21/07/2026: A great experience. I'd never been there before, so I trusted the reviews and was right. Choice of four first courses and four second courses. Wine and coffee at a fair price. But the fried food deserves special mention, as it's cooked with fresh oil. And you could tell, because the fish was crispy. I recommend booking, even though we only waited five minutes without a reservation. Last but not least, as always, the wine—obviously, by the carafe—is truly good, chilled, and doesn't go to your head, just the way I like it.

31/05/2026: We stayed at this place twice. We returned because the first time we liked it and got a room upstairs, which was fine. The second time we got one of the rooms overlooking the garden. Firstly, there's no way to ventilate or even open a window since the only window, apart from the small bathroom window, is a glass door, and obviously you're not going to leave it open unless you're in the room or at night. Secondly, if you happen to be there for a celebration with 50 people, as we were, you can't get a wink of sleep until they leave, since the celebration was in a tent they have just five meters from the rooms. Furthermore, the walls between the rooms are paper-thin; in short, this second time was a disaster.

05/04/2026: While staying in Mestre on vacation, we decided to eat something other than Venetian cicchetti, or tramezzini. The restaurant is right in the center of Mestre, so you can stroll through the main streets from the door. The menu is incredibly inviting and varied, from burgers to more unusual dishes. We had the chickpea hummus, a beef tartare served with a pecorino cream, and a sliced ​​picanha steak. The dishes were delicious and of very high quality, especially the meats. Adequate prices, a welcoming atmosphere, and extremely friendly staff. Congratulations!!

04/04/2026: So far, the best restaurant I've eaten at in Venice, specifically in the Mestre area. Good value, good food, and good service. Some restaurants in Venice should take note; you can eat well without spending a fortune. Highly recommended.

05/07/2026: Desperate for not finding a single place to eat at 10 PM on a Saturday night, we came here because we were drawn to the bright atmosphere. Since it's on a busy waterfront street, and seeing the extensive menu, I gave it a try. We ordered bruschetta and a Margherita pizza by the slice (both very good). Prices were average for a seaside location, although when it's crowded, a table isn't always guaranteed. We had to wait both to order and for our food to arrive, but considering the number of people, we expected that. The place is clean, and the doors are open, so it's not fresh, but there are TVs for football matches.

12/07/2026: We returned to Ca' Minio to celebrate my wife's birthday. There were about thirty of us. I had already written a very positive review of this place, but I need to edit/add it and explain why. The food is undeniable: good, never banal, expertly cooked and served. First and second courses are traditional, but always with a touch of innovation that makes them incredibly appetizing. The place is beautiful, intimate, and welcoming. But the thing that makes Ca' Minio special is Andrea. Kind, attentive, helpful, welcoming, he always anticipates your requests. Omnipresent (so much so that we jokingly asked him if it's always him who we see or if he alternates with twins or triplets). From the moment we booked the event (about a month in advance) until the meal, I received cooperation, assistance, and advice from Andrea. Thank you, Andrea, with tonight's dinner, Cà Minio has secured several new customers. 👏🤩😋

04/07/2026: Very nice place , went there a sunday evening. Food is delicious with a menu proposing multiple choices. Specials of the day as attractive as the rest of the list. Very good selections of wines too. Staff attentive , very welcoming and helpful . Strongly recommend a visit. A real gem .
