Carla is a gem, sunny and very nice, among other things a producer of local honey that we bought at the cashier. Not to mention the spectacular view of the village and the hills, especially at sunset. If I were to happen to be in the area again I would definitely go back.

Luca é molto preparato e dedito al suo lavoro, conosce e racconta ai suoi ospiti tutti i piatti, gli ingredienti ( materia prima di qualità ) e i vini selezionati che mette in tavola. Una oiacevole esperienza culinaria e di ospitalità.

The environment rating is related to the outdoor area of ​​the place, not having used the internal rooms. In the summer evenings, it is an ideal setting for an informal dinner with friends.

26/05/2025: I was a guest last night with my husband to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The restaurant is located within the walls of Lucca, my advice is to leave the car outside as it is a ZTL area. Don't rely too much on Google Maps if you don't want to go home with a fine. The dinner includes a choice of three surprise tastings: 5, 7 or 9 courses plus dessert. We chose the last one with a cost of €150 per person, excluding wine. The menu included fish and meat dishes with a touch of genius in every single course that made the dinner very fun and satisfying, especially since we didn't know what to expect since it is a blind tasting. Compliments to the dining room staff who listened to us and followed us from the beginning to the end of the dinner, doing their job impeccably. The restaurant is also accessible to people with disabilities and is pet friendly.

26/05/2025: My wife and I went to this restaurant to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. The menu includes a choice of three culinary courses, consisting of five, seven or nine plus dessert. In our case we opted for the 10-course total for a cost of €150 per person. The course winds through fish and meat dishes with different consistencies and cooking methods and combinations reinterpreted by chef Tomei. The wine list presents a great variety and different typologies with particular labels from all over the world. The dining room staff is very kind and well prepared. The restaurant is located within the walls of Lucca immersed in the beautiful setting of the Pfanner palace, be careful of the ZTL.

15/06/2025: .....and nothing.....it's no longer a surprise!!! With our usual group of motorcyclists, we have been making a mandatory stop at Baracchina for years now....a positive certainty!!!! Excellent food at more than fair prices. Fair and satisfying portions. Young and extremely friendly and active staff....a guarantee for us. Highly recommended!!!!

26/05/2025: destination for a Sunday motorbike ride with friends ... what can I say ... the restaurant is on the road and has a decent parking lot, inside it is well kept and clean (there is also a large veranda if the temperature allows it) the service is polite, present and well organized. menu up to par with good appetizers and first courses, tasty second courses with only one flaw ... there is no Florentine steak :(. excellent bill. well done!

08/07/2025: Everything is excellent and super delicious, the cocktails are impeccable, and the cappuccino is perfect! A huge plus is the staff; they are absolutely cordial, pleasant, and helpful. Highly recommended.
