12/03/2025: Che dire andata dopo aver cercato un ristorante vicino all alloggio, a Firenze si cammina tanto di giorno , il menù trovato sul sito online mi ha incuriosito e quindi ci siamo andati accoglienza superlativa posto bello personale gentilissimo e cortese. il sig. Francesco ci ha accolto consigliato e spiegato con dovizia di particolari le pietanze e il vino Ci siamo trovati talmente bene che ci siamo tornati un altra sera un menù non vasta ma con abbastanza scelta da soddisfare i gusti più vari ,quantità corrette ,prezzi bassi se confrontati con locali in zona vista la qualità e la cura nei piatti. Piatti della tradizione ma rivisitati in modo divino con abbinamenti di sapori molto delicati ma decisi fra i piatti provati nelle 2 Serate mi porto nel cuore carpaccio di baccalà peccato che vacanza finita ma... Alla prossima volta che visiteremo Firenze non mancheremo di ritornarci grazie Natalina e biagio

16/03/2025: Excellent bar run by Riccardo, always kind and welcoming. The breakfasts are delicious, especially the cappuccino and the attention to the customer is priceless. A point of reference in the area, also valid for a quick lunch or an aperitif.

The great personality and friendliness of the owner is proportionate to the quality, freshness and great attention to the preparation of the food that the chef dedicates. 03/02/2025: This is a fantastic little coffee bar. This was our go to for a quick cappuccino or espresso during our daily adventures in Florence. The coffee was delicious and they have some great pastry and panini options as well. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a nice little boost in your day!

20/04/2025: Had espresso, water and coke here this afternoon and both had a focaccia sandwich. The service was very friendly and the sandwiches were very tasty and filling. Calm music was played, which allowed us to relax for a while. Excellent in terms of price. And near the cathedral,

30/03/2025: The pizza is really delicious. thin, low and not watery (for those who are very hungry, there is also a giant pizza version. One day I will have it 😜) The first courses, to the eye, must be a lot 🤤 Even though there were a lot of people, they were quite fast. Efficient service 👌 Very cheap pizza prices, compared to other pizzerias that charge you dizzying prices.

08/04/2025: Starters for 70 people, excellent service and the food is fantastic, cold cuts, cheeses, crostini, pizzas. Then red and white wines! The workers are very kind!

29/03/2025: Good food and nice environment. The waiters were very rude in their ways: we had booked a table from 8pm to 9pm, they brought us food at 8.30pm and at 8.40pm they started telling us we had to leave. I understand having to respect certain time slots, but I expect that at least until 9pm you will have the opportunity to eat calmly (otherwise they will make the next reservation with at least a quarter of an hour to clear the table). The price is medium-high: if I spend €28 for an aperitif I expect a suitable service.

26/04/2025: Ringrazio calorosamente per la speciale accoglienza, siamo stati benissimo mentre festeggiavamo la Laurea di mio figlio. Cordialità e buoni piatti hanno fatto la differenza. Inoltre, voglio rimarcare la pazienza avuta del personale di servizio nell'esaudire tutte le nostre numerose richieste. Un grazie sentito soprattutto a Laura. Very the best!!!

17/04/2025: Et unikt og charmerende lille spisested i en sidegade i Firenze! Overalt er der dekoreret med hilsner fra gæster fra hele verdenen. Lækker tapas af høj kvalitet og der bliver serveret store glas vin :-) Hende der har stedet er yderst venlig og imødekommende. Vi nød virkelig at spise her!

13/04/2025: Magnífico. Este simpático y diminuto delicatessen sirve platos de carne curados en la granja familiar con quesos y vino locales; sencillo pero tan bueno. Los propietarios están encantados y justificadamente orgullosos de la comida que sirven. Si tienes que esperar una mesa, hazlo, vale la pena.

27/04/2025: Ci troviamo a Empoli e abbiamo trovato questa pizzeria che aveva posto, diciamo senza lode e senza infamia, da segnalare la gentilezza e la buona gestione, le ragazze ai tavoli molto brave, la pizza come tante forse un po' più costosa.

13/04/2025: Cibo scadente, la pizza mi è rimasta sullo stomaco tutta la settimana, si vede che il personale si impegna e cerca di rendere felice la clientela, ma non posso dare più di 2 stelle per la qualità del cibo...

29/12/2024: Cozy restaurant even if it has a bit of mold and dust. The typical first courses of the area are not served, which is serious. Furthermore, the waitress didn't tell us all the dishes of the day, only adding them to the dessert.

15/02/2025: There is really nothing Sicilian. Anonymous dishes at too high prices. A small, thin slice of swordfish filled with breadcrumbs is served. The side potatoes, full of butter, are anything but Sicilian. Total absence of garlic and flavors in all dishes. Stale cannoli filled with ricotta and sugar, also without flavour. The only positive note is the room manager, kind and helpful, always attentive.

06/01/2025: 12 years ago we had our wedding reception in this restaurant one step away from paradise. My husband and I come back to eat here every time we are in Florence.

10/04/2025: The food isn't bad; a few "slips" for which unfortunately I can't give more stars: baked potatoes not crispy and too oily, mashed potatoes too dry, the cooking of the burger not exactly spot on. Overall I don't recommend the place, in any case nice, with very friendly staff. I will return on another occasion. (One thing I notice: “Caffè Dogali-Proprietario” only responds to negative reviews, to point out and criticize those who left the review, never to positive ones. If they were to respond by criticizing this review, perhaps I will change my mind about the aspect of courtesy, and the desire to give the place a second chance)
