02/04/2026: I've known them for thirty years. The quality of the food and meat is excellent, coming from a good butcher shop I'm happy to use. The appetizers, fried foods, and pizzas are excellent. "Tant bon che mai," my grandmother would have said. Kind and courteous, we celebrated my parents' golden wedding anniversary there, and I also celebrated my retirement there.

26/03/2026: It's not 4.5 stars at all. The appetizer was horrible, the pizza was acceptable, but the fried food was frozen and full of oil, and they were about to close and turned off the oven while we were eating, so I couldn't order. The bread was plastic, so I had to ask for it.

The property is beautifully maintained and surrounded by a calm, natural setting that creates the perfect atmosphere for relaxation. The rooms are spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, offering both charm and modern comfort. The overall experience is quiet and refreshing, making it an ideal escape while still being conveniently located near Rome and the Castelli Romani area. The staff were extremely kind, professional, and attentive, always ensuring that guests feel welcomed and well cared for throughout their stay. I highly recommend Villa Abbamer- Country House Hotel to anyone visiting Grottaferrata. It offers excellent comfort, beautiful surroundings, and outstanding hospitality, and I would be very happy to return again.

27/03/2026: I stayed at Villa Abbamer in the Anagnina area with my father, and the experience was simply fantastic. The room was beautiful, well-maintained, and very welcoming, but what really made the difference was the incredible attention from the staff. Special thanks go to Franklin, who was extremely available to meet our every need, as was the owner, who so kindly suggested a truly fantastic place for dinner. The service was impeccable: when we asked for an extra pillow, they brought it to our room instantly, demonstrating extraordinary responsiveness. Breakfast was also exceptional; everything was delicious and carefully prepared. It's a wonderful place that I highly recommend to anyone passing through the Anagnina area. Truly FANTASTIC!

23/05/2026: We were given a table right away, and that's the only positive thing. We waited 20 minutes for water and 30 minutes for our order. The pizza arrived 40 minutes after we ordered. Unfortunately, the lack of staff had a negative impact. It's a shame... I remembered a completely different kind of place and welcome.

29/04/2026: I ate at this restaurant and was truly satisfied. I had pasta all'amatriciana and it was excellent, definitely one of the best I've ever eaten. Compliments to the kitchen and all the staff for their attention and care. Recommended.

22/12/2025: A very disappointing experience. I had lunch today with my father, who has limited mobility and uses crutches. The parking space in front of the restaurant is minimal, on a curve and on a busy road, and it was occupied by a restaurant car, making it impossible for him to get out safely. When I entered the restaurant, I asked the waiter if it was possible to use that space for parking and was told no. At that point, I commented that some "idiot" had parked where they weren't allowed, preventing access to people with limited mobility. The "owner" (as he introduced himself despite his young age) reacted aggressively and extremely pretentiously, turning an accessibility issue into a personal confrontation, without any consideration or apology. He claimed that since it was his restaurant, he could decide where to park and that the car was there for "loading and unloading goods." At the end of the meal, the vehicle was still parked in the same spot, confirming that the initial observation was not unfounded. More striking than the food, on average, is the attitude and the total lack of attention to those with mobility difficulties. A reputation that, in our opinion, no longer holds up.

19/12/2025: A very traditional Osteria in Grottaferrata. Good service, excellent food, and a historic atmosphere. Since 1547. The world was still in the Age of Discovery, and this restaurant was already selling good food!

13/06/2026: I stayed at this hotel for work. It's a welcoming property with free parking in a quiet location very close to Grottaferrata. Everything was very clean, but the walls and ceilings in the room could use a little more maintenance. The breakfast was good, with a variety of quality products. I really appreciated the kindness and professionalism of all the staff. I recommend it.

The atmosphere was relaxed, the owner who welcomed us was very friendly and professional, and the food was excellent, made with top-quality ingredients, and the prices were lower than average. We had a great time.

19/01/2026: A well-established pizzeria in the center of Grottaferrata. They prepare excellent quality pizza by the slice with a wide selection to satisfy even the most demanding palates. Their pasta dishes and rotisserie are also excellent.

18/02/2026: The coffee is excellent, and the pastries are always fresh and fragrant. Starting the day here, perhaps with a freshly filled croissant, is a ritual hard to resist. One of the highlights is undoubtedly the aperitivo. The appetizers are varied, plentiful, and high-quality, ideal for enjoying with friends after a stroll along the Corso. The staff are the real asset: always smiling, prompt, and capable of handling even the busiest times with utmost professionalism and a touch of local charm.

15/03/2026: Nice surprise! I accidentally ordered a pizza for delivery, choosing the one closest to my house. Great idea! The pizza is well-leavened and always cooked to perfection! Well done. The place isn't great for eating in, but the food is very good. Well done!!!
