17/02/2026: During a quick visit to the beautiful city of Padua, this restaurant located along the river was recommended to us. The restaurant is well-decorated, with a beautiful window overlooking the river. The restrooms were spotless, despite our late reservation. The staff was very friendly and helpful; the service was a bit slow, but we had lunch the day after Valentine's Day, after a busy evening, so this review isn't indicative of the standard. As for the food, our choices met our expectations. Prices are clearly highlighted on the menu. The portions are reasonable, not overly generous, but sufficient for a decent meal. We ordered two appetizers for four of us to share: Venetian-style chicken in saor (photo 1) and pizzaiola-style fried burrata (photo 2), both excellent. The chicken was truly delicate and tasty, and the burrata was beautifully fried. For the main course: two braised beef dishes on soft polenta (photo 3), a sliced ​​beef (photo 4), and a sausage and cabbage pie with Morlacco cheese (photo 5), the latter actually found among the first courses. All the choices met our expectations: the braised beef was incredibly tender. To top it off, two tiramisu del nonno and some cream-filled biscuits. Total cost with bread, service charge, and four bottles of water: €157.50.

Even the less common combinations are always spot on! The service stands out for its knowledge, expertise, and friendliness. The atmosphere is that of a classic/traditional pizzeria, but the menu maintains a fresh and contemporary feel.

14/04/2026: This tapas bar is small with 2 tables of 6 and two for 2-3 people. The tapas are displayed in glass cases, and they also make 150 gr small pizzas. They have an English menu and communicate well in English. The regular tapas are €1.5 each and the small pizza starts at €5. They have beer on tap and a full bar service. One clean washroom which is even equipped for handicapped people. 4 tapas, a draft beer and a small pizza cost €17. A nice place with tasty tapas.

10/04/2026: The best tartare I've ever had!!! We had the Vecia Padova and went back for it the next day aswell. Such a good combination of flavors, it's a good idea to get the set with a drink and tartar. If you like tartare, than this place is definitely a must-visit!
