18/07/2024: The food was great, and the service was exceptional. But we were not expecting to also be entertained. In a tourist city like Venice, it is not uncommon to meet hardened, disinterested service people. Here the staff made the whole experience fun! They were extremely outgoing, engaging, humorous, witty; and seemed to be genuinely interested in us. This restaurant is small, with seating for no more than 50 or 60 people. At 7:15 we saw people without reservations being told to come back in two hours. Make a reservation on their website! Not only was the food good, it was also very reasonable priced, especially for Venice. We started with Bruschetta with our cocktails while we decided what to order. The Buratta salad was perfect for us to share. For entrees we selected Spaghetti Carbonara and Pappardelle with Bolognese sauce. I never order Carbonara at home because it is always pasty, but theirs was rich and creamy. The Bolognese was also very good. They offer good quality house wines at a very reasonable price.

12/07/2024: Most pleasant restaurant in Venice, tried carbonara and ravioli, strong recommendation for both. Tiramisu creamy and delicious. Best thing about the restaurant is the staff, good ambience and attitude.

05/08/2024: 'Da Poldo' was recommended to me by a good friend and I can only pass on his recommendation. I have never eaten such good beef fillet in my life as I did here. Plus a wonderful slice of polenta and a delicious salad. The special house wine offered from the clay jug completed the meal. I was completely satisfied and on my next holiday in Jesolo, a visit to 'Da Poldo' will be mandatory again...

25/08/2024: 1) La prenotazione effettuata un’ora prima, non risultava. 2) Al tavolo il contenitore del pane presentava 4/5 mini fette di pane e 4/5 bibanesi (una sorta di grissini piccoli e tozzi); abbiamo avuto l’impressione che fossero gli avanzi dei clienti precedenti; non li abbiamo toccati a beneficio dei successivi. 3) Mancavano i bicchieri che sono stati posati a testa in giù da un cameriere che non ci ha degnato di un’occhiata; 4) I tagliolini con gamberetti e zucchine risultano, al palato, dei tagliolini in bianco (scotti) con - a parte - gamberetti e zucchine. 5) I camerieri paiono degli “stagionali” che per il resto dell’anno fanno tutt’altro. 6) 50€ per due tagliolini, una bottiglia d’acqua e un sorbetto- considerato tutto quanto sopra- sono decisamente troppi. 7) Lo scontrino fiscale neanche chiedendolo.

25/08/2024: Je suis désolé pour le commentaire négatif. Ma femme et moi y avons consommer des fruit de mers et du poisson, rien n'était bon, tout était trop cuit, et l'addition elle était très salée... Je ne le recommande pas du tout

06/07/2024: Misschien had ik te veel van dit succesvol restaurant verwacht. Het eten was zeer lekker maar de bediening was gewoon bot, de ober sprak geen woord. Zowel de prosecco als de witte wijn waren niet fris waardoor we ijsblokjes dienden toe te voegen. Gelukkig was ons gezelschap uitstekend maar hier kom ik niet meer…

16/06/2024: Parece ser que es de los mejores sitios de la Via Garibaldi. Restaurante pequeño, con mesas en el exterior, super concurrido. Imprescindible reservar, siempre esta lleno. Buena comida, buen servicio y precio medio.

03/08/2024: Ci siamo fermati per un pranzo un po fuori orario in questo caldo Agosto . Location tranquilla ,elegante e raffinata . Piatti ricercati e di qualità superiore . Servizio competente e discreto , di livello. Sicuramente uno dei posti migliori , se non il migliore , provato a Venezia . La qualità si paga , e molto volentieri. Estremamente consigliato .

25/06/2024: Pleasant place where you can savor excellent wines accompanied by crostini or plates of cold cuts and cheeses served by true professional experts in the wine sector who competently advise you on your taste and where there is a wide possibility of choosing both outside and in the entire room, furnished with style and elegance adjacent to the hotel, where you can sit, relax and consume.

03/08/2024: Mirandolina! The living room evening version. Informal but tasteful environment, spaced tables and nice background music. Traditional dishes but not "reinterpreted", simply well chosen, prepared in the best possible way and with excellent raw materials. The friendly innkeeper passionately searches for what he can offer and, for example, we tasted it I Shanky's, an excellent Irish whiskey or the quack's bitters etc. Very fair price, less than €40 each for a very complete dinner. Nice not to feel like a tourist in such a touristy place!
