06/04/2024: Being close to Padua means finding time and going for ice cream.. Not ordinary, but the best Italian gelato 😋 It's my subjective opinion, not everyone may agree with me, but I haven't eaten better gelato 🥰 There is a nice staff, you can also pay by card, it is clean and they do it quickly... And you take it with you to the beautiful square... Such a "pile" in a cup costs €5... it's really a lot... yum 😋 Go! Good taste 😋

31/03/2024: Two of us returned last night, after a period of a few months. As always we had a good time. A nice atmosphere, kindness and professionalism of the service carried out impeccably by the entirely foreign staff starting from the Metre. Varied menu, well studied and excellently executed. Account perfectly in line. They are a certainty in Padua.

01/03/2024: Very cozy and welcoming place. Nice cocktail menu, from classics to local proposals. Friendly and prepared staff. The ability to customize drink recipes was particularly appreciated. Honest prices for the super product served. Summary: recommended!

02/04/2024: Excellent quality of raw materials, friendly and helpful staff. Also perfect for those who don't eat meat or fish. They were very kind: we entered the restaurant by chance on the closing day and they welcomed us warmly the following day. Refined and well-studied combinations. If we return to Padua again we will definitely return. Recommended for those who want to eat both local food and for those with a good palate. My favorites were the second course, aubergine parmigiana with burrata cream and the spice tiramisu (I went a few months ago, but I still dream about it).

31/03/2024: The gnocchi with clams and truffles was one of the best dishes I have ever eaten. All the other dishes we tried were also outstandingly good. Absolute recommendation, the ladies who run the restaurant were also very nice and attentive.

02/04/2024: Perhaps the best place in Padua to eat fish dishes (without leaving your feathers - or rather your bones). The service is elegant in an environment that is ultimately informal, so you appreciate the simplicity but at the same time the attention to the customer and the refinement of the dishes. The honest account.

29/03/2024: We went yesterday and had the best dinner. We were looking for a place to eat fish and this places was an absolute win! We had the octopus and the scallops as starters. Loved both! The octopus was my favorite.. perfectly cooked, flavours were incredible. After this we did only a one dish each: I had the sgaghetti outside the menu with lobster and white sparragus and my husband had the tortelli. So good! We had a lovely white wine with it. The staff was so nice! So attentive as well. Even though the place was busy, they took the time to explain the dishes and the wine. They were lovely. This place asbolutely deserves a visit!

31/03/2024: Ricorreva il compleanno di mia moglie e la mia ricerca era orientata ad un locale tranquillo, che creasse una giusta atmosfera. Ho scoperto il "Sò Rivà" per la prima volta ed ha risposto a tutte le mie aspettative; ottimo ambiente per parlare con i propri commensali, cibo ricercato e particolare, ma molto gustoso, ottimo il servizio.

17/03/2024: Good Osteria discovered almost by chance on a Saturday for lunch... varied menu, good and well prepared food, nice interior. Excellent quality/price ratio... and they were really generous with the pasta with clams. The other dishes seen coming out of the kitchen were also beautiful. Convenient parking.

31/03/2024: Excellent food, all very good. The meat and vegetable lasagne are highly recommended. The cod tower is a spectacle both in taste and in idea 😛. Delicious desserts too. (Only thing service was sometimes a little inattentive).

01/04/2024: Unfortunately, yes they say “All that glitters is not gold” To those who are interested and want to choose the location for their restaurant evening, I share my experience 03/31/2024 Calculation / estimate of the a la carte order made by my sister for Easter 2024, based on the prices on the restaurant website: 1 scallop (canapé): €6.5/7 (estimated/equivalent to the cost of an oyster as per the online menu) Pure scampi: €24 Risotto di go, asparagus, schie: €26 (average cost of the first courses as per the website) Snapper slice: €29 (estimated/equivalent to the cost of San Pietro as per the menu) Total: €86 All shared with my mother But a note at the bottom of the page on the à la carte menu for Easter said: minimum 2 courses =€58 Therefore the above order was taken into account as 58x2=116-86=30€ Delta with the one actually ordered. Of course we should have asked for explanations before, but although we had pointed out to the staff that my 92 year old mother would have tasted/shared with her daughter since she was not able to eat the complete Easter menu, they did not advise us how to order, for example: 3 menus of Easter being 4, which would still have led to a fairer bill. Furthermore : -It is not accessible for wheelchairs -Biblical waiting times. Entered at 1.15pm, exited at 4.30pm. No one apologized for the wait or at least offered coffee and/or bitters as a friendly gesture for the customer. Small portions for their cost Poorly cooked risotto from the 2 Easter menus. Errors in the flow rates. We repeated the à la carte menu order 3 times to the staff: 1. verbally to the room manager 2. The manager came back 3 minutes later to ask us for it and write it on the pad 3. The manager then requested it verbally for her safety The staff was asked several times what stage the order was at because after an hour they had brought 3 mini appetizers and my 92 year old mother still had nothing because they had decided that she had to wait for the first courses to come out for everyone. Note that 1. the mini appetizers were short-lived, 1':30 max to eat them 2. It is also well known that for the elderly it is necessary to respect the physiological times and times of the digestive processes. So it is clear that the right attention and common sense was not given towards the customer, I feel very sorry for my parents who wanted to spend Easter at the family table with good food which turned out to be normal/decent and not up to par. of the environment that offered an important culinary experience. At the end of the meal my 92 year old father wanted to pay immediately as he couldn't wait to leave. And under his pressure and due to my mother's situation, exhausted and annoyed by everything, I interrupted the conversation with the manager to whom I pointed out the various inconsistencies. Happy Easter . Easter whispers to us that, after the storm, the calm is always brighter.
