margherita, as advertised. I'd also like to point out that we purchased a thermal water bottle. It's very nice looking, with the bathroom logo on it, but it doesn't keep the water cold at all, even though it was guaranteed to work properly at the time of purchase. (Please avoid making any comments without first having verified your claims, to avoid disappointment.) Regarding the restaurant, since we didn't eat there, I can't express any opinion, but having read the dishes offered and given the location, I feel compelled to give a positive assessment. Another positive note was the receptionist, who demonstrated courtesy and professionalism. P.S.: I've changed my rating from 3 to 1 star because I'd like to point out that after just 7 days, the thermal water bottle has rust spots on both the cap and the inside (as shown in the photo). This is absurd; it's unsafe to use, as you risk drinking rust. Any feedback is appreciated.

01/08/2025: This year, like last year, we chose this beach resort for its proximity to home and the gazebos, but we discovered at the start of the season that the management had changed. We immediately had problems with bookings: we therefore decided to start with a week, from Monday, June 30th to Sunday, and this already created problems because the weekly stay, for which we had been asked to pay €1,250 in advance, could not be made due to the different rates between the months of June and July. Therefore, we immediately paid €1,400 for the Monday of June and the week from Tuesday to the following Monday (July). Unfortunately, due to force majeure (bad weather), we lost three days of the booked period, so my husband asked the manager if we could make up the days on other days. He was told that we could only make up two, and although we didn't fully agree, we accepted (at €200 per day). When we rebooked for the two-day make-up session, we were told we were only booking one day, not two. At that point, we replied that we wouldn't be willing to negotiate like in a Marrakech souk, and that in a €200-a-day establishment, customers deserve a service that's proportionate and worthy of the price they pay. Bottom line: three paid days wasted and service subpar due to incompetence and a lack of professionalism, but above all, lost customers.

08/06/2025: Definitely one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten. The marinara 2.0 is spectacular! They need to improve the environment a bit, a bit bare and speed up the service. Absolutely to go, but in a relaxed way. As for parking... well a bit complicated.

12/07/2025: Tenía muchas ganas de comer en este lugar durante nuestra visita a Santa Margherita porque parecía súper lindo y el menú sonaba apetitoso. Revisé su horario tan temprano en el día para asegurarme de que llegaríamos a tiempo para la cena. Cuando llegamos pedí una mesa para dos en mi mejor Italiano. Una mujer de pelo corto nos ofreció una pequeña mesa en la parte trasera del restaurante, justo al lado de la ruidosa cocina, pero respetuosamente la rechacé y esperé unos minutos para ver si se liberaba otra mesa. Cuando una pareja se levantó y se fue, pregunté si podíamos tener esa mesa, en Italiano, e hice una señal por si acaso mi pronunciación no era clara. Las mujeres me dijeron: “no, estamos llenos”. Le reiteré que acababan de irse y que una mesa estaba vacía, y la mujer me gritó en Italiano “¡Estamos llenos!”, nos ahuyentó y me dio la espalda. Nunca he sido tan profundamente irrespetado por alguien en el sector de servicios, nunca ni en ningún país. Terminamos yendo al restaurante de fusión Japonés al otro lado de la calle, que era delicioso, asequible y tenía un excelente servicio al cliente. Te recomiendo ir allí en su lugar.

29/06/2025: Leckeres Essen in einem authentischen kleinen Restaurant, sehr freundlicher Service. Pasta wie wir sie uns wünschen, als ob die italienische Mamma am Herd steht. Tolles FRITTO MISTO!!! Sehr zu empfehlen!!

30/07/2025: Cena di lavoro in 20 persone. Atmosfera accogliente, ottimo il servizio. Materie prime di altissima qualità sapientemente elaborate dallo chef. Cucina di livello top in centro città. Qui la buona cucina e l'attenzione al cliente si intrecciano per la soddisfazione del cliente. Senza dubbio esperienza da ripetere anche a cena. Consigliatissimo. Marco

12/07/2025: Locale piccolo, tavoli ravvicinati, servizio lentissimo … 30 minuti di attesa per portata ! Piatti senza infamia e senza lode , ove si cerca di stupire con descrizioni altisonanti ma il risultato è molto discutibile. Assolutamente da non riprovare

14/06/2025: Abbiamo notato il titolare fare del sarcasmo letteralmente alle spalle di un cliente che indugiava davanti al frigo dei gelati. Una scena come questa non solo si scontra con le tante foto autocelebrative sulla parete ma fa davvero dubitare sul rispetto che si dovrebbe avere nei confronti del cliente. Per il resto abbiamo ordinato delle focacce che non hanno incontrato il nostro gusto. Lo consiglio a chi ricerca un locale con tavoli ed aria condizionata vicino l'università.

09/06/2025: Disfrutamos de un almuerzo casual en un par de ocasiones en HB Café, tanto como era conveniente para nuestro hotel, el personal era muy amable y lo más importante, la comida era buena. A la llegada nos sentaron rápidamente y nos dieron menús. Había un montón de platos para elegir, pero seleccionamos una sabrosa pizza de anchoa para tener con nuestro Campari Spritz. Había una opción de sentarse dentro o fuera de la calle - lado; nos sentamos fuera para ver el "desfile de paso". Los precios eran razonables.

22/07/2025: Per me la parte migliore del cappuccino è la schiuma: mi piace alta almeno due dita e compatta, quasi solida. Visto che ci sono svariate filosofie al riguardo chiedo sempre il cappuccino con tanta schiuma ma sono pochi i posti dove le mie aspettative sono soddisfatte: uno di questi è il San Marco. I ragazzi al bar sono maestri nell’arte del cappuccino e spesso raggiungono livelli di eccellenza con la schiuma che sembra quasi panna. Se aggiungiamo la qualità delle brioches, per lo più artigianali, il risultato è una prima colazione a prova di golosi.

09/07/2025: Qualità assoluta. Al pari della simpatia. Altro che sosta in Autogrill. Tappa obbligata se passate da queste parti. Al San Marco la “torta di riso” non è mai finita.

23/06/2025: Antica trattoria con tavolini all'aperto e vista porticciolo. Anche in questo caso con la qualità del cibo abbiamo fatto bingo. Personale giovane ma gentilissimo. Prezzi medio alti ma ne vale la pena.
