30/03/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance during a weekend in the city. We immediately liked the environment, young and informal. Good beer and food too. The only thing was that the portion of tripe was decidedly small in proportion to the price. Excellent meatballs. I would love to come back when they have live music!

20/01/2025: Typical place, well kept. Helpful and attentive staff. Good dishes and excellent times. You can feel the authenticity of the things they offer. Not a huge menu but ready to fully satisfy different tastes. Price in line with the quality of the product. Must try.

The most discordant note was the dessert, a scoop of ice cream packaged with a chopped strawberry. I forgot a fundamental clarification, there were 14 of us, we spent about €800 and they didn't even offer us a bitter, in Milan they say the short arm....

11/02/2025: Our stay at the Hotel Firenze in Malcesine was excellent in every way. As soon as we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, who were always professional, attentive and helpful. The room was a true haven of comfort: clean, well heated and furnished with an extremely comfortable and immaculately made bed. The daily cleaning was carried out with great care, so that we always found a fresh and tidy atmosphere. Another highlight was the breakfast, which was rich and of excellent quality - the perfect way to start the day well. We also had the opportunity to try out the hotel's restaurant and pizzeria and were impressed by the excellent cuisine and the quality of the ingredients. An additional plus point is the availability of parking for guests, a much appreciated convenience, especially in a popular tourist region such as Malcesine. In summary, the Hotel Firenze offers a first-class stay characterized by excellent service, well-kept rooms and warm hospitality. An absolutely recommended place for anyone who wants to experience Malcesine in maximum comfort.

04/11/2024: We had a cappuccino and a hot chocolate with cream: both were good, but the chocolate deserves a special mention because it was nice and thick, just how I like it. Mountain type place, full of decorations. Great idea bookcrossing. We will definitely come back.

07/04/2025: At the canteen bar here.. today the dry chicken looked old and the pasta was overcooked. I had fusilli... Well the assistant for the first courses was always rude, I've already been there other times and because it's a canteen I'm not complaining but today it will serve badly and above all the dry chicken, the whole leg was broken and it was almost in pieces but it really looks like a chicken from another day....

09/03/2025: I went with my husband and for us the value for money was decent, we didn't do the All You Can Eat formula. The environment definitely needs tidying up, so-so service, decent food, generous portions: starter, first course, second course and drinks €18 per person. Fair price

24/02/2025: This place strangely recommended by friends really disappointed me. I was sick after dinner. As soon as you enter there is absolutely no welcome, in fact, the cashier turns around and spits into the sink behind the counter. He hands us two menus and we arrange to sit at the table. First to arrive are the rice noodles and the very abundant but absolutely tasteless soy noodles. Then came wantons with dry fried meat set on fire, the only positive note being the spring rolls which were good. Sashimi not fresh and did not correspond to the number of pieces shown on the menu, which I can accept having chosen the all you can eat formula but given that they also offer the possibility of ordering à la carte I expect the quantities to correspond to those shown on the menu), uramaki ok. The fried duck had a good flavor but was very dry, the grilled gyoza left a bad aftertaste in the mouth (the ones from Lidl are much better which I recommend to everyone), the prawns and prawns which should have been salt and pepper had neither, the prawns with peanuts were quite good but when they arrived our stomachs were already upset because the real sore point were the ribs, practically bones without meat fried in a very thick and hard batter that only tasted of oil. I'm sorry to talk about food in this way but they really made me feel bad, I felt nauseous and I had to go to the bathroom, luckily I managed to keep everything in my stomach but I really struggled. I'm really sorry to leave a review like that but it's an experience that I don't wish on anyone and I wouldn't want anyone else to feel as bad as I was and then pay a high amount for what is the average all you can eat and for the quality of the food.
