30/03/2025: 30/03/25 Un piccolo angolo nascosto a Masi di Cavalese in val di fiemme dove riscontri sapori e profumi genuini in un atmosfera famigliare. In questo posticino con 4 tavoli in legno la trota e il salmerino sono i protagonisti,allevati nella troticoltura adiacente , cucinati e presentati magistralmente in vari modi. I proprietari persone affabili e genuine e il prezzo a mio parere onesto. Mauro D.

11/06/2025: Siamo passati in bici ed era l'unico esercizio aperto. Abbiamo ordinato due toast pessimi e due coca cola e speso 19 euro...non ci torneremo mai più

31/03/2025: Place where I go every now and then. The last time I have to say I was a bit disappointed. Perfect setting. Good service. But there are some flaws regarding the food. Potato tortel not perfect. Raw roasted potatoes. Frosty strudel and vanilla sauce that was a mix of gelatin and tile glue. I will return because I have always been super happy. It seems likely that they had a defect..... Then I entered the room in the rain... Exit in the snow.... Amazing

09/06/2025: An absolute recommendation. The service is first-class. The food, whether steak, venison, chicken skewers, dessert, or grappa, is all excellent. And the ambiance is a dream for music fans.

18/05/2025: Nice place to stop if you are passing through, very typical and well furnished, lots of choice on what to consume, from aperitif to ice cream from pastries to savoury, at lunch also first courses available, aperitif accompanied by pieces of focaccia or pizza, very good brioche with ice cream, for what the area offers the price is perhaps a little higher but it is worth it

05/06/2025: Unfortunately, compared to numerous previous visits, the house specialty "carne salà" was not up to expectations, the raw one was flavorless and consequently the cooked one was also a bit burnt, too bad, I just hope I had a bad day.

17/05/2025: We didn't stay there overnight, so I can't comment on the rooms or hotel service. But we went to the restaurant for dinner and were served a very poor meal: the pork knuckle and trout fillet were dry on the inside, presumably reheated... the knuckle was burnt on the outside, a horrible gelatinous sauce, dry fried potatoes, and completely tasteless vegetables with a spice mix poured over them... I ate a maximum of 1/4 of the pork knuckle, my partner 1/2 portion of the trout... in the end, including two drinks, a salad, and two espressos, we paid €65... at least we were offered a grappa, which was absolutely necessary to digest the disgusting food... never ever! I've known the hotel for over 30 years, visiting it regularly, sometimes twice a year. It's situated in a stunning location with a view of Lake Garda and Monte Baldo. For cyclists or hikers who just want a drink, I highly recommend sitting on the terrace. It's best to leave the food alone! It's a shame! The current tenants definitely don't have a good kitchen!

30/05/2025: We arrived by chance and late at night, they welcomed us right away with great kindness, beautiful garden, with a lake view. We ordered spatzle, a trout and an entrecote, generous portions, everything very good!! Very welcoming and kind even with our big dog, excellent quality/price ratio, highly recommended!!

09/04/2025: A nice place to eat with friends or family. The price is good. The portions are not huge, but everything is served with rice. We got 3 main dishes and 1 starter with garlic bread and the bill came to £55. Not the best Indian restaurant, but it was acceptable. The dishes tasted a bit similar. The service was really friendly.

03/06/2025: A real gem in the center of Trento! At Osteria al Gatto Gordo you are welcomed with impeccable service and a sincere smile. The potato tortel is amazing: crunchy, tasty, served with quality local ingredients. An experience that warms the heart and the palate. Not to be missed! To return and to recommend !!!

02/06/2025: Very dark place..! We ordered the all you can eat tortel, the South Tyrolean one, and a beer sausage...! Everything arrived cold and yet the place wasn't full...the tortel was very greasy and as mentioned practically cold...! Salami and cheeses, nothing particularly refined...! The vegetables were completely unseasoned. To be honest, a bad experience, another rip-off by Tik Tok that advertises this place as if it were an oasis in the desert... I don't recommend it.

07/05/2025: Bisogna avere un po' di pazienza nell'aspettare i piatti, ma ne vale veramente la pena. Anche il loro vino rosso sfuso è ottimo così come l'olio che producono. Pane buonissimo. Abbiamo mangiato divinamente e il prezzo era onesto. Appena riesco ci ritorno!!

23/04/2025: Small place but so much stuff! Polite, approachable and very friendly staff. Food 100!!! All really very good!!! The crostini with lard... The cold cuts... The carne salada... The beans... The giardiniera prepared with spectacular courgettes... The mini tortels!!! The dumplings were good but the barley, radicchio and teroldego were mouth-watering! Then cut, very soft ribs, wow braised meat and polenta! To finish, bread cake and panna cotta with strawberry jam... A unique satisfaction for the palate and the aromas 😍😍😍
