The staff were very friendly, spoke English, and were very helpful. We tried traditional Venetian dishes and they were delicious: octopus salad and seppie in nero con polenta.

We stopped in after spending a few hours wandering around the Biennale Arte in Castello. It's a great place to relax in the shade, and they serve a good Aperol Spritz!

At first i was really sceptical to this restaurant because of bad reviews, but my family wanted to eat there so we stayed. After visiting, I must say: I absolutely don't understand bad opinions about this place. Food is really good, location is calm and attractive, and the waiters are trying really hard to make sure you have everything you need and treat you the best. We were amazed by them

22/05/2026: Great little trattoria. Very funny owner. The cuttlefish pasta with shelled prawns was in a fantastic tomato sauce. Excellent! The spaghetti with prawns and zucchini was also good, maybe add your own pepper. Overall great, especially since it was inexpensive.
16/05/2026: We had reservations a month in advance for this place in Venice. When we got there, it was super hectic and chaotic. It was a really busy restaurant, which is usually a good sign. The owner told us we'd have to wait ten minutes, but it ended up being more like fifteen to twenty. There were even people who came in after us without reservations who got seated before us. But after all that initial craziness, once we finally sat down to eat, it was totally worth the wait. Even though it was hectic, the staff was on top of everything, taking our order right away. The food came out quickly in the end, and I wasn't disappointed.
