A small, unassuming restaurant where the food is good and tasty. They offer affordable lunch menus (from €12.90 to €18.90) with generous portions. Impeccable service.

Our waiter was very attentive and friendly. We really enjoyed the appetizers. The fish is supposed to be excellent, but we were looking for a really good pizza – and were unfortunately disappointed. The pizzas seemed rather bland and didn't impress us. It's a shame, because overall the restaurant made a good impression. Anyone dining here should probably stick to the fish dishes.

During our day trip to Venice, we were looking for a good yet affordable restaurant – preferably a bit off the beaten tourist track. That's how we came across San Basegio Ristorante, located near the harbor. We found the location ideal: a bit quieter than the busier areas, but still easily accessible. The menu offers both pizza and pasta. There were four of us, and we ordered Pizza Margherita, Pizza Prosciutto e Funghi, Pizza Bacon, and Pizza Spinaci. Overall, we were satisfied with the food. Everything tasted good and was perfectly acceptable. We would have preferred fresh mushrooms on the Pizza Prosciutto e Funghi, as they didn't use any fresh ones – but it was still tasty. In general, we would say that the quality of the food and the restaurant itself were good, if not exceptional – but in our opinion, the value for money was excellent. The food was good, and the restaurant was good, if not exceptional – but we felt the price-performance ratio was absolutely right. ... With four drinks, we ended up spending just under €70, which is a really fair price for Venice. If you're looking for a solid restaurant in Venice with reasonable prices and deliberately want to avoid the typical hotspots, this is a great choice.

We ate there on two separate days and were very satisfied! The food was delicious, and the service was very friendly and attentive. We would gladly come back.

Decent vegetarian menu, efficient and courteous service, tiramisu not good. Cover charge of €2. However, the location on the canal with a view of the Giudeca River, off the beaten tourist track and frequented by locals, is worth the detour.

The flavor of the Italian dishes is surprisingly good, especially since you're served by an Asian family. We came here for breakfast during our three days in Venice, and we also had lunch here a couple of times. The lasagna and pizza were delicious! The quality-price ratio is excellent! And the coffee is exceptional, especially the latte. Highly recommended!!

Good, nice and cheap, good taste.

We stumbled across this place while taking a walk. First of all we had a drink. One Hugo & one Aperol Spritz, I also had a glass of Prosecco it came to 14€ bargain. We walked a little & decided to come back to eat. We had a Margarita Pizza, Tuna Penne Pasta, Meatballs with Polenta & Grilled Vegetables all the food was delicious especially the Meatballs. It was also very reasonable 44€ for the food & a Hugo Spritz. The staff were also very friendly. We will not hesitate to return.
