10/10/2025: La Casina never disappoints with its endless selection of rustic Roman appetizers and, on weekends, even fish. Eating at Nunzio is always a guarantee.

28/09/2025: We went for dinner on a Saturday evening, and reservations are recommended. The fish appetizer was delicious, as was the stew. The price was very reasonable for what we ate, and the owner's friendliness was truly appreciated. We'll definitely be back.

08/07/2025: We chose Vecchio Borgo for our wedding and it was the perfect choice. The organization was impeccable: every detail was taken care of with precision. A special thanks goes to Gloria, Sonya, Eleonora and Giorgia, who with their professionalism, patience and availability made everything perfect, accompanying us with kindness, attention and the right irony in every phase of the event. The staff was extraordinary, welcoming and always smiling. A special thanks also to the maître, always present and attentive, capable of coordinating everything with elegance and discretion. The food was simply exceptional, from the aperitif to the dessert: everything prepared with quality ingredients and presented impeccably. Finally, the beauty of the place is truly breathtaking. A dream setting that made our day even more special and unforgettable. Recommended for those who want to experience a fairytale wedding, with the certainty of being in expert and passionate hands.

25/06/2025: Breathtaking place. Perhaps the most beautiful (reception) venue I have ever seen. Exceptional staff, truly. Courtesy and competence at high levels. The aperitif and the appetizer from another planet. Honestly, the lunch (especially the fillet Wellington) was minimally up to par. The only flaw. For the rest, as they say, at the Top. Well done.

12/09/2025: Terrible experience, I'm sorry. The wait times were biblical, to say the least. We arrived at 8:20 PM, and at 9:45 PM they had only served us two appetizers... during this time, the pizzas arrived. They looked like piadina dough, burnt on the sides and completely black underneath, dry edges and no toppings, and the toppings were all in the center, making the pizza completely soft and wet. It's inconceivable that you had to wait almost two hours to eat two pizzas and two suppli. Please, give them a wide berth.

12/09/2025: Quality is declining, rudeness is rising! I commend the very young waitress who caused the restaurant to lose four customers last night (+2 from the next table who stood up and said "never again!")! It used to be a good restaurant...now avoid it.

09/08/2025: Rustic atmosphere, reminiscent of an old-fashioned trattoria, the likes of which are unfortunately rare these days. A wide variety of Roman and Lazio cuisine is served, enhanced with exquisite ingredients like porcini mushrooms and truffles. Outdoor seating is available in the summer on Grottaferrata's main street. Affordable prices; reservations recommended.

07/09/2025: First of all, I want to say a word against those who give one star for the most abstract and fanciful reasons... stay home. I ate at this restaurant a year ago and forgot to review it. I think the food is excellent... the location is very nice, and the service is impeccable. I have a complaint about the price, though, because I find it a bit high, but that's normal here in Grottaferrata.

28/09/2025: This restaurant was recommended to me for seafood in the Castelli Romani. The location is elegant, with old-school touches blending with innovation, making everything so evocative and full of emotion. The food is excellent, if not perfect; the fish is good quality, and the appetizers are plentiful. Not to mention the service; we didn't even look at the menu because the waiter's skill and professionalism played their part, accompanying us throughout the meal! The bill was more than fair for what we ate and the quality; in fact, I would have expected a little more. All in all, I'd say it was a top-notch lunch. Congratulations!

30/09/2025: A rustic, village-style kiosk, just what you'd expect when visiting castles. Excellent porchetta, used to make generously filled sandwiches. Wide selection of local produce. EXCELLENT!!

29/09/2025: Excellent porchetta, tasty sandwiches, and quality products. Prices are average (about €6 per sandwich), but they're not displayed. Outdoor tables on the sidewalk are comfortable but often poorly maintained: cleanliness could be improved, with pigeons and full trash cans. Ample free parking in front. A good place for porchetta lovers, but with more attention to hygiene and detail, it would be a real improvement.

21/09/2025: The food was good and the portions generous, but the restaurant was overcrowded, too crowded, and the service was basic, with the waiter doing nothing but wiping his sweat with his napkin. It's not my cup of tea.

20/09/2025: Honestly, the old glories are gone: ordinary food, small portions, and tavern-like service. The only thing that's up to par is the bill; a huge disappointment. Avoid.

19/09/2025: This is a tavern with friendly, family-run owners and a very homey outdoor setting with mismatched tables and chairs and individual paper tablecloths, but that's fine considering the excellent cuisine and the very reasonable prices compared to the average.

14/08/2025: We were a group of three friends looking for a restaurant in Grottaferrata for dinner. We considered three or four within a 100-meter radius, but none of them were entirely convincing. Finally, we found La Roncola, which had a high rating and was well-regarded by many, and we set off. Since a young woman with us had dietary restrictions, we looked for the menu at the entrance to clear up any doubts, but we couldn't find one. Tired of searching further, however, we requested a table and sat down. After a few minutes, we were asked if we'd like water, which was promptly brought to us. A few more minutes passed, and a waitress came to our table and asked if we were ready to order. We told her we weren't ready yet because no one had brought us menus, and she promptly replied that there were no menus and that she would list the dishes available for that evening: four or five appetizers, four or five first courses, three second courses, and a few side dishes. Puzzled by the lack of a menu but hungry, we considered ordering two or three appetizers to share, but were told we couldn't split the appetizer because it included all the listed courses, and that if we thought it was too much, we could order a single course at most. Puzzled by the refusal, we decided to order just one appetizer anyway (even though we would have ordered more), choosing one main course from the three available, and three side dishes. In short: one water, one appetizer (three meatballs), three strips (200g of grilled meat seasoned with oil and salt, €25 per dish), three side dishes, and one coffee cost us a whopping €100. Since the bill didn't seem fair for what we'd eaten, we pointed out that restaurants are required to display a menu, so they can give customers the option to choose whether or not to order. We were told that if we asked for the menu, we would have it. A truly irritating attitude. To top it all off, we paid part of the bill in cash, and of course, there was no receipt.

02/07/2025: Very intimate restaurant, with a menu of land and sea. We chose in 4 adults all seafood courses, while his girls took a half plate of pasta each. Very kind and helpful waitress, the friendly and present owner, very good food (including raw!!!) We will definitely be back!
