Excellent ingredients, simple but expertly cooked..... generous and diversified portions.....
the quality of the beef steak deserves a separate description, because even if it wasn't a Florentine cut and even if it wasn't Chianina meat it was nothing short of excellent....., and even if it was lean it was extremely tasty and very tender (according to the true we liked it even more than a Florentine that we had tasted the previous evenings and which was certainly of excellent quality)
Low prices compared to the quality offered......desserts, to say the least, varied and of a homemade nature......
Last but not least the courtesy of all the staff present.....

Noi siamo stati di sera ma è sicuramente un ottimo posto anche per trascorrere la giornata.
Ottima cucina toscana, dagli antipasti alla pasta, fino alla fiorentina con i porcini fritti e i fagioli in ampolla...le foto parlano da sole...
Anche se un poco fuori mano consigliamo una visita...

30/03/2024: We stopped just for a short break in the early afternoon.... Two desserts and a soft drink 23 euros... exaggerated and above all inappropriate. All served without even a paper napkin.....but at least we weren't charged a cover charge

The strong point are the exclusively Tuscan cured meats and cheeses
The staff were very kind and if Gino wasn't there he would have to be invented.

The Schiacciata and the Porchetta are excellent!! The cured meats and cheeses displayed in the window are also excellent, I bought some to take home and I was satisfied!! Truly honest prices, in line with the quality of the products.
Advised.
10/11/2023: Historic meeting point at the beginning of the Valleriana. First choice products, accompanied by bread from the adjacent Pietrabuona bakery. Highly recommended..

Yesterday my son and my partner sat for a moment on the benches outside the restaurant, during the market. A lady immediately came out and made them stand up. There was no one sitting it was 10 in the morning.
I told my 2 year old son that he had to get up because he is from the ice cream shop, then my son said he wanted ice cream, I told him ok okay let's go to the Baracchina though
Congratulations to the lady for her foresight, we got the ice cream at the Baracchina
