La Mela Verde is tucked away on a quiet street in Venice, and it definitely deserves your attention. The gelato is soft, smooth, and honestly the best I had while in Venice. The pistachio flavor tastes like real pistachio, not artificial at all, and you absolutely have to try it. I also loved the chocolate scoop. Highly recommend!

In 4 days in Venice we tried 8 ice cream shops. This one is definitely at the top of the list. The place by the very small narrow canal is cozy and the atmosphere is quite laid back.

09/04/2026: Being our first time in Venice, we couldn’t have chosen a better place. The staff was kind and welcoming. Every dish was delicious! Such a special way to start our trip.
09/04/2026: This is an excellent, typically Venetian restaurant. I ate there almost every evening of my holiday and can highly recommend it: appetizers, pizza, fish, pasta, dessert – everything is simply delicious and of very high quality! The fish dishes are especially good. Moreover, the prices are reasonable and not exorbitant like in the tourist areas. If you want to discover delicious Venetian cuisine: go here!

17/04/2026: If you're looking for delicious pizza, this is the place! They only offer takeout or delivery, but I couldn't wait and ate it right in front of the shop as soon as I picked it up because I wanted it fresh! The crust is crispy and the pizza is delicious. There's always a line of locals and people who've heard about it through word of mouth, so it's easy to spot. You line up to order, place your order, wait for it to be baked inside or outside the shop, and when it's ready, they'll call out your order. When they call yours, you pay and pick it up. Cards accepted.
11/04/2026: Excellent pizza. The “maxi” is very maxi, but worth every bite.
