06/01/2026: I don't like writing negative reviews, but, driven by the well-executed social media hype, I drove 60 km to try this place, but I couldn't find anything that was advertised. It's not a true bacaro, nor a restaurant in a fairytale location, perhaps a tourist dream. The prices aren't cheap. The food wasn't special. I'd recommend reviewing a few aspects, but if you're looking for a quick stop-and-go clientele, counting on tourism in beautiful Chioggia, then it's best to leave it alone. The waiters were friendly and helpful. It's a shame.
06/01/2026: I visit Chioggia often with my parents, who are originally from Chioggia. I'm very saddened by the "tourist trap" that is Bacaro Morgan, which paints a bad image of this beautiful city and its inhabitants. The prices are ridiculous, the quality is terrible, the portions are tiny and don't even match the menu, and above all, the rudeness and impoliteness of the staff serving tables and even at the cash register. I'm very sorry.

01/06/2026: Anik was a wonderful server with a great smile and a very welcoming attitude. After three days in Italy, this was the first restaurant where we truly had an outstanding dining experience. The food was delicious, and the service made it even better. Anik made us feel welcome and took great care of us throughout our meal. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely return! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🇮🇹🍝

08/09/2025: 9 euros for a toasted sandwich, although good, was exaggerated! Plus, he was charging me 1 euro for the takeaway paper tray.

13/05/2026: Bar Foscarini is located right next to the Academia and the Grand Canal. It's a great place for a short break or a caffè latte. There's both indoor and outdoor seating. The staff are very friendly, and the menu offers a good selection. The views of the Grand Canal and the activity around the Academia are lovely. The bar is wheelchair accessible. Highly recommended.

10/06/2026: Very underwhelming experience. The location is beautiful for a sunset dinner overlooking Venice, but the food is bland, mediocre at best. The service and presentation were less than stellar. It was cold out, so we skipped dessert, but the dessert did look good. The waitress’ attitude changed once we asked for the check. She went from friendly to rude and almost knocked food and water on us when she was hastily cleaning up. At these prices, everything should be excellent.
07/06/2026: A truly special experience. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was superb. Head waiter Gaetano made our experience unique. Thank you, Cipriani!

12/12/2025: Went for a “late night” snack around 2030. Guy at the place said he couldn’t/wouldn’t make a pizza to go and to pick from the slices on the window. Pizza tasted bad, got 3 slices and 2 beers for 36 euro. Absolutely not worth it.

25/05/2026: Beautiful place and nice service but bad experience. First they brought one bad dish. Then they wanted to force it on us at all costs. Finally they brought the right dish but when they brought the bill they charged us 4 coffees for two people which we didn't have at all and tried to compensate for it somehow. Everyone misses something but this was inexcusable.

06/05/2026: The food was good, but the service was pushy. I sat down with an ice cream I'd bought to go, and after the ice cream, I wanted a coffee, but they wouldn't serve me. The whole experience cost me €31 for a cappuccino, a canapé, and a double scoop of ice cream. A rip-off!!! 😁😁😁

12/05/2026: A very bad experience at this restaurant.
I simply asked the waiter to heat up a small jar of baby food for my baby, but he heated it far too much, to the point that it exploded on my hand, causing a second-degree burn. Luckily, my baby wasn't hurt.
The staff was very unpleasant, especially the owner, with a disrespectful and inappropriate attitude. We also felt there was a difference in treatment between Italian and foreign customers, particularly in the way the food was served and the way customers were spoken to. This made the experience even more uncomfortable.
Only the waitress tried to be polite and understanding. Thank you to her!
Frankly, avoid this restaurant. I absolutely do not recommend this establishment.
07/05/2026: It's a shame we can't give zero stars. If you don't want to see any more tourists, basically put them on your terrace. The waiter was incredibly rude, unable to tell us where to sit, and said, "Sorry, we just wanted a coffee and a drink at 11:30 am." Close your restaurant if you don't want to work anymore.
