15/05/2026: This bar has the most down to earth staff and a great lively vibe at night. In the day, it’s peaceful and a great way to meet people, locals and travellers.

11/05/2026: Just came here for a quick bite and a glass of Prosecco. We were doing a bit of bar-hopping that day and only ordered few items. Had some meatball, one with polenta (and some stuffing) and a skewer with chicken breast. Two glasses of Prosecco with that. The food was decent. Not the greatest around, but enjoyable. Prosecco was nice, cold and bubbly. The place seems popular for drinks and also for breakfast. That afternoon though it was pretty quiet inside. But the prices are really fair and staff was really friendly and welcoming. Our Bulldog was welcome inside as well. It's surely a good option for a quick snack and a glass or two. Lots of outside tables as well in case you want some air (be sure to sit on the right tables - there's another Bar with outdoor seating as well).

23/07/2026: A trattoria away from the hustle and bustle, with simple, authentic food. The staff is incredibly friendly, and you truly feel like you're in great company.

20/07/2026: A small, popular trattoria with limited selection, but very good food (and that's no mistake) at a more than fair price, especially the fish. Excellent service, a traditional atmosphere, the patrons chatted among themselves, and we didn't understand a thing; it felt like we'd wandered into a theater. A little out of the way, but if you want authentic, popular Chioggia, don't miss it.

13/08/2026: This restaurant has an outdoor area on Chioggia's main street. It's perhaps a bit busy, but it was still pleasant to dine because the view was of the canal with the moored fishing boats. Fast service and professional staff. We ordered two fried fish dishes, which were very generous and delicious. Recommended!!!

01/01/2026: Whenever we go to do work in that area, we stop there. I wasn't familiar with the place, and a colleague of mine told me we should try it; the food is good, and he was right. I had a good lunch for €14-15; I don't remember the exact price, but overall it was good. I know it because there's a service station with a gas station, but I'd never noticed there was a restaurant at the end of the parking lot.

07/11/2025: Excellent business lunch, welcoming and bright! I stopped in for a business lunch and was very satisfied. The place is truly welcoming; I ate on the enclosed outdoor veranda, which makes the atmosphere very bright and pleasant, even for a lunch break. The staff was very kind and helpful. As for the food, the portions are generous and the cuisine is simple but good and tasty. Excellent value. Recommended!

30/07/2026: I visited this restaurant today after discovering it in the Michelin Guide. To my surprise, I was able to book a table for 7:00 PM on the very same day. I was also surprised by how spacious the restaurant was, especially considering how delicious and comforting the food was. They kindly served me the tasting menu even though it stated that it was not available for a single guest. The service was excellent. My waitress was incredibly attentive, warm, and professional. I’m truly sorry that I didn’t have any cash with me to leave her a tip. Please accept my apologies. Thank you for such a wonderful experience and for your genuine hospitality. I would be happy to come back again during my next trip to Venice!

30/05/2026: For me, Lo Sfizio is a great resource: I always go there for lunch when I'm in San Donà for work. I've always had good second courses, since the meat is grilled. They have great quality cooked vegetables. I was tempted by their club sandwich: I'd give it 6 or 7 stars! Delicious! When they brought it to me, I thought I'd have a hard time finishing it, given the quantity, but it took me very little! I'm happy to reiterate: delicious. Congratulations, I found you by chance, but I wouldn't trade you for anyone. I highly recommend it. Bravo to everyone.

03/06/2026: My daughter's baptism was a great success. The staff was friendly and professional, and the food was excellent. Also ideal for celiacs. The location is beautiful; it's worth a try for nature and animal lovers.

04/05/2026: Beautiful agriturismo with well-kept animals, huge outdoor parks, and a warm and welcoming restaurant. Friendly, cheerful staff. Everything was fabulous. The food was beyond excellent: many of the homemade dishes, like the buffalo ricotta cream and porchetta, are truly unique! Highly recommended for those with children; they had a great time outside... :)

25/06/2026: The owner is very kind and helpful. Excellent food! I recommend trying the rabbit with vegetables (super!) The scallops au gratin are delicious. The baked potatoes, with or without saffron, are flavorful and cooked to perfection. The meatballs with sauce... you can mop up the sauce. Everything is delicious, MADE WITH LOVE AND DEDICATION. I'll try more in the future! I usually order takeout, but you can also eat in. There are just a few tables, set up simply but very nicely. A special thanks to the owner.

12/05/2026: I really wanted to love this place because it felt as authentic as it can get, and I hesitated writing this review because I never want to hurt a small local business. But the experience was disappointing enough that it feels important to share. The restaurant did not feel very clean: the salt shakers were dirty and some of the cutlery still had small food residue on it. We ordered a meat lasagna, a lemon cream pasta, and a caprese “salad.” The lasagna felt like it had been reheated in a microwave before serving. The pasta portion was very large, but extremely dry and honestly difficult to finish. The caprese salad was roughly cut tomatoes with cheese(-which was actually good), but even the olive oil and balsamic dressing came in small packaged sachets for self Assembly Despite all of this, I still felt sympathetic toward the owners and wanted to support the business. However, things became uncomfortable when it was time to pay. We had already calculated the expected total beforehand, which should have been €32, but the owner independently decided to add an extra €4 service charge. We would have gladly tipped on our own, but choosing an amount and demanding it as a service fee felt unreasonable. To make it even stranger, we were not given a receipt at all. everything was written manually on a small pink piece of paper, which she kept herself.

12/08/2026: This trattoria is somewhat hidden on the outskirts of town. The daily menu is simple and flexible. Due to personal needs, I asked for half portions, which was a good thing given the large portions. The lady taking orders is incredibly sweet, attentive, and professional. I recommend this place for its balance of essential dining options, including its attractive price. There's a small parking space in front, or a parking space near the roundabout.

15/06/2026: We were really looking forward to dining at Aromi, but unfortunately we were disappointed. The prices are extremely high, yet the food was only okay. The portions were ridiculously small, even by fine-dining standards. We left the restaurant still hungry and had to order room service afterwards, which says a lot. The service was good and the view is beautiful, but those were the only real highlights, but still it can’t justify the price. For us, Aromi was simply not worth it.

23/05/2026: We chose the seven-course tasting menu with wine pairings: carefully prepared dishes, elegant flavors, excellent ingredients, and a truly enchanting location. We were with our eight-and-a-half-month-old baby, and during the evening, we had some difficulty getting him to sleep. The staff, however, was simply extraordinary: patient, kind, attentive, and never intrusive. They waited on us with great sensitivity, making us feel welcomed and completely at ease. In places like this, you expect fine cuisine, but when you also find such a warm welcome, the memory truly lingers. Compliments to the entire staff. An experience we would gladly repeat.
