17/02/2026: A great wine bar with good indoor seating, perfect for a (preferably pre-booked) lunch or dinner. Perfect location, a 10-minute walk from the Rialto Bridge; a bit hidden, with no foot traffic. For red wine lovers, an Amarone tasting is a must. Otherwise, the wine selection is excellent and not too expensive. The food includes cichetti, excellent antipasti, and a selection of first and second courses. Top quality, with friendly and unobtrusive service. A definite recommendation.

10/02/2026: We had a glass of wine or two which we accompanied with a platter of cheeses and the traditional delicacies of Venice “cicchetti”. Everything was very tasteful and yummy 🤤 The music was what we wanted, too. Really recommend this wine bar!

19/03/2026: The pizza is actually very good, definitely one of the best in Venice (and Milan). I also found them to be reasonably priced, especially for Venice. The owners are very friendly. I would suggest offering a whole wheat option, at a higher price.

19/02/2026: To start and finish the bacari, this is the place to go. They serve the best cicchetti in Venice, and they're affordable! If you go to Venice, you absolutely have to stop here!

19/02/2026: For those arriving in Venice and looking to immediately enjoy an excellent Spritz accompanied by some delicious cicchetto (bread bites accompanied by cheese, fish, or cured meats, variously assorted and seasoned according to Venetian tradition), this bacaro is ideal: quality, cleanliness, and affordability (only one euro a cicchetto!). The owner, Sam, and the staff are incredibly kind and friendly, with a truly exceptional level of customer service, from tourists from all over the world to Venetian students. It's located in a beautiful square, overlooking a quiet canal just steps from Piazzale Roma. The four stars for the atmosphere are only because the place is very small and has no seating inside, but it's still charming and offers tables outside. Highly recommended!

31/01/2026: I went for a quick drink as a second round, but ended up eating a lot. The ham platter was generous and varied, and it was delicious. It was also nice to see a lot of locals enjoying themselves.

08/03/2026: As is often the case, there was a tout outside the restaurant… so we hesitated to go in. However, after reading the reviews, we took the plunge and it was a pleasant surprise (unlike two days earlier with another restaurant near San Marco). We ordered meat. The ribeye (medium cut) was excellent… the tagliata (sangum cut) was overcooked. Go figure :-)… but overall the seasoning was good, and so was the memory. Note: there is no cover charge, but a 12% service charge is added to the total bill.

07/03/2026: We just spent 8 days at Ai Mori d'Oriente and could not speak more positively about our experience. The rooms and common areas are all comfortable and keept immaculately clean. Ai Mori has something of the warm and cozy feel of a boutique hotel, despite the elegant decor. The staff could not have been more accommodating. They made us feel at home. The location is what I would like to underscore, above and beyond all the other positive values. Located in the Cannaregio district on a small canal, the hotel facilitated our immersion into a Venice I could not have imagined: morning and late evening walks with few people and no tourists on the streets. Iconic canal views without the hordes and their selfies. Venetian families walking their children to school in the morning. Children playing in the open "campi." If what you want is to roll out of your bed and descend into the masses streaming along the Strada Nova from the train station to Rialto and on to Saint Mark's this is not for you. If you want a quiet and beautiful setting, a window onto what is left of Venetian Venice and the peace that will allow you do reflect on all this, I highly recommend this hotel. One final note: this peace and beauty come with a tradeoff. You will need to walk 20-25 minutes or you will need to ride the vaporetto up and down the grand canal if you plan to visit the major tourist sites. Although this may not be optimal for all, for us, it was a plus. I was able to take zillions of pictures of Venice's major palaces and canal life and gained a fairly deep and broad knowledge of Venice's urban grid, geography, and architecture. And we heard a wonderful amount of Venetian dialect!

05/03/2026: Lovely hotel with amazing staff and affordable prices.It's in a quiet neighborhood with wonderful restaurants nearby, but a little far from the main attractions, which was nice because it allows for a quiet place to decompress. This was my second time staying here and would definitely come again. Close to Madonna sel' Orto stop on Alilaguna for access to airport, Murano, etc. staff organizes free trips to Murano for glass blowing experience.

01/02/2026: Hands down our favorite restaurant in Venice. Located in a locals neighborhood, this place was perfection from start to finish. The bread was the best we had in northern Italy, the scallops were the best we’ve ever eaten, and my pistachio pasta was unforgettable. My wife said the beef ravioli was the best she’s ever had. Dessert was mascarpone gelato with olive oil and nuts, which sounds simple but was extraordinary. Warm, thoughtful service and a relaxed, local atmosphere. This is a must if you want to experience Venice beyond the crowds!

09/03/2026: A truly delightful dinner. The kitchen employs some very talented young chefs, creating carefully crafted dishes with well-balanced flavors. We tried several dishes: fried octopus tentacles on a mustard and honey emulsion, Luciana-style red octopus on a chickpea cream and fried polenta crostini, a mix of local cuttlefish and grilled calamari with salad, and baked trout fillet on a pumpkin cream. Everything was truly excellent, generous portions, and great attention to food pairings. The initial welcome was also appreciated. The young woman in the dining room was very kind and discreet, with a smile that immediately put you at ease. We didn't try the desserts (maybe next time), perhaps a little more interaction or a more personalized service would have been appreciated. One area that could be improved is the wine list, which, given the quality of the cuisine, deserves a few more options and a wider variety. The atmosphere is pleasant, but I would like it to be a little warmer and more personalized, as it currently feels a bit sterile. That said, the prices are fair, the food is truly excellent, and there's great potential. With these foundations, it has all the makings of a truly top-notch restaurant. It's made me want to come back, and I will. 🍽️✨

04/03/2026: We went to Quantum last night for a 50th birthday party! Simply spectacular!! The staff were incredibly kind and knowledgeable! The atmosphere was welcoming and elegant! The food was excellent, from the presentation to the flavors! We were thrilled and left very satisfied!! Keep it up, guys, and even though you're very young, you have a great future ahead of you!!
