03/08/2025: Good food, set menu for lunch, we tried the zingara as a first course, then the steak with potatoes and peas for the second course, which was truly excellent. The only flaw is that even though we asked how it worked, we weren't told we could choose just one course for €15 instead of €20. I also think the table setting outside could be avoided in advance because pigeons were crawling on the cutlery and glasses. They can be set up as needed, I think. Other than that, a good experience.

02/08/2025: Unfortunately, even though some of the dishes tasted good, I spent the night vomiting after eating and drinking at the restaurant. The food was probably too heavy. Too fatty, too acidic, and the wine was poor. They offer some classic Venetian dishes. The menu itself would work if it were prepared with more care. The service is comically poor, seemingly on purpose, like in those Roman taverns where you go to be insulted. The tables are very close to each other, inside you can't pass, and outside the tables are 30cm apart. The fact that there's a fixed menu starting at 50 euros makes the quality/price ratio not at all good. It used to be a nice place, now it's decidedly poor.

24/07/2025: A typical Venetian place. Cicchetti, and for someone in my profession, eating out is a daily occurrence, and here you always get excellent daily specials. I recommend it.

01/08/2025: We came yesterday! The food was super good!!!! Everything was excellent! The pizzas 🍕 are just too good! The waitress and the owner were super nice! When we come back to Italy, we'll definitely stop by ;) Thank you so much!

25/07/2025: Delicious pizza and fries, wonderful tiramisu, and very friendly and helpful service. The actual opening hours were different than advertised, so we had to wait for them to open.

06/07/2025: The food is good and the staff is professional and prepared. But the dark side is the owner, no one knows why but he prepared a table for 2 but we had booked for 3. When I asked to pay the bill he told me to wait while he was setting up the tables 🤔.

09/06/2025: I can't share my experience, since they refused me, simply because I wanted to have dinner, but I was alone, "I couldn't occupy the table for only 1 person".... I was told on the phone after several times that I tried to book.... In many restaurants that I have been to, something like this has never happened!!!!... This is Discrimination 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼 Terrible

02/08/2025: Our waiter called Giorgio was excellent. He made our evening much nicer and unlike many waiters he combined the professional with the human touch perfectly bravo.

05/08/2025: Una brutta esperienza, io mi domando come si po mangiare così in una osteria tipo Venezia che cucina bengalese che non lo sa cucinare! Tutto stracotto cozze piccole e stracotti, gamberi e scampi stracotti, risotto di branzino non c’è era niente di branzino solo brodo,capesante gratinato stracotto, per favore vi dico ai titolari fate col cosa con questa cucina perché rovinate cucina italiana, niente mangiabili

02/08/2025: My family and I stumbled upon this tucked-away spot and thought it would be perfect for a nice dinner. Sadly, everything went downhill after the drinks. The starters looked beautiful but were ice-cold and clearly reheated. The arancini, in particular, were cold in the center—obviously not freshly prepared. Instead of being made on the spot, they had simply been microwaved and served. Then came the mains… The roasted ham was served cold and sliced like salami, accompanied by a pile of fries. The mussels were also cold, bland, and completely unseasoned. The risotto was overcooked and flavorless, while the gnocchi were mushy and tasted like they were drowning in Heinz tomato soup. Honestly, I could have prepared a better Italian meal blindfolded and with earplugs in. When we politely raised concerns about the cold food, our lovely waitress offered only one solution: reheating. I declined, as reheating seafood is a great way to end the night with food poisoning. Shortly after, the manager came to speak with us—and that’s when things took a turn for the worse. He was hot-tempered, aggressive, and unprofessional. He constantly overspoke us, insisting we just didn’t "understand Italian food." He even tried to justify the cold, overcooked dishes by blaming it on "cultural differences." But I’m fairly certain that nowhere in Italy is pasta boiled into the consistency of mashed potatoes. We tried to remain respectful, but every attempt at conversation was cut off with him yelling, “Lady, stop!” Eventually, we asked for the check just to put an end to an increasingly uncomfortable interaction. The food concerns were never addressed, and to add insult to injury, we were charged in full—even though the waitress herself confirmed the food was cold. This place is a textbook tourist trap—charming decor designed to draw you in, but once you’re seated, it’s all downhill. If you’re looking for an enjoyable Italian meal, I’d suggest looking elsewhere unless you want to leave disappointed, hungry, and with your own tale of an angry little Italian manager whose temper is sharper than his chef’s knife.

26/07/2025: The place has a really large selection of food, which was impressive. We visited during a quiet time, so we expected a bit more attention from the staff, but they seemed scattered and mostly ignored us. On the bright side, our food came very quickly. The pasta was absolutely delicious – definitely the highlight of the meal. The salad, however, was disappointing: just a few ingredients thrown into a bowl without any care. Overall, it was an okay experience, but the service and presentation could be much better.

22/07/2025: Wir waren als Familie (4 Personen) dort Abendessen. Sogar 2x mal. Beim ersten Mal haben Sie ein Hauptgang komplett vergessen. Mein Vater musste warten bis wir alle fertig waren und erst nachdem ich nachgefragt habe kam dann doch noch das Essen. Da wir dachten geben wir eine 2. Chance, gingen wir nochmals probieren. Beim 2x Mal haben Sie die Vorspeise vergessen und schon wieder einen Hauptgang. Das was uns wütend machte war, dass der Kellner bei einer Frage zum Essen die Augen verdrehte und den anschein machte, dass er gar keine Lust hatte zu arbeiten. Das Essen ist durchschnittlich. Bei diesen Punkten macht das Essen dort auch nicht wirklich spass und man möchte einfach wieder raus gehen.

13/06/2025: I have no idea if the food is good here. We wanted to stop by for a late lunch today (3 p.m.). According to Google, the trattoria is open until 4 p.m. At 3 p.m., all the chairs inside were stacked up and someone was cleaning the dining room. They should either update the information on Google Maps or wait until 4 p.m. to clean.

25/07/2025: La Perla Nera was wonderful today and yesterday. Best restaurant in Jesolo. Thank you for everything. A real treat.

16/07/2025: The restaurant benefits from its good location. There were two of us there last night. It wasn't very busy, but we had to wait over 30 minutes before we could order drinks, and the service was very unfriendly. Which is very unpleasant and uncomfortable when going to the restroom, it's not exactly hygienic next to the kitchen. Not recommended; there are much better restaurants in Lido Jesolo.

15/07/2025: Arriviamo in questo locale con tutti i migliori auspici. Ne abbiamo sempre sentito parlare benissimo da chi lo frequenta regolarmente…e in zona gode di una certa “fama”. Prima cosa, locale caotico. Devi urlare per capirti e sentirti. Il ragazzo che viene a prendere le ordinazioni è sul lentuccio a segnare le variazioni (poche!!)ai piatti che avevamo scelto ma vabbè, non avevamo fretta. Peccato però che il toast alla francese scelto da mia figlia, non avesse la variazione chiesta. Quindi ha dovuto aspettare che glielo rifacessero. A parte questo, arriviamo alla qualità del cibo. I funghi sono quelli che si trovano nelle scatolette del supermercato. Tutti gli ingredienti sia dei toast che dell’hamburger di mio marito…COMPLETAMENTE insipidi. Zero sale. Quindi se soffri di pressione alta, sei nel posto giusto!! Inoltre sia il panino di mio marito che i nostri toast non erano “legati” fra di loro, il pane si staccava dal resto e ti rendevi così conto che la tanto decantata mozzarella in realtà…c’era? Non c’era?? Mistero…era tutto slegato, gommoso, secco, bisognava masticare bene sennò il boccone non andava giù! Ma d’altronde è normale se ti trovi sul piatto qualcosa di più simile ad un chewing-gum che ad un toast… Altra cosa. Tavoli mignon, se non stai attento ti cade per terra la bottiglia d’acqua o altro…devi stare immobile e vedrai che salverai la cena, anche se non merita. Ah, dimenticavo di parlare delle verdure pastellate…a parte essere 4…forse 5…erano imbevute nell’olio quindi pesanti e stomachevoli. Forse il cuoco lo sa, ecco perché ne mette poche. Ma te le fa pagare come fossero tante! Insomma, noi non torneremo ma a chi piace trangugiare e basta e spendere parecchio per la scarsa qualità di ciò che trangugi, allora okay, il Cortivo è perfetto!!

23/05/2025: In my bike trek it was a pleasant surprise. I stayed overnight and had dinner finding hospitality and truth. The breakfast treatment improvised and personalized for my efforts. In the rush of those who are passing through words and smiles; a bit of home.
