18/01/2026: We just went to this little restaurant and I have to say it's fantastic, the rustic atmosphere is really nice, the food is delicious and plentiful, the staff are friendly and fast, the prices are fair, if I ever go back to Cecina I'll definitely go back. PS: As soon as I arrived they offered me a glass of prosecco, it's truly top notch.

12/01/2026: Unfortunately, 1 hour and 15 minutes for three pizzas seems completely out of line to me. Never happened to me.

11/01/2026: Bad experience, an hour late in delivering the pizzas. The schiacciatine cost €8 and are smaller than my hand. At least my pizza was good.

31/01/2026: Thank you also for always being open. Excellent welcome and maximum help in times of need. The place is enchanting, even in the winter rain. It's well-designed and very comfortable. A special thanks to all the staff for the emergency. I hope to return.

05/01/2026: This year was my 30th...and I must say I've never been bored, in fact I'm always happier to spend my month's vacation there. I thank all the staff and the owners, who make us feel so welcome...like we're at home. Thanks to Annamaria, Virginia, and Jeremi...truly wonderful people.

28/09/2025: Excellent fish, fresh and perfectly seasoned, beautiful sea views, and cheap parking 400 meters from the beach. Another plus is that you can eat here almost all day long, which is not very common in Italy.

02/01/2026: Unfortunately, we had a very negative experience with our New Year's Eve dinner on December 31st. There were four of us and we were deeply disappointed by several aspects. The venue and comfort: The space is cramped and very narrow, with the tables too close together. The main problem, however, was the unacceptable cold: with one degree outside, the temperature inside was so low that we had to dine in coats for the entire four hours. Despite our complaints, no measures were taken to heat the room. The cuisine: The menu was excessively heavy for such a long dinner. Starting with the appetizers, we were perplexed: serving heavily flavored cured meat and cheese platters to start a New Year's Eve dinner was neither a good nor a refined choice. The food pairings in general were too heavy. Service and hospitality: The most disappointing aspect was the management's indifference. Despite there being only six or seven tables in the restaurant, the owner never showed up to check on us after our complaints about the cold, much less to offer the usual New Year's greetings. A complete lack of customer service. Not recommended, especially in the winter.

27/11/2025: We visited Ugo's in Castagneto Carducci and had a wonderful time! The staff was extremely kind and attentive, making us feel right at home. The traditional Tuscan dishes are truly delicious: authentic flavors, quality ingredients, and generous portions. Great attention to detail, from appetizers to desserts. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy authentic local cuisine in a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere!

13/10/2025: Historic restaurant in Castagneto Carducci. Excellent traditional Tuscan dishes. Must try. Reservations are recommended as it's always full.

27/09/2025: A super quaint pub with great service. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive. The food is reasonably priced and impresses with its great taste and good, fresh quality. Whether you come for dinner, a nightcap, or even breakfast in the morning... there's always something to suit your taste. There are also sweet treats. A great snack platter is served with the aperitif. You're sitting right on the street, but that's not really a problem. We felt very comfortable here! The Aperol Spritz here is VERY good and fizzy, and at €5, it's really delicious!

22/08/2025: Booked with The Fork, discounted prices by 20%. The food is average, and the prices are a bit high even with the discount. I didn't particularly like the service. We ordered two courses each (two appetizers, a first course, and a second course), and they couldn't bring the dishes together, not even the two appetizers.

21/10/2025: One early autumn evening, I visited this restaurant, located in Marciana Alta, with a lovely view. I quite enjoyed it, and ordered a seafood appetizer—perhaps a little pricey, but good. And a basic fried fish.

26/10/2025: At Michele's restaurant, everything is in its place, and even my dog, who arrived unannounced, found a friendly place. I had a mouth-watering fried juvenile fish platter, followed by a homemade taglierini pasta with amberjack and bottarga. The stuffed zucchini flowers and the grouper steak were also beautiful. A chestnut flan with goat's ricotta mousse rounded out the evening. The price is in line with the food and service. Would you want to spend 50-60 for a dinner like this if a pizzeria costs at least 25? Highly recommended.

26/09/2025: We chose to celebrate my wife's birthday at this restaurant based on the positive reviews and photos of the dishes, and we weren't disappointed. We ordered four spectacular tartare mixes and two exceptional hot seafood appetizers. We continued with sea urchin bavette (mouth-watering), delicious seafood spaghetti, and a sensational lobster tagliolini. The desserts were worthy of the rest of the dinner, the service was attentive but never pushy, and the price was more than fair. If you want to eat good fresh fish and spend a fair amount, this is the place for you.
