31/01/2026: Terrible experience. Waiters under pressure, clearly nervous, and treated unpleasantly by their superiors in front of customers, creating an awkward and unprofessional atmosphere. Prices were decidedly excessive for a quality that didn't even begin to live up to the hype. Money wasted. Never again.

15/12/2025: I stopped for lunch. The fixed-price lunch was €15. All-inclusive: cover charge, first course, second course, and water. I ate well and quickly. I was able to choose from 6 different first courses and 6 different second courses. The snack bar shares access with the bar. It's accessed via a short corridor with two coin-operated machines. The restroom is large and wheelchair-friendly. The restaurant is located entirely on the ground floor.

15/07/2025: Excellent pizza, very well topped, both gluten-free and gluten-free. Excellent attention to intolerances. Fast and courteous service. The outdoor seating area is a great idea for the summer months; it's simple and well-maintained. P.S.: It's wonderful to see such a young and knowledgeable staff. If you really have to find a flaw, there are few lactose-free dessert options.

21/12/2025: A simple but clean and welcoming place. Excellent service. The tuna, egg, and mayo sandwich in its soft bread is sublime. And don't even get me started on the pastries and viennoiseries... The puff pastry of the turnovers is perfectly crisp and beautifully caramelized. The brioche croissant is worthy of the finest French brioches. Don't hesitate to make the detour if you're nearby or on the highway; it's well worth it. I did, and I don't regret it.

20/11/2025: A fantastic little village restaurant, exactly as it should be, where you feel free to pop in even for a glass of water. The display case is stocked with savory delicacies and excellent pizza by the slice. A kind and courteous lady at the counter. Plenty of seats and tables available, convenient parking. Excellent!!

01/09/2025: Great selection of pizzas at very reasonable prices! And exquisite homemade mille-feuille! The welcome and service were excellent... just one small drawback: the Italians, especially the Tuscans, tend to speak very loudly (though their accent is quite pleasant). Luckily, it's quieter when they're eating!

15/01/2026: Wonderful food, impeccable service, a very beautiful and intimate atmosphere. A little chilly in the winter a couple of times, otherwise, 5 stars. Fish specialties, but everything else is excellent. A must-try in the center of Montecatini Terme.

13/03/2026: The hotel offers various types of rooms; some have recently been renovated, while others haven't. They have a stylistic issue (personal taste), which is too dark. They should reconsider the placement of the outlets and switches; there should be outlets on both sides of the bed, but that's not the case. Cleanliness could be improved; it's excellent, but sometimes it's lacking in details. The pillows are awful... and the comfort of the bed could be improved as well. The breakfast is sad, very much like a wholesale hotel. As much as I appreciate environmental sustainability, I didn't find the breakfast to be good. The staff is very kind and helpful. The hotel is close to the center with ample parking. The rooms are poorly soundproofed; you can hear everyone upstairs and downstairs.

11/03/2026: The Tuscan Estate Hotel is conveniently located near the Tintira Estate vineyards and olive groves, as well as the Pigspic Winery. The estate has an outdoor swimming pool, perfect for swimmers to stretch and relax. The estate serves delicious local and international cuisine, available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I stayed here on my first night in Italy. Since it was quite late, I quickly unpacked, rested, and fell asleep. The bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was plentiful.

06/01/2026: We stayed three nights at Camping Il Pinguino in our campervan to visit the slopes of Abetone and Val di Luce. The owner, Umberto, is incredibly thoughtful and kind. He made himself available even before our departure. He provided us with detailed instructions on how to get to the campsite and even met us, alerting the nearby pizzeria of our late arrival. The restrooms are spotless, the showers are hot, and the bathroom is heated. It's a quiet place and perfectly located for reaching the slopes by car. It's located 800 meters from a hotel/restaurant/bar/grocery store where we had breakfast, a packed lunch, and a very decent dinner. The restaurant/pizzeria on the road above the campsite also offers a satisfying dinner with excellent service and good wine at very reasonable prices. In short, we couldn't have asked for more.

12/01/2026: The best of the best. Food as a sensory gratification of all the senses: visual, gustatory, olfactory. Quality at its highest level. If you can think of something to eat, they definitely have it, but be careful, they have better than you might think, the best. GO THERE NOW and you won't be able to do without it. Remember, Lunardi is a style of eating, not just any shop.
