10/06/2026: Very underwhelming experience. The location is beautiful for a sunset dinner overlooking Venice, but the food is bland, mediocre at best. The service and presentation were less than stellar. It was cold out, so we skipped dessert, but the dessert did look good. The waitress’ attitude changed once we asked for the check. She went from friendly to rude and almost knocked food and water on us when she was hastily cleaning up. At these prices, everything should be excellent.

08/07/2026: I had a great experience at Hostaria Galileo during my visit to Venice. The location is excellent, very close to St. Mark's Square, but with a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere.
The service was very friendly and attentive, and the dishes were very well prepared, with fresh ingredients and typical Italian flavors. It's a great place to try some good pasta.
The atmosphere is charming, perfect for a quiet meal after a day exploring the city. The combination of quality, service, and location makes this restaurant an excellent choice for anyone visiting Venice.
I recommend it to everyone looking for good food, friendly service, and an authentic Italian experience. I would definitely return!

14/06/2026: We had breakfast here. Croissants, cicchetti, coffee. Everything was very good. The service was very friendly. We sat at the tables outside in the alley. It was very pleasantly quiet and cozy.
The cicchetti were excellent. The bread was very good, and the toppings were delicious. We especially liked the ones with spicy and mild salami.

27/04/2026: During our stay in Venice we got croissants to go, juices and hot chocolate and frankly we were not disappointed!

13/06/2026: Do not go here unless you want to be ripped off. I went to go pay by credit card at the bar. The lady scanned my card and before I had a chance to say a word she quickly selected to pay in USD as opposed to Euros. Everyone knows that the buyer loses out when not paying in local currency. I immediately complained and asked her to refund it and repay in euros. She claimed that “option 2 Euros” was broken(ya… right). So I asked she refund it and I’ll pay in cash. She rudely refused and waved me off. I’ve never been treated so poorly by restaurant a staff member. I told her I was going to leave a bad review as I walked out the door.
We had breakfast here, scrambled eggs bacon and toast. It was nothing special.
Best avoid this place

06/05/2026: The food was good, but the service was pushy. I sat down with an ice cream I'd bought to go, and after the ice cream, I wanted a coffee, but they wouldn't serve me. The whole experience cost me €31 for a cappuccino, a canapé, and a double scoop of ice cream. A rip-off!!! 😁😁😁

12/05/2026: A very bad experience at this restaurant.
I simply asked the waiter to heat up a small jar of baby food for my baby, but he heated it far too much, to the point that it exploded on my hand, causing a second-degree burn. Luckily, my baby wasn't hurt.
The staff was very unpleasant, especially the owner, with a disrespectful and inappropriate attitude. We also felt there was a difference in treatment between Italian and foreign customers, particularly in the way the food was served and the way customers were spoken to. This made the experience even more uncomfortable.
Only the waitress tried to be polite and understanding. Thank you to her!
Frankly, avoid this restaurant. I absolutely do not recommend this establishment.
07/05/2026: It's a shame we can't give zero stars. If you don't want to see any more tourists, basically put them on your terrace. The waiter was incredibly rude, unable to tell us where to sit, and said, "Sorry, we just wanted a coffee and a drink at 11:30 am." Close your restaurant if you don't want to work anymore.

An Aperol Spritz as 3.50$ is not an honest price, is very decent.

12/12/2025: Went for a “late night” snack around 2030. Guy at the place said he couldn’t/wouldn’t make a pizza to go and to pick from the slices on the window. Pizza tasted bad, got 3 slices and 2 beers for 36 euro. Absolutely not worth it.

11/03/2026: We had dinner here 2 nights in a row. The carbonara was absolutely delicious 😋 their desserts are beyond incredible. Very relaxing and quiet atmosphere for a relax lunch or dinner. Staff was very friendly.

28/07/2026: The squid ink pasta was really delicious!
The chicken was good, and the service was absolutely fantastic. I went there on a recommendation from the owner of a Korean guesthouse, and I am extremely satisfied! The prices aren't cheap, but everything near the Rialto Bridge is expensive! I think it's pricey because the atmosphere is so great! Pasta costs around 13 to 17 euros. Other places charge a 12% service fee and a seating charge, but they don't charge a seating fee here!
The staff are really friendly! There is a handsome guy and a cute guy there who are so funny lol. The atmosphere is great, they gave us free service, and it is an unforgettable place in Venice!
28/07/2026: Very negative impressions. The service was 16 percent, and on top of that, they added a 15 euro tip to the bill, which I categorically refused. Four drinks, and they wanted 105 euros. The actual value was 88 euros, including the 16 percent tip.
It was very poor and spoiled our mood.
