Very good, ate very well I recommend everything, especially the gnocchi with cuttlefish ink, mixed fried vegetables, which are very good for you. Bread, wine, water, all good. Go if you have the chance to pass by, between the citadel and Fontaniva. Thanks to those who cook in the restaurants. 21st December, everyone ate very well............ and we'll be back next year too. 23/02/2025: After wanting to try this little place for a long time, we finally did! A cold evening walk and we'll arrive! Very nice, cozy, welcoming place with lots of well-displayed and very nice bottles of wine! Concise menu with different proposals from cod to Venetian-style liver to mixed cold cuts! Clearly an extensive wine list with some options by the glass! Really good food, perhaps slightly small portions, better to choose something more if you are hungry!! The dessert was super good! Very kind and attentive staff! The only thing I didn't appreciate were the really narrow seats, because it affects the customers' privacy! For the rest I absolutely recommend it if you want to have a quiet dinner in the centre! We will definitely be back!

10/03/2025: Restaurant where I now make a regular stop when I come to Padua. For the most part, in the 70s, it was “da Cavalca” (meeting place of “el Paron” aka Nereo Rocco). I limited myself to 3 Gillardeau Oysters; a baked sea bass and a Mont Blanc. Everything was perfect, as in the past. Last but not least the thoughtfulness and “complicity” of the dining room staff (Rita, Francesca and Luciano) whose precious suggestions are always that little something extra that makes you feel even better.

However, during this visit, the service was noticeably slower than usual. What is typically a comfortable 2.5-hour dining session stretched to 3.5 hours, which felt excessive. While I appreciate a relaxed pace, the long wait times between courses affected the overall flow of the meal. Despite this, the food and ambiance remain excellent, and I will return, hoping for a more balanced experience next time.

04/03/2025: I had the pleasure of having lunch at the Hostaria degli Anzoi in Montegrotto Terme and I must say that it was a truly pleasant experience. The restaurant has a welcoming atmosphere, with furnishings that recall the taverns of the past, creating a familiar and relaxed environment. The menu offers traditional Venetian dishes, prepared with fresh, quality ingredients. I tasted the creamed cod, which was creamy and tasty just right, and a dish of bigoli in sauce that brought back the authentic flavors of home cooking. The Amarone risotto is also excellent, perfectly balanced in flavours. The wine list is well stocked, with an interesting selection of local and national labels. The staff is kind and attentive, ready to recommend the best pairing for each dish. The homemade desserts are also a highlight: the tiramisu was soft and well balanced in flavours. In general, the Hostaria degli Anzoi is a place that I highly recommend to those looking for authentic cuisine, with excellent value for money and attentive service. Definitely a restaurant to return to!

Nothing to complain about the quality of the food but we had an unpleasant surprise that the price of the wine was much higher than that indicated on the wine list. There are few choices on the menu but the dishes are really good.
