06/05/2026: Avoid this place as they really don't want your business! We've sat down there for a spritz, which was not only the most expensive we've had all around Venice (7 EUR ?!?), but also the smallest one and pretty poor quality. Also unlike the nearby tables where Italians were seating we were not served any snacks or chips with it. Really bad service, poor quality and expensive.

21/04/2026: The service was terrible; the waitresses never came to take our order even though they were looking at us. We ended up leaving without ordering anything.

26/03/2026: The staff were really rude and not up to par (for a bar in Mestre).

04/03/2026: You can't be kicked out of a bar because you're only consuming a bottle of water and a Spritz. "Hey, your order is too small."

12/04/2026: Unfortunately, this was a complete disappointment. My visit to Caffè Internazionale in Venice was awful. The food arrived within a minute, was cold, and had absolutely no flavor. Everything pointed to a rushed service. The service and the staff's behavior reflected this. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place.

30/03/2026: The worst cappuccino I've had in Italy, it tastes like it's made with water. The famous "sad" cappuccino! Rude, uncourteous service. Extremely expensive.

08/06/2026: It was the first time I've been to this ice cream shop with my children. The owner's behavior was terrible; you get the impression he doesn't have children or is someone who doesn't like to communicate... He has no patience or respect for his customers. I absolutely do not recommend this ice cream shop... In the end, I didn't even buy ice cream for my daughter... My daughter is diabetic and at that moment her blood sugar was dropping; she needed something to eat urgently. Since we had an apartment near the ice cream shop, I wanted to get her an ice cream there, but both the staff and the owner were horrendous towards us customers. I do not recommend this place at all.

12/06/2026: The food is decent, sure nothing culinary, but really good for a large campsite! The spaghetti vongole and pizzas were great!

08/06/2026: We ate there twice and were disappointed both times. First visit at lunchtime: Ordered: Bruschetta and Caesar salad. Waiting time was about 35 minutes despite the restaurant being almost empty (only 3 tables occupied). The bruschetta bread was so hard it was barely edible. The fitness salad only had 3 very small, dry pieces of chicken. Second visit in the evening: Ordered: 2 pizzas. This time the wait was 50 minutes!!! (even though only 2 tables ahead of us had ordered). The pizza dough was so hard it was almost impossible to cut the pizza—a disgrace by Italian standards!

16/05/2026: The hotel is located close to Basilica Salute, a really easy walk, where you can catch the water bus to other locations. Check-in for the hotel is around the corner, and the foyer is lovely. WiFi is available in the foyer. The room I stayed in was outside, 100m down the lane, and around another corner. The bed is a small double bed (two singles pushed together) and it was clean and surprisingly comfortable. Bathroom is tiny, and wear your shoes - there are some water leaks. The shower drain was not able to handle the volume of water (possibly okay if you only use a trickle) and the floor was flooded. Room could use and upgrade, it's very shabby genteel. If you freak out at a less-than-pristine room, do not go here. However, given that is was Biennale, space to stay was at a premium. It was okay for the price - secure, bed was clean, private, and good access. You wouldn't want to stay in the room as your holiday, but if you just want to sleep, pretty good.

17/04/2026: AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Tourist trap of the worst kind. Worst experience ever. Pasta al sepia does not taste like anything I have ever eaten, not even tasted like seafood! The meatballs dish contained one shameful PAIR of small meatballs. No typo here. Two meatballs floating in the middle of the sauce, two lettuce leaves, two bread slices. They charged 5 meals for 4 customers, also charged incredible 12% service. When I complained and called them dishonest the waiter tried to prove me wrong, saying and I am obliged to pay for service even though it was that lame. He called me ignorant who cannot distinguish service from tip, because that is how things are in Italy, differently from the rest of the world. Curious detail: I live in Italy… Wife had a chicken breast that not only looked, also tasted like flipflop soles. I was ripped off. Paid +30€ for that pieces of crap.

12/05/2026: Cannot give less than one star otherwise this place would be in negative grounds. Unless you are a tourist the waiters will ignore you, there is no menu to check the prices, the quality of the food is terrible, the level of hygiene makes places like Calcutta look like the inside of a hospital. If you dare complain about anything the waiters will try to get rid of you as fast as possible. Beware they often claim their CC machine doesn't work, but only after you have eaten and force you to look for an ATM machine (you can also refuse to pay in cash as they should have warned you before they took your order) Worst experience I ever had in Venice and I wonder how it manages to survive with such a terrible reputation.

12/04/2026: We came in because we saw cannoli in the window and it looked tempting. We were two adults and two children, just planning to have a dessert and a coffee, without checking Google reviews beforehand. Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed. The cannoli had almost no taste at all and it was more expensive as central. The coffee was okay, but nothing special. In the end, we had the feeling this was more of a tourist trap. The bill came to 42€ for 4 cannoli and 2 coffees, likely also including a coperto for all four of us, and we had to pay cash. Prices weren’t clearly displayed outside either, not for cannolis Overall, a rather disappointing experience – we wouldn’t recommend.

03/12/2025: There's no single price displayed. A small pizza costs €5, served strictly by hand by the owner, with 5-cm-long nails. Hygiene is a mystery... Receipt not received.

21/11/2025: The lady touches everything with her hands, it's shocking. A simple glove or a pair of tongs would be enough... The bread would even be good.

01/06/2026: If you want the worst food you’ve ever had on your Italy trip than try this place! Got told the second we sit down they don’t do any fried food now and it cut the menu options in half, we ended up ordering grilled scampi and prosciutto pizza. The grilled scampi was completely burnt and the pizza was literally frozen pizza they still managed to burn. Once I paid I was told suddenly “we don’t do card the machine is broken”. Both that and the no fried food has no sign or notice until we sat down or paid. Avoid this place at all costs it’s obviously a scam to tourists.

29/05/2026: The service was terrible! The pizza had some diced sausage on it... The woman who worked there wouldn't take my money because it was coins.
