09/05/2025: My girlfriend and I stopped here for Easter Monday lunch. The dishes served (as well as the service) were really tasty. The staff, despite having full tables and a lot of work to do, never lost their smile not even once. Very nice and approachable. We also thank you for having us at very short notice. We left (aside from being a little sad to leave that beautiful place) with some purchases that I highly recommend: Acacia honey produced by them, super good and delicate and also their very particular jams.

26/05/2025: I was a guest last night with my husband to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The restaurant is located within the walls of Lucca, my advice is to leave the car outside as it is a ZTL area. Don't rely too much on Google Maps if you don't want to go home with a fine. The dinner includes a choice of three surprise tastings: 5, 7 or 9 courses plus dessert. We chose the last one with a cost of €150 per person, excluding wine. The menu included fish and meat dishes with a touch of genius in every single course that made the dinner very fun and satisfying, especially since we didn't know what to expect since it is a blind tasting. Compliments to the dining room staff who listened to us and followed us from the beginning to the end of the dinner, doing their job impeccably. The restaurant is also accessible to people with disabilities and is pet friendly.

26/05/2025: My wife and I went to this restaurant to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. The menu includes a choice of three culinary courses, consisting of five, seven or nine plus dessert. In our case we opted for the 10-course total for a cost of €150 per person. The course winds through fish and meat dishes with different consistencies and cooking methods and combinations reinterpreted by chef Tomei. The wine list presents a great variety and different typologies with particular labels from all over the world. The dining room staff is very kind and well prepared. The restaurant is located within the walls of Lucca immersed in the beautiful setting of the Pfanner palace, be careful of the ZTL.

23/08/2025: A great option for those who need to eat gluten-free, but also want to avoid sacrificing anything. The entire menu is also available in a gluten-free version. Fried food is superb, very dry, and plentiful.

04/08/2025: Gorgeous covered outdoor dining area and enchanting poolside tables. The welcome and service were truly excellent, courteous, and professional. The dishes were beautiful and truly delicious: I recommend the tuna tartare and octopus salad as appetizers, and all the first courses were fabulous. It's not cheap, but the prices are more than fair for the quality, generous portions, ingredients, location (in Viareggio, in Versilia, on the Terrazza della Repubblica, a quiet promenade), service, ambiance, and atmosphere. Highly recommended! We'll definitely be back.

14/08/2025: Lovely trattoria, with typical local products. The pork butcher's platter is very good and features unique ingredients. Excellent first courses (amazing chitarrini). Fairly priced, highly recommended.

02/09/2025: We ate here last Sunday, but we wouldn't recommend it. It's very overpriced, and the dishes we ordered weren't great. We ordered a beef carpaccio as a starter, and then a tuna carpaccio was placed in front of us. We ate it out of decency, but it wasn't what we ordered. The Parmesan cheese listed on the menu was also missing. For main courses, we had a lasagna and a gnocchi with shrimp. The lasagna looked like it had just been microwaved. It had no texture, a watery sauce, and it just wasn't tasty. The gnocchi, on the other hand, was okay—not bad, but not tasty either. I wouldn't order it again. The shrimp in this dish weren't peeled, which is another drawback. The dessert, on the other hand, was very good; the cheesecake with red fruit is highly recommended. All in all, €81, including three drinks. I wouldn't come here again.

30/08/2025: Very good restaurant! GO THERE! Very reasonable prices! Marco and Luidji are AWESOME!!!!! And a second night with them... Value for money, service, friendliness, seaside, fresh produce... Wow... it's all there... We're from Alsace, and I highly recommend it...

31/07/2025: A small place in the heart of Lucca, but with tables available in the square. It offers a selection of delicious, freshly made sandwiches. Good value. Recommended for a quick lunch. The beers are pretty good.

30/07/2025: Very friendly staff and delicious sandwiches with specialty meats from the region! The spritzes were also refreshing. The terrace is nicely located next to a square. Go here for an authentic local aperitvo vibe.

09/09/2025: Don't miss this restaurant if you're in the area, but it's also worth a visit. Personally, I think it's top-notch; the appetizers are delicious, as are the first and second courses and pizza. They also make good coffee (a Postina blend). Prices are reasonable and the quality/price ratio is excellent. GO THERE!

04/09/2025: We went to this place for fish, because we'd been advised it was very good, plentiful, and reasonably priced... But in our case, that wasn't quite the case. We had two regular salads for €6 each, but I can assure you it was just a handful of salad, although good because it contained garden produce, but the quantity was really small. We then had two spaghetti allo scoglio, with only one peeled shrimp, five or six shellfish to clean, good but not enough, and finally the spaghetti was really small, about 50g. To finish, we had a dessert: custard with a few berries, obviously, served in a small bowl, and only a bottle of still water. So, to sum up: Salad €6 x 2px Spaghetti with seafood €16 x 2px Still water €3 Dessert €6 Coupon €3 x 2px TOTAL €59 In conclusion, we woke up hungry, so we wouldn't recommend it. Total €57

23/08/2025: Family atmosphere, authentic food, excellent quality—what more can I say? I recommend an aperitif at the bar next to the restaurant, run by the restaurant owner's granddaughter. It's a real home-away-from-home experience in Forte dei Marmi.

10/06/2025: Beautiful and very well-kept place, you can eat both outside and inside, large parking and excellent food from pizzas to pinsa and more ... the drinks are excellent ... and finally the staff is very friendly and kind makes you feel at ease ... 2 steps from Lucca a perfect place to spend hours in company tasting everything it offers, I recommend it and I will definitely return

06/09/2025: Poor food with olives harder than rocks, terrible service (the waitress got the wrong dishes and overcharged us), you're better off going to the restaurant next door. P.S. We were told the dish was ours, and only after we'd eaten it were we told it would be charged, so there's no point in making it seem like we stole something that wasn't ours. 😐😉 Guys, those olives were truly inedible.

10/07/2025: Excellent delicatessen in Forte dei Marmi. Excellent quality products, cured meats, cheeses, and more. You can also dine in, serving delicious first courses, second courses, and side dishes. Friendly and helpful staff. If you're passing through Forte dei Marmi, this is a must-stop for lunch. Highly recommended!
