29/05/2025: We organized the lunch to celebrate dad/grandpa's 90th birthday. It was a surprise and it was a perfect success also with the complicity of the waiter who acted like an actor. They were available for everything, from guests with special dietary needs, they are organized for celiacs, vegetarians and vegans. They also welcomed our furry friends without any problems. They even prepared the dessert with candles 9 and 0 and best wishes. Last but not least we were also allowed to use the maxi confetti shooters for the final bang. Perfect and complete hospitality. The food was delicious, the wine too, the service excellent. thanks for everything and for everything. If we return to these parts we will certainly come to lunch at your place.

26/05/2025: Pranzo di famiglia per 16. Molto bene accolti. Andrea, giovane ma esperto e cordiale, assieme allo staff, ha assecondato le nostre richieste di festeggiamento, sempre sorridente. Il menù ampio a saputo accontentare tutti e, anche se non certificato, ha gestito egregiamente e con professionalità, il menù senza glutine.

02/06/2025: We stayed for three days in this beautiful place, we ate really well, a cuisine made with attention to detail and excellent quality, the rooms were wonderful, clean and functional, the breakfast was excellent with local products, all the staff were very kind! We really had a great time, we will be back in September!

26/05/2025: Nice spot for some cicchetti on Murano. On the main drag so it’s easily accessible. At 2.50€ per cicchetto it’s an affordable option and a great way to taste a few different flavors. The spritz’s were also good and the place offered a unique rustic feel. Staff were also very pleasant.

18/04/2025: Magnificent location in an oasis of peace among the Veronese valleys. The Prestige room is large and equipped with everything you need for a true retreat. The rich and abundant breakfast with local and natural products to support local producers. The Tasting Menu dinner, 6-7 courses, is a sensorial experience of the highest level. The Amarone Experience tasting, with 5 wines from different vintages, is an exciting discovery that lets you savor real high-quality wine. Impeccable cuisine, very kind and extremely professional staff. The location is wonderful and evocative with a view of the Veronese hills and the Po Valley. Possibility to visit the cellar and see the entire production process. Only flaw: leaving.

04/06/2025: I always choose places based on reviews, mine is severe because, apart from the cut requested medium rare, which unfortunately arrived overcooked, I practically smoked passively because both from the smokers positioned at the entrance and from some customers at the tables I could hear smoke, I hope that in all public places, even outdoors, smoking is banned as it already happens in some municipalities, smokers are unfortunately rude even if there are children at the tables, in any case it is a decision that the owner can make independently.

01/06/2025: Trattoria that offers restaurant-style cuisine and service or a restaurant that offers traditional trattoria-style dishes? Definitely a classy place. Catapulted into a family environment, we were greeted with a smile and accompanied to the table with courtesy. White-glove treatment. The staff "moves" with perfect synchronicity, in an environment where I immediately felt at home. A quick look at the environment. It is not a restaurant for vegans and despite the evening dedicated to truffles, I saw "pass" raw cuts of meat to please the most demanding palates, being able to notice the quality and taste it cooked "rare". You have time to look around and in the uncertainty of the choice, you are advised without ulterior motives. I was able to appreciate the vast offer of wines. Meat-based dinner, we tasted a Pinot della Val di Cembra, a Nero d'Avola and finally a native red, wines that accompanied, with wisdom, the dishes tasted, without problems from bisulphites, therefore "clear" head. The menu? Here the first courses are second to none and when I saw the very abundant grating of truffle on a "first course", I realized that stinginess is not at home here. I will only add: a wide choice, depending on what the season offers, with products of guaranteed quality. Suitable for families who have already developed the pleasure of discovering taste, but also for carrying out work projects, for dinners for couples or for celebrating important events. Nothing is improvised and you can see an experience that has its roots in time and with wise tradition. Certainly not a place suitable for a quick meal because here, you enjoy. We did not try the desserts, we were already full and too satisfied. No digestive, there was no need, a quiet night and waking up like a holiday. Well done!

30/05/2025: Ogni volta che passiamo da Verona, "al Pompiere " è per noi una tappa d'obbligo.Il ristorante si trova a due passi da piazza delle Erbe ma in una viuzza latrerale non percorsa dalle fiumane di turisti che riempiono la città in qualsiasi stagione dell'anno. All'interno l'atmosfera è calda e accogliente, in qualsiasi periodo dell'anno. Il personale attento e gentilissimo, i tempi d'attesa non eccessivi anche quando il locale è pieno. Questa sera abbiamo scelto un antipasto di asparagi bianchi e verdi con frittatina, una crema di piselli con taccole a dir poco favolosa e un piatto di gnocchi con finferli. Quindi siamo passati direttamente al dessert e abbiamo preso un semifreddo all'amaretto su zabaione al Vinsanto e polvere di caffè, anche questa superlativa. Complimenti allo chef per tutto, con un piccolo appunto agli gnocchi dove l'eccesso di burro copriva quasi del tutto il sapore dei finferli. A parte questo, il ristorante "al Pompiere" si rivela sempre un'ottima scelta. Prezzi piuttosto sostenuti ma in linea con la qualità.

13/05/2025: Mi capita spesso di andare a mangiare con la famiglia o con amici. Pizze buone e anche la frittura di pesce. Bel locale ma se per sbaglio alzi gli occhi, ti accorgi della sporcizia che regna nei climatizzatori appesi alle pareti. Non oso pensare ai batteri che regnano in quei filtri zozzi! Penso che tornerò solo quando potrò mangiare in giardino!

24/04/2025: Ottimo ristorante pizzeria. Eccellente qualità dei prodotti, le pizze eccezionali, con impasti leggerissimi e molto digeribili, gli hamburger deliziosi e i piatti di pesce più che ottimi. Questa sera ho scelto la pizza con asparagi freschi, gorgonzola e porri...deliziosa!!! Insomma se voglio mangiare bene vengo sempre qui. Una menzione speciale al personale tutto. Simpatici, educatissimi e molto preparati. Consiglio vivamente questo locale

31/05/2025: Lived up to the recommendations! The food is soo fresh and creative, I enjoyed all of it! I booked this a two weeks in advance and could only get a lunch time so book early! I had the beetroot ravioli - it was perfect summer lunch dish. It was fresh with the poppy seeds and light. I also got the hummus with local vegetables, also good, I was surprised the vegetables were still hot but good nonetheless

29/05/2025: As a Veronese, one of the best taverns in Verona! The atmosphere, the staff and the food make me breathe an authentic and no-frills city. It is a place of the heart, sincere.

27/05/2025: Very friendly local atmosphere, the waitresses are very nice. We tried the herring pasta and the cod with polenta, it was excellent. The tiramisu is perfect and the pistachio cream on the panna cotta is delicious! The prices are reasonable for the quality.

11/05/2025: Ottima esperienza, cibo a livello della positiva nomea di cui il locale gode. Prodotti tipici della cucina pugliese. Buona la carta dei vini. Locale senz’altro da rifrequentare.
