23/02/2026: There's a set meal of steak, pork chop, and chicken chop for €18.90, listed as a single-person price. If you want to buy it, you need at least two servings, which would be €39.80. So please be careful when ordering! The taste is indeed quite good!

20/03/2026: This is, without exaggeration, one of the worst restaurant experiences of my life. The service is a complete disaster. You ask for plain water, and they don't bring it. The waiters rush around chaotically, ignoring guests, and it feels like you're disturbing them with your presence. I ordered sea bass, and they brought it to me looking as if it had just been pulled out of the water and simply thrown onto a plate. No service, no presentation—"clean it yourself." Is this even normal for a restaurant? But the most unpleasant thing was the attitude towards the guests. There was an elderly couple at the next table; it was the grandmother's birthday. These people are hard of hearing, calm, polite. And what did they get? They raised their voices at them, behaved rudely and disrespectfully. At one point, the waiter took the old man's scarf and didn't give it back. The man left upset. Then they caught up with him and... simply threw the scarf back. This isn't about bad service—it's about a basic lack of respect for people. The payment situation is a separate issue. After such service, they even expect a tip. Moreover, they started openly pressuring us to leave around 25% of the bill. This is beyond reasonable limits. Tips are gratitude, not an obligation, and certainly not pressure. The atmosphere is completely ruined. Instead of dinner, you're left with stress and the feeling that you've stumbled into some random place with no oversight or standards, not a restaurant. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Venice has a huge number of decent restaurants—choose any other, but not this one.

20/03/2026: Want to ruin your mood? This is the place! Terrible service, we left in a bad mood! They didn't give us cheese with the pasta! We poured our own wine! The waiter started yelling throughout the restaurant! A disgusting man yelled at us as we were leaving because we didn't leave a 15% tip of our €50 bill! The view was terrible and everything was terrible!

03/11/2025: It's been a year and a half since I've had their pasta a la vongole and I'm STILL thinking about it. I've tried elsewhere in Italy and cooking it back home, but can't get anywhere as good. We saw huge sacks of flour being brought in while we were there, so they clearly are making everything fresh in the kitchen and the quality shows.

28/10/2025: We arrived around 5pm, and the atmosphere was friendly and the food was delicious! The portions were generous and the pasta and bread that came with the set were enough to fill us up! It's a mystery why there aren't many customers at this restaurant. It might be a hidden gem. The staff will be nice to you if you say hello before entering!

26/10/2025: Bar Monetine, along with its owner, are the epitome of hospitality. I went for the first time last night with two friends, and I feel like I've been a regular forever. The staff were genuine and always smiling, and we enjoyed aperitifs and dinner, sharing laughs and conversation. Highly recommended!!! Keep it up, guys!

05/04/2026: Easter Sunday in Burano. Packed, but we managed to find a spot at 2:30 pm. The pizza and pasta are really good and filling. A great place to go! The canal next to the table makes it special; you can even ignore the hundreds of people strolling by just centimeters away 🤷🏽‍♀️.

04/04/2026: Lasagna was decent 7/10 But seafood pasta under the average I m disappointed about this entire marketing regarding the italian food, their ideas are delicious but how they do the food is embarrassing

20/09/2025: We stopped for a break and drank an Aperol spritz and a ginger ale. They also brought us some snacks. We appreciated the discreet service and the friendly staff.

14/09/2025: Beautiful little restaurant, the food was excellent, I recommend it!

12/09/2025: I ordered mussels marinara but I got clams marinara. I said that's not what I ordered, but the waitress insisted since that's what she wrote... She didn't question for a second that she might have made a mistake. I had to accept the dish and was charged in full. Everyone can make mistakes, but the arrogance with which I was treated is shameful. I've been there several times in the past, but luckily Caorle has a great selection of good restaurants with better customer service. They won't see me again.

03/01/2026: Pizza, focaccia, and farinata: all excellent, friendly owner, and fast service. Of course, expect lines during busy periods, but it's worth it!

25/10/2025: A wonderful pizza to go! You get the slice in a great cardboard container that fits in your hand, so nothing gets smeared or drips. Slices come in lots of varieties, all delicious. Tastes like vacation in Italy. 😊
