The fish menu is ideal for getting a taste of two Venetian specialties: black pasta with cuttlefish and polenta with cod cream. The place is small and cozy, and the staff are friendly. The location is good, but not particularly attractive.

14/07/2025: "Il Mangiabottoni" was a pleasant discovery! A somewhat hidden osteria, but located in a beautiful setting.
Exceptional dishes (I can't describe the veal tartare with brioche bread... out of this world!), excellent service, and a very elegant location.
Average prices.
Definitely worth a visit!

The pizza specialty, the wonderful management... we had a great time, not just great! Highly recommended!!

04/03/2026: Amazing food, wonderful hospitality, extremely friendly and skilled staff… The most delicious and enjoyable meal we had in Venice. Bruschetta, carbonara spaghetti, five-cheese pizza, apple-sliced baby arugula and parmesan salad, and a lovely wine. Definitely recommended.
