19/10/2025: Good service and a good place to have breakfast

15/10/2025: Following a walking tour of Dorsoduro our guide advised us to head to Campo Santa Margerita for food. Was walking by this place, which seemed lively and busy. Lots of locals chilling but also workers/students in and out for meal/pasta of the day. Ordered pomodoro, cabonara pasta and salad. All good and tasty portions, for the price. Coffee was spot on. Service was attentive when required and for how busy the place was. Bonus if you like 80s music. Good local atmosphere and relaxed vibe.

01/09/2025: I was surprised by the place. Although it's a bit small inside, the food is good and the prices are fair. They have a great variety of burgers, and the craft beers are also very good. I highly recommend it.

16/09/2025: We came here for dinner with colleagues, a real discovery of local cuisine. There's no menu, but Nicola is there to present all the daily specials featuring local fish, with their respective prices. He's very friendly and very characteristic. The fish is incredibly fresh; on his recommendation, we ate everything from appetizer to main course, without a doubt one of the best in the area. Excellent steamed boiled meats, very good gnocchi, divine fried freshly caught calamari... We'll definitely be back, bringing more colleagues for the great value. 07/10/2025: The atmosphere is beautiful and refined, combining rustic elements with a touch of Japanese tradition. The menu combines Venetian tradition with Japanese fusions, and the wines are strictly natural. We had a lovely evening; the sommelier recommended a good white wine to pair with the dishes—though I would have liked a wine list—the menu is refined, and the quality of the ingredients is evident. It was definitely an interesting experience, although I found the portion sizes a bit small for the price.

30/09/2025: A wonderful place in the heart of Venice. Everything was superlative! The food was extraordinarily good, we had an appetizer and a main course. The Romanian waitress was extremely kind and helped us enormously to understand what we were eating. I highly recommend it!

04/10/2025: I'll start by saying that this was my first time dining at this historic restaurant, so I have no idea what it was like in its heyday. Personally, I can say I ate well and spent a fair amount. I tried both two first courses (seafood carbonara and spaghetti with fish) and two second courses (tuna steak and mixed fried fish), both generously portioned and well-prepared. Their chocolate dessert was truly delicious. The only downside was the lemon sorbet, which had too much vodka in it and was therefore undrinkable. I'll definitely be back next year.

27/10/2025: Wandering through the narrow streets, you'll find Osteria ai Pugni, a casual, yet special place. We can't comment on the food because it was sold out, but the location, staff, atmosphere, and wine selection are worth the price of an intercontinental ticket. Venice is special also thanks to its bacari and the people who bring them to life. Thank you!

29/09/2025: A restaurant that impresses in every way. Incredibly family-friendly. Art supplies and a children's playground that can be viewed from the square via screens. This allows you to enjoy your meal in peace while the kids play, and no one gets bored. The food is excellent. Fresh, generous portions, and excellent service. We highly recommend it. We'll be back.

13/10/2025: If you're a craft beer lover, you'll want to drink it even when you're in Italy. This might be the only beer bar that offers that. I asked for an IPA recommendation and was introduced to EVOQE and LUCKY BREW, both of which are breweries in Veneto, though they're far away. The latter also has a D-IPA, which I preferred. There are 21 taps, and it's cash-on-delivery. There's an indoor area, but everyone drinks while enjoying the fresh air along the waterfront. There's no bridge nearby, so it's a bit of a hassle to cross here, but I'm glad I came. For a light snack, I had some Polpetie, or maybe a croquette, which was also delicious.

11/10/2025: We showed up and they turned us away. You can't even stand in front of the place, which is essentially a public place... I'm speechless!

14/09/2025: A traditional restaurant with excellent quality products. Their homemade porchetta melts in your mouth. The spit-roasted meat is delicious. The peach strudel is also excellent. We'll definitely be back!

20/09/2025: Dining on Grand Canal, across from Basilica Santa Maria was quite an experience. Delicious, high quality food and immaculate service. If you expect massive dishes, like most average American tourists in the reviews, there are other restaurants available. This is for beauty and quality. Hemingway risotto was 10/10.
