Stopping for lunch or dinner at Luca at Bar Aurelio is always a guarantee!! I rarely find people so passionate about the food they offer, from appetizers to desserts and snacks, exceptional quality!!!... The raw materials are excellent and are the result of travel and immersion in the places where they are produced... He has a deep knowledge of the products he chooses, trades and with which he prepares phenomenal dishes! Wood-fired porchetta... his wood-fired oven churns out irresistible potatoes and meats... guys, stop by... even for a snack. And try the excellent quality even in what may seem like a simple sandwich or appetizer! A great connoisseur of Tuscan olive oil as it should be!!!! Pasta and rice of the best reserves!!!! And for this too I find myself in agreement with his choices! 🤗 To Luca and all his staff (truly excellent!) my best compliments!!!!

Da Aurelio is a guarantee. Last night, I enjoyed a platter of cured meats, wonderful mozzarella, gorgonzola, and sausages, unique porchetta with potatoes, and a soft and delicious apple pie! The prices are more than fair for a quality that's increasingly hard to find! We'll be back again and again!

The cold cuts, soups, cheeses that you will not find anywhere else. The quality is excellent. The ice cream with olive oil made with orange peels pleasantly surprised me.

Excellent bar/restaurant, they have an excellent quality/price ratio, I highly recommend the sandwich with gorgonzola and raw sausage, truly excellent.

È poco fuori Livorno, sulla strada per Collesalvetti nel verde del Cisternino. È frequentatissimo per pranzi veloci a base soprattutto di taglieri di ottimi salumi e formaggi. Ma anche, se si ha un po' piu' di tempo, per gustare qualcuno dei primi fissi che cambiano giorno per giorno, le grigliate di verdure, il roastbeef o quando viene infornata, una volta alla settimana, la porchetta. Da non perdere il dessert curiosita': gelatovallo yogurt affogato con olio aromatizzato all'arancia. Prezzi popolari che portano il rapporto con la qualità a livelli molto alti. Una bella sorpresa.

My parents used to take me to Aurelio's when I was little...picnics, snacks, lunches. Aurelio is an institution for the people of Livorno...quality raw materials and excellent food as well as courtesy and friendliness, Luca and his brother carry on the family tradition wonderfully...🥰

07/08/2026: Very nice little restaurant in the streets of Porto Azzurro. Truly excellent food, not the usual dishes but more unique ones. The tuna was very good, the octopus was fantastic. Very fair prices. The only downside is that it's very hot in August because the location is a bit stuffy. But we cooled off with a nice bottle of wine ☺️
01/08/2026: A lovely little corner place, with clearly high-quality ingredients and extremely friendly staff. The menu is sophisticated and interesting.

22/06/2026: Exceptional setting and decor. Impeccable service. Fresh ingredients, beautifully presented. Compliments. It's a shame about the risotto being a mess, otherwise the overall rating would have been top-notch. Anyone can make a bad risotto, but: the rice was too undercooked, too salty, not enough creaminess, and it left a pool on the plate. The chef's reasons, as told to us by an intimidated and embarrassed waitress, who was innocently dragged in, didn't convince us—quite the opposite! I know a thing or two about risottos, and the person I was with, a chef with over 30 years of experience in the kitchen, fully agreed. I apologize to the waitress if I reacted a bit brusquely to her reasons. Otherwise, the experience at that restaurant was excellent. For the record, I finished the risotto and wouldn't have said anything (we've all made a bad dish) if we hadn't been asked to express an opinion. Other than that, congratulations on everything else.
