24/05/2025: Terrible ice cream, rude staff, deceptive prices. Two of us asked for a cone/cup with three flavors, one of us was charged €6 (an exaggerated price in itself!!) while the other was charged €10 because she chose to take an extra-large cone that she absolutely didn't ask for!! Absolutely avoid!!!

23/05/2025: Per me, è il peggior gelato di Firenze, sia per quanto riguarda la materia prima (gelato quasi pessimo) sia per la cortesia/gentilezza del personale (a malapena ti parlano, sembra che tu gli dia noia), sia per l'onestà (i prezzi mal esposti, un cono da €3,50 era quasi inesistente). Fare peggio è quasi impossibile

24/05/2025: Sure! Here's an example of a bad review you could use: ⸻ Terrible experience, avoid! We went to this bar and left really disappointed (and with our wallets empty). We had 2 sandwiches and 2 Cokes and they charged us 43€: a price that was completely out of line for the (terrible) quality of the food. The sandwiches were inedible, tasteless and seemed to be made with low-quality ingredients. The staff was rude and arrogant, no smiles, no attention to the customer. The icing on the cake: they didn't even bring us the receipt, a non-transparent and unacceptable behavior. I strongly advise against this place. There are many better places where you can spend much less and eat much better.

17/05/2025: Sandwiches are good, but drinks are extremely overpriced. Service is also kinda weird as you immediately get the receipt with your drinks and no chance to reorder. Only reason to stop here is if you urgently need a drink after Uffizi 😅 tourist scam

22/06/2025: We ordered a pizza and a steak. The steak was clearly frozen, reheated, and barely edible—tough, dry, and absolutely joyless. The pizza wasn’t much better: bland, rubbery, and probably reheated too. Then came the bill: €80. Hidden fees everywhere—€10 for sad veggies we didn’t order, plus a service charge for service that never showed up. This place survives off clueless tourists and location alone. It’s not a restaurant, it’s a trap. You’ve been warned. Garbage.

13/06/2025: Worst of the worst! Never had such worst mussels in my whole life! And my friends ordering beef and lamp also had worst food of the whole Italian trip! Worst service pushing people to leave after we ordered many wine and drinks only 10 mins ago! If the restaurant is about to close, why don’t you allow guests order so many wine and drinks??? Hate this restaurant ruined my mood of the night!!!! The waitress are all Indians who does not respond to your request and didn’t tell it’s going to close!!!

01/06/2025: The most expensive meal in Florence was also the most disappointing. Staff was attentive and ambience was very nice. THEY NEED A NEW CHEF. I had the tortellini which was horrid, and my wife had the brown lasagne which was tasteless. This coupled with the most expensive drinks service in Florence led to a bad review. High prices for bad food and expensive drinks. Avoid until they recognize that their competition is working harder to provide better value and quality.

06/06/2025: Mediocre gelato at absurd prices. We paid over €20 for two small cones and water. Prices weren’t clearly displayed, and the staff was cold and unhelpful. They encouraged us to sit without warning that prices would increase. A classic tourist trap — avoid it and look for better spots elsewhere in Florence. ⸻ ⭐ 1 star Disappointing experience at Caffè Maioli Visited recently during a walk near the Ponte Vecchio, but unfortunately the experience was terrible in every way. The gelato was mediocre, tasteless and creamy, similar to the industrial one. But the real shock came with the bill: exorbitant prices and not clearly indicated. For two small cones and a bottle of water, the total was over 20 euros. A real tourist trap. The staff was cold and unhelpful, almost annoyed by our presence. They also invited us to sit without explaining that doing so would increase the prices even more. In a city full of gastronomic excellences, it is a shame to find places that only aim to exploit the location to make money, without caring about quality or service. Not recommended.

I bought a so-called “pistachio” cannolo from this market, and the only authentic thing about it was the crushing disappointment. The filling? A suspiciously colored chemical paste that tasted like flavored margarine with ambition. My guess? They waved at real pistachios from across the street and carried on with food dye. The shop’s atmosphere matches the dessert: cold, indifferent, and weirdly proud of itself. Service was a delightful mix of indifference and mild disdain. Note to tourists: if you’re after an authentic Italian experience, go literally anywhere else. This place is a masterclass in how to turn a sweet treat into a bitter memory.

21/06/2025: Don't go. I always check the reviews, but we were hungry and I didn't look... very expensive, poor quality, and terrible service. And expensive. Did I say it before? There's no room inside.

31/05/2025: A nice little café. We were here for breakfast yesterday and came back today. A regular cappuccino was €3.50, a large cappuccino was €5. Really delicious. They also have a few sweet treats to choose from. We tried the filled croissants and the Berliners – all really well-filled and delicious. Despite the limited space, we felt very comfortable and enjoyed our breakfast here 😋❤️.

15/12/2024: El trabajador deshonesto del sur de Asia que viene aquí en Italia para ganar dinero rápido. Compré 2 helados, el precio de la etiqueta es 3. 5 euros pero me cobran 14 euros, la mejor parte se da 50 euros y me devuelven 30 euros. Estafar a un hombre del sur de Asia sólo puede hacer un poco de dinero por deshonra, pero nada más. Sólo piensa que un patético tipo sin educación vino aquí en Florencia que engaña dinero de turistas en lugar de su propio país, realmente vergonzoso. KNN

05/12/2024: EVITATE QUESTO POSTO!!! Proprietario vecchio maleducato... Camerieri che seguono il loro padrone. Evitate. il proprietario prima di servire un cliente s'è messo le dita nel naso. Poi per farla ancora più decorosa, si pulisce le mani su uno strofinaccio e pulito poi i bicchieri... Da vomitare A una signora gli ha urlato " morta di fame, scommetto che non ha un euro nel portafoglio... La sig.ra esce sconvolta, rientra col marito e figlio, e il proprietario si nasconde dietro bottega... Un cinema. Ho visto in questo bar anche scarafaggi dentro il pozzetto dei gelati, comprese mosche. Da vomitareeeee... Ma i NAS controlla questo locale? Ci sono altri bar che meritano...
