This is a review for Japanese travelers.
I stayed here for two nights while sightseeing in Venice.
It's a little far from the city center, but it was quiet and the location was great!
There were also local restaurants nearby, so finding dinner wasn't a problem.
I've stayed in Rome and Florence, but this hotel had a bathtub! I enjoyed a relaxing soak in the Japanese style for the first time in a while.
This time, we booked a standard room with a single bed for two people. The room was compact, but that was nice. The refrigerator was stocked with plenty of free drinks!
The bed wasn't the standard Japanese single size, but spacious enough for two people. Maybe a little bigger than a double?
The hotel staff were all very friendly, and I felt very comfortable during my stay. 😉
This time, I didn't book a breakfast-included plan, but
the breakfast seems popular and delicious!
There's a bar in front of the reception on the first floor, so you can enjoy drinks even late at night!
I visited in April, but I left the window open while sleeping, and a lot of large mosquitoes came in, so be sure to close the windows when you sleep.
You'll get bitten! (laughs)
To all the Japanese people looking for a hotel in Venice!!! I recommend this hotel~♪
If I ever come to Venice again, I would like to stay at this hotel again!
Ai Mori d’Oriente Hotel is an absolute gem. The room is beautifully decorated with the most comfortable bed and pillows. Our booking comes with a bottle of sparkling and unlike other hotels where they leave the bottle in your room, someone actually comes, opens, and pours for us. Bathroom is spacious and housekeeping team is very efficient. The bar serves great cocktails and nothing beats a great cocktail after a day walking around Venice. The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood with a short walk from the hustle and bustle of tourists. I have an amazing time here and wholeheartedly recommend it.

Unfortunately, there was major construction work going on when we arrived. Construction noise started shortly after seven... otherwise, a beautifully located hotel with excellent service.

I recommend it; the staff are very friendly, the location is quiet, 100m from bars and small restaurants, and not far from the vaporetto stop.

We had a wonderful stay throughout our stay.
A charming hotel, very clean and welcoming.
The staff is extremely professional and courteous.
The location couldn't have been better for us, away from the hustle and bustle of Stada Nova.

A lovely hotel with lots of charm (a former palace) and, above all, very well located, close to the train station and the vaporetto stop, away from the tourist crowds. Pleasant welcome, superior double room quite spacious but perhaps noisy if other guests aren't careful... Bottle of water every evening. Hearty breakfast, very good homemade pastries. We've been going here for four years.

We just spent 8 days at Ai Mori d'Oriente and could not speak more positively about our experience. The rooms and common areas are all comfortable and keept immaculately clean. Ai Mori has something of the warm and cozy feel of a boutique hotel, despite the elegant decor. The staff could not have been more accommodating. They made us feel at home. The location is what I would like to underscore, above and beyond all the other positive values. Located in the Cannaregio district on a small canal, the hotel facilitated our immersion into a Venice I could not have imagined: morning and late evening walks with few people and no tourists on the streets. Iconic canal views without the hordes and their selfies. Venetian families walking their children to school in the morning. Children playing in the open "campi." If what you want is to roll out of your bed and descend into the masses streaming along the Strada Nova from the train station to Rialto and on to Saint Mark's this is not for you. If you want a quiet and beautiful setting, a window onto what is left of Venetian Venice and the peace that will allow you do reflect on all this, I highly recommend this hotel. One final note: this peace and beauty come with a tradeoff. You will need to walk 20-25 minutes or you will need to ride the vaporetto up and down the grand canal if you plan to visit the major tourist sites. Although this may not be optimal for all, for us, it was a plus. I was able to take zillions of pictures of Venice's major palaces and canal life and gained a fairly deep and broad knowledge of Venice's urban grid, geography, and architecture. And we heard a wonderful amount of Venetian dialect!

Lovely hotel with amazing staff and affordable prices. It's in a quiet neighborhood with wonderful restaurants nearby, but a little far from the main attractions, which was nice because it allows for a quiet place to decompress. This was my second time staying here and would definitely come again. Close to Madonna sel' Orto stop on Alilaguna for access to airport, Murano, etc. staff organizes free trips to Murano for glass blowing experience.
