29/06/2025: We just fancied something simple to take back to our hotel balcony for a chilled evening after a busy day out and all the various resturants we had tried previously. We didnt know what to expect but could not have been more pleasantly surprised. I know its only a pizza and chips but it just goes to show that simple food, sensibly priced and cooked well can beat many of the up market places if done with pride. Well done. Give it a try!

09/11/2025: A truly exceptional lunch! The products were simply excellent, a perfect balance of creativity and authentic flavor. Everything we tried was incredibly successful, with attention to detail and made with quality ingredients. Even though I'm not a fan of desserts, especially millefeuille, I was blown away: I hadn't tasted such a light and crispy pastry in a long time, and knowing it's all homemade makes it even more special. The owner is young, attentive, and capable. Kudos to all the other staff for their exceptional kindness. One word: AMAZING! We'll definitely be back soon!

08/09/2025: My experience at this restaurant wasn't positive. I had a Smartbox voucher for two people. Cold welcome at reception, they see I have this voucher in my hand and tell us to go to the restaurant, an attitude typical of office workers. They seat us in a corner of a large room where within 10 minutes two large groups of people arrive, shouting and talking loudly and disrupting our lunch. I wonder why we weren't seated in another area where we could have lunch in peace. Then we get to lunch: very salty spaghetti with clams and dry grilled sea bass fillet. The sliced ​​beef requested medium rare, was instead raw. The waitress, a foreigner, who needs at least some training, since she wanted to put parmesan on my spaghetti with clams, brings me the sea bass, announcing: "Who is this fish for?" I don't even know the name of the dish she's serving. To top it all off, at 2 pm, when we were about to leave, the waiter comes over to point out that the restaurant is closing. But where have we ended up? Except for the view. The restaurant is dated, probably from the 80s or 90s. I don't know what it is. The rest are hotels and apartments. I doubt I'll stay at this "resort."

20/10/2025: Unfortunately, the burrata cheese on the pizza was ice cold, so the pizza itself was also very cold, and the tomato sauce tasted sweet. Well, there are better pizzas. The service was very nice.

23/08/2025: Clean and friendly atmosphere, very fast and friendly service, and quality products; you can tell the owners invest heavily in sourcing the best ingredients. The dough is crispy and easy to digest. I highly recommend it.

25/10/2025: An amazingly beautiful hotel in a dream area. The room was amazingly amazing. A small drawback - you can hear every step outside the door. And another small drawback - it's a shame there's no coffee/tea set in the room. We expected that in such a luxurious place the breakfast would be amazing but it wasn't. The breakfast was casual and not particularly successful. Nothing special and beyond that, once the bread or eggs ran out they didn't fill up anymore. People arrived and there was no food. Even though in reality there was still two hours until breakfast ended. Dinner was terribly expensive and didn't justify the price. The bread is great. The first courses are special and delicious The pasta is excessively al dente as if you were eating uncooked pasta. Not so successful. The main courses are small and terribly expensive and the thing that was really the most wow was the tiramisu. Tiramisu is amazing.

31/05/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We ate really well! The fillet was very tender, tasty and perfectly cooked rare. The wine was excellent, carefully selected. The service was impeccable: friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. It's a shame we didn't dine outside, but we will definitely return when it's warmer, because the view is fabulous! A place that we absolutely recommend for a romantic dinner 🥰*. See you soon!

24/11/2025: I can highly recommend the Hotel Greif. I spent a wonderful weekend in Lignano at the Hotel Greif. The service is excellent and the rooms are lovely. I will definitely be back!
