The cheese starter was perhaps a little sparse but good, and the chicken cutlet for the second course. The service was also good.

The place and the staff are lovely, the food is authentic Tuscan with a wide selection of meats, as you might imagine from the name... Piazza del Sale, we discovered, is a much-loved place.

Fantastic lunch after visiting Pistoia's historic center. It overlooks a small pedestrian square. We enjoyed excellent Tuscan specialties outside in the sun. Good ingredients and reasonable prices. The lampredotto was delicious, something I'd never tasted before. Their homemade desserts were delicious. Fast service. Friendly staff. There's only one bathroom. Perfect atmosphere. We recommend it. On a Monday stroll through Pistoia, we happened upon this little square, far from the traffic and noise. The restaurant attracted us with its simple yet inviting menu. The first courses are made to order, with excellent wild boar sauce and sausage and olive sauce that leave a lasting impression of wholesome home cooking with every bite. The grilled meat was split in two, cooked to perfection. Quick and friendly service. Highly recommended.

Recommended by a friend from Pistoia, we Monferrato residents of Casale M. venture into this super welcoming place. The staff are friendly and professional, the food is top-notch, generous portions, and the price is fair, with excellent quality. I'll definitely be back on my next visit to beautiful Pistoia. Recommended.

A restaurant in the center of Pistoia, with more than excellent quality meat!!! The tartare and fillet steaks are amazing! And the service is even better! The waitress with glasses was the best! Highly recommended!

10/06/2026: But you're really good, so the food is super good. I always get pizza there, I like it, and then you don't have to wait more than 20 minutes for your food. I like the atmosphere a little less because on Saturdays there are so many people. I highly recommend everyone to eat at Chiave Dori, in fact I'm going there these days too because I've been having a great time.
