03/11/2024: Sehr persönliche Begegnung. Die Speisekarte hat viel Auswahl und das Essen war köstlich. Das Ambiente ist sehr einfach und nicht so heimelig.

27/09/2024: Pizza un po' deludente. Magari sono abituato troppo bene con la pizza classica napoletana. Comunque, un posto caratteristico dove fermarsi. Un po' cari i prezzi.

13/08/2024: A culinary feast. The restaurant is located on the patio of a historic monastery. Very atmospheric place, live music on weekends. Great pasta - cooked on time, great additions. Both the pasta with shrimp and truffle are delicious. The second course was equally good. Perfectly fried meat, soft octopus. Great wine recommendations. Desserts also very good. A perfect place for a romantic dinner, very atmospheric. There is a large parking lot on site. Efficient and friendly service. It's definitely worth planning dinner here

12/01/2025: Un piacere ritornare a distanza di un anno e trovare un'ospitalità se possibile ancora più calorosa. Ci hanno aspettato nonostante fosse un po' tardi, offerto dadini di polenta di ceci mentre aspettavamo i primi (buonissimi!) e biscotti assortiti con il caffè, ma soprattutto si percepisce un autentico piacere ad avere ospiti e metterli a proprio agio. Prezzi giusti se non bassi rispetto alla qualità di quanto offerto.

01/10/2024: Eine einfache Fattoria mit kleiner Karte; was angeboten wird, ist jedoch sehr,sehr lecker. Bruschetta für 4,50 Euro, die Ravioli in Salbeibutter traumhaft lecker (16,00), die Maltagliati con Cacio e Pepe (12,00 Euro) vorzüglich, der Vino della Casa (3,00 weiß, 4,00 rot) ansprechend. Man lebt und schlemmt sehr gut dort.

30/07/2024: Ottima location, cucina curata , servizio cortese . Molto particolare cenare in una corte interna, completamente in ombra, e non rumorosa

27/07/2024: Le restaurant Il Fondo fait partie intégrante du magnifique site historique de Abbadia Sicile qui comprend également un hôtel et l'église Santa Maria. Si la salle du restaurant est très pittoresque (mis à part les horribles caissons de clim), nous sommes restés quelque peu sur notre faim pour ce qui est de nos plats qui manquaient singulièrement de goûts et de saveurs...quant au dessert Tre noccioline il est peut-être original mais très mal présenté. Carte des vins correcte, service correct mais qui a été complètement dépassé par un groupe de clients chinois totalement ingérables, mal éduqués et ambassadeurs minables de leur pays.

06/04/2024: Il locale offre solo salumi e formaggi, non c'e un menu coi prezzi. Locale spartano, un po stile mini market e "dall'aria vuota", in vendita qualche prodotto locale. Posti a sedere all'aperto scarsi, l'interno da rivedere. Tempi d'attesa lunghi. Tagliere ottimo con prosciutto, coppa, salame e formaggi. Accettabili i crostini

25/09/2023: I keep a small card of this restaurant in my wallet for four years, only when I open it, to remember that special place of my honeymoon. Whenever someone asks me how my trip to Italy was, my first memory is not Rome or Venice. I always remember that night in Siena, that special place where I experienced the best meal of my life. The way my wife and I were treated, the special moments we had there. So when I recommend Vineria Il Murello to someone (and I do that a lot), I recommend not just a special meal, but an amazing experience. I look forward to coming back soon for another unforgettable night.

06/03/2024: This restaurant is no more than a handful of tables located outdoors in a tiny piazza off Via Dei Montanini, a stone's trow from the Piazza de Campo. At first glance, it looked charming enough. But looks can be deceiving. We didn't make dinner reservations for the evening of our arrival in Siena - a busy Saturday in September. Everywhere we called was fully booked. Except this restaurant. That in itself should have been big red flag. The weather was unseasonably warm, so an outdoor terrace seems like a great idea. In fact the ambiance is quite charming. But the food... oh my! The menu is very simple and contains Tuscan classics. It was presented to us on a grimy sheet of paper. No more than a handful of dishes. And rather overpriced as others have noted. We had the Bruchetta, Tagliatelle alla cinghiale, and veal piccatta. The food was horrible. So was the service. And the bill was as bad as the rest. Disappointing.
