26/05/2025: Every year we come back and as always an excellent top fish lunch

20/05/2025: Very fresh fish, simple but excellent cooking, few dishes but good and well done, like at home. More than fair price: for two, two abundant mixed appetizers and first course (+ water, wine and coffee) 80 Euro! Book in advance. We returned after a year, prices slightly increased, but still fair.

30/06/2025: It's one of our favorite places we've been going there for many years and it's a guarantee, I personally love the tables in the garden in the summer. Attentive service.

29/05/2025: I've only been to eat at Osteria Trieste once so far but the experience was more than positive! It had honestly been a long time since I left the restaurant table so satisfied, the dishes were well made and one better than the other! Really impeccable service, they are very kind and the environment is very well-kept and clean Excellent value for money, I'll be back soon!

09/07/2025: I don't know if they've changed pizza chefs. But today at noon it was awful. It tasted like chewing gum in the middle. Too much liquid in the middle, both mine and my colleague's. I've been here a few times in the past because I was passing through for work.

12/06/2025: Great service, the girl who served us, with the queue without glasses, was very attentive to our needs, before we spoke.... The only flaw is that the fish salad in my opinion, should be served warm, not cold from the fridge and the cover charge is too expensive. I wouldn't go back....

11/07/2025: Pros The Hotel Alla Pergola scores highly with its good location and modernly furnished rooms. Both the center and the beach are within walking distance. Eurospar and Luna Park are also nearby. Our room was nice and clean and was serviced daily. Air conditioning ensured a pleasant temperature in the room. The large balcony, which featured a clothes rack and two armchairs with a table, was particularly practical – ideal for drying wet swimwear or relaxing in the evening. The bathroom was attractively designed and featured a rain shower. The breakfast was solid and provided a good start to the day. Another plus point was the staff, who were not only friendly but also spoke German, which made communication much easier. Cons The only minor drawback was an unpleasant odor from the shower drain in the bathroom. However, this problem was quickly and efficiently resolved after a brief message to the reception, which speaks volumes about the hotel's excellent service. As a suggestion for improvement, the installation of a fly screen on the balcony door would be desirable, as the door cannot be completely closed from the outside.

10/06/2025: We had dinner at the restaurant using the package with accommodation for one night in Burano. A truly magical experience! Needless to say, the menu was exquisite and the message that the chefs want to convey with their environmental cuisine was also very interesting.

08/06/2025: The judgment refers to the experience at the Osteria Contemporanea: The service was unfortunately approximate: A glass was missing, a napkin, and they brought sparkling water instead of still water. The first course was served and left there without presentation. The 4 surprise courses did not excite me but perhaps the expectations were too high, a dinner at the restaurant probably and not at the osteria would have had a different "impact". The very good macerated white wine. But the thing that leaves the most bitter taste in the mouth is this, we went to pay and Chiara at that precise moment moves to the osteria kitchen, visible because it has glass. We ask while we are paying “since she is here behind us can we say hello?”, wait a minute, she comes into the kitchen and talks to her.. she comes out… I’m sorry but the chef is busy right now… he is so busy that he can’t turn his head and wave from the glass??... it would have been a small gesture of gratitude that would be much appreciated… We very ironically accepted the verdict and left saying… “it doesn’t matter, say hello to her!!!”. The beauty of coming to these places goes beyond the courses that are served, whether they are 4…7…10…15…. sharing, even a simple greeting can be! I understand that we were at the tavern and not the restaurant, but in any case we are also part of those who allow this place to continue to exist and for them to continue to do their job. While we were having dinner we were thinking of returning and trying the restaurant experience that can still be seen from the tavern!!… I will think about it carefully unfortunately.. with regret!!! Thanks anyway for the experience.

18/06/2025: If you find yourself in Mestre there are 3 reasons: you wanted to go to Venice but you got lost; you heard about the existence of the M9, the multimedia museum of the 20th century; you work or live there and you can't escape. In all this, the "da Gino" tavern is a happy island: an "old-fashioned" tavern with furnishings that recall the historic ones in Bologna or Trieste. It is very popular both for lunch and dinner. The owner Maurizio is a big man with white hair, stern but kind, almost always slyly at the counter. The staff in the dining room is attentive, smiling and fast. The chef comes from Venetian restaurants, he can prepare you a fish pie or risotto, as well as spectacular beef stew. The menu changes often according to the seasons. As a second course they have excellent meat and Iberian ham and medium and long-aged cheeses. Oh, I forgot! The walls are covered with excellent bottles of wine, there are two fridges full of excellent bubbles and you can spend little or a lot depending on how much you understand... In short, highly recommended to try.

06/07/2025: It is one of the stops par excellence every time I go to Fano, not so much for the food (which is exquisite), but for the beauty of the place! Both in summer and winter the charm is wonderful! I regularly find myself saying that celebrating a wedding here would be a fairy tale! We celebrated my sister's graduation and we did not regret it.

09/07/2025: Magnificent view facing the Rialto Bridge with the gondolas and boats passing by, the drinks a little expensive! The pizzas weren't on the menu, so you have to ask for another one, which is a bit unusual for a country known for its pizzas!! The pizzas were quite good and well-garnished. The waiters were quite friendly!! It's a shame to have to pay 12% more than the service charge; it's still a bit steep.

09/07/2025: We had an amazing meal here—absolutely recommend trying the catch of the day. Ours was razor clams and the soft shell crab lightly fried to perfection, was a total standout. Fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The Go Fish Seafood risotto is a must-try. Their restaurant is 1 of 3 where you can order this traditional dish. The hospitality was just as good as the food. The staff spoke great English, were warm and welcoming, and made the experience feel relaxed and family-friendly. It’s the kind of place you’ll want to return to—and we definitely will.

09/07/2025: We had the fish of the day, which was very fresh and delicious. They prepared it at our table. The tiramisu for dessert was good. The staff was extremely friendly and child-friendly.

22/06/2025: But have they changed management? Cicchetti with ham or mortadella for €2.50 the others for €4, glass of “friulano” for €4, crazy prices, willing but unprepared guys!

10/07/2025: Quick help on the beach from hunger 😁 a little narrower selection, slightly higher prices than average. But handy when you're on the beach and you're hungry. The food was delicious, the fries were delicious, and the draft beer was great too
