01/12/2025: Ok, good products, small environment, average service. Maybe a little expensive, especially the €2.50 cover charge, which seems excessive for the location.

19/11/2025: An evening spent with family at this pizzeria that blew me away with the good food—in fact, excellent! I wanted to try the pumpkin and caper pizza! Wow, what a contrast of flavors, I dare say SUBLIME! YOU HAVE TO TRY IT TO BELIEVE IT.

01/11/2025: We've known Fulvio, the master waiter and excellent host, for 17 years; the legendary Chef Alessandro (a 5-star in my opinion); and the superb waitresses AnnaLisa and Fiorella. A team of competent and kind people, not to mention incredibly friendly. Highly recommended.

28/10/2025: Lunch with a group of colleagues, choosing from a quality set menu: cheese lasagna, pork loin with Montecarlo red beans, and cantuccini with vin santo. Served by very friendly and approachable staff. I recommend a visit.

06/12/2025: Poor breakfast pastries, a completely incompetent counter assistant, burnt coffee, and a horrible cappuccino. An incredible disappointment.

05/11/2025: Arriving at the entrance, I'm pleased to see a sign thanking all the customers who have frequented the restaurant over the years, allowing the owners to continue their passion for the restaurant business. We came for a fixed-price business lunch, so there are several dishes to choose from, and honestly, there's a wide selection of first and second courses. The welcome is very warm and friendly. Tables are clean and linens are provided, and wine glasses are provided. Bruschetta was served while you wait. I ordered penne with porcini mushrooms and grilled chicken with beans. I promise I'll return for an à la carte lunch. Recommended!

29/10/2025: I've rarely eaten so badly. Unfortunately, today there was no à la carte menu, but rather a set menu. We were there with four adults and five children, and the children ate practically nothing. The other adults were also very dissatisfied with the food. The prices, however, were completely unreasonable; the supposed hidden gem ended in a financial disaster and, ultimately, hungry children. A small addendum to my reply: We weren't invited; we paid ourselves, and none of the nine of us were satisfied. The children didn't eat anything but were charged in full without a second thought. Our request to prepare even a small dish for the children was refused. If you're describing the menu so positively, you yourself must realize that it's absolutely not child-friendly. Referencing our German specialties in this way is not only extremely poor but also, in part, racist. It speaks volumes about the awful character of your establishment and of you personally. If I could give zero stars, I would.

13/10/2025: This location is highly recommended. Yes, it's not a 5-star hotel, but from this location, all of Tuscany and more are within easy reach. Everything you need for a stay is provided and more than adequate. The hospitality, however, is 5+ stars. The staff is extremely helpful, and the food is truly fantastic. Driving up the mountain takes some getting used to if you're not used to Italian cuisine ;) We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return on our next visit to Italy.

09/10/2025: Stopped by for a motorcycle break. Even if it was just for a sandwich and a glass of wine, I loved both the ambiance inside and the sunny outdoor seating. I'll definitely be back to try their food. Very kind people.

03/09/2025: A truly positive experience, with excellent traditional food and a great selection of wines. I discovered it by chance a few years ago while riding my motorcycle. I'd made a note of it and will happily return in a few days!

29/10/2025: A wonderful café in the historic center with indoor and outdoor seating, nestled in a small courtyard. The ladies who run it are superb, incredibly kind, and attentive to every detail. It feels like stepping into a fairytale; the decor, the dishes, and the atmosphere are simply unique. Not to mention the food... for breakfast, you can find delicious homemade cakes, bread, butter, and jam, yogurt with cereal and fruit, and homemade schiacciata. For lunch, it's always home-cooked food, both to eat in and take out. In short: it feels like home!

25/10/2025: Dear readers, the best opportunities are often those we least expect. While on a business trip to Pistoia, our hosts introduced us to a superb restaurant. Located a stone's throw from Pistoia train station, Carradossi is a restaurant for connoisseurs. Home-style cooking, quality produce, fresh pasta, and a focus on seafood and fish. Everything I love 💕. So, more than just a tip, I'd say it's a must-visit if you're passing through Pistoia.

27/07/2025: Moeder en dochter doen dit puur uit liefde voor het vak. Moeder als kok en dochter als bediende, op persoonlijk niveau. De pasta carbonara was buitengewoon lekker, terwijl ik een regelmatiger carbonara-eter ben. Nog nooit zo lekker gegeten en heel authentieke ervaring zonder toeristische focus. Ook veel locals komen hier eten als vaste klanten. Warme sfeer, echte aanrader!

25/07/2025: Si quieres una experiencia gastronómica Italiano tradicional en la Toscana entonces ven aquí. Sí IT es un servicio lento, ya que solo hay nonna cocina en el ITchen y un servidor (la hija), pero es fabuloso. Tómate tu tiempo y disfruta del ambiente, nos encantó IT. La pasta gf estaba genial, el filete estaba tan tierno y el vino precioso, la crema de caramelo era la mejor que he probado. Disfruta del ritmo, IT es más lento pero relájate y sigue la corriente. Nos encantó IT y hemos reservado para volver!

03/11/2025: I called because I couldn't find the "forks" option when ordering takeout through an app. I called and they kindly explained how to request them. When the food arrived, there were no forks, only chopsticks, and even one less than the number of us. But that's just the beginning! They completely misread the ingredients for the poke, and when I double-checked the receipt, it was their mistake. They mixed up the ingredients in our poke multiple times, mixing up ingredients that, being undesirable, caused quite a bit of inconvenience. The rice was also particularly undercooked, and the tuna didn't seem to be of great quality. A huge disappointment and a ruined dinner. Never again!

15/09/2025: I went with my mom to celebrate my birthday and the experience was disappointing. No one welcomed us, waiters were rushing around, and when we asked for a table one just said “no no” because we didn’t have a reservation—without even checking. We had to find someone else ourselves to finally get seated without asking for reservation. Service was chaotic, with too many waiters running around. The food was good—ravioli and spaghetti nice (though the carbonara was sticky), Caesar salad surprisingly tasty, and the olive oil outstanding. Sadly, everything else ruined it. At the end, we wanted to light my cake and take a photo. Waiters ignored us, and when a kind server tried to help, security stopped him. No candle, no photo, just stress and unfriendly staff. Good food and interior, but terrible service. Not a place to celebrate anything special.

01/10/2025: The atmosphere is intimate, clean, and incredibly welcoming. The chef pours all his passion into every dish he prepares. Definitely worth returning to.
