01/11/2023: More than positive experience. I was looking for a place to taste Chianina meat, and here I found the highest quality, an exclusive, welcoming and characteristic environment. Super friendly and helpful staff. I ate the best Chianina steak I can remember, perfectly cooked on a large wood-burning brazier, the unique flavor of locally produced meat. The mushroom and potato side dishes, as well as the excellent house red wine, further enhanced the typical taste of the local tradition. If I returned to the area, I would certainly repeat the experience, perhaps combining other typical local dishes not tasted on this occasion. Absolutely highly recommended.

22/10/2023: Arrived at 12.30 with a 4 year old girl and ate 13.50 which was shameful, we had to cancel the meat because otherwise it would still be there at 8pm... zero organization in the kitchen... I won't go back again

05/02/2025: Locale carino, parcheggio grande. Ha una grande veranda dive è piacevole stare durante le belle giornate. Bagno un po’ vecchiotto. Carbonara (10€) molto buona e ciaccia anche.

29/12/2024: Abbiamo fatto colazione stamattina in questo bar, molto affollato ma il servizio velocissimo, abbiamo preso due paste diverse alla mela , una con crema ed una senza e due caffè, prezzo 5 euro, parcheggio comodo , consigliato per la colazione

15/09/2024: Sempre accogliente.. servizio veloce.. pizza davvero buona e sempre ben farcita.. luogo adatto anche per animali.. per i quali c’è sempre molta accortezza

27/08/2024: Edilizia e arredamento precario, servizio distratto. Cibo peggio dell’autogrill standard. Sconsigliato. L’unica nota positiva è il conto che è modesto come la pizza e le patatine fritte un paio di ore prima

08/09/2024: The “Al Travato” Enoteca in Monterchi is probably the only 'always open' restaurant, from Monday to Saturday, that can always be found open in the small Tuscan village. It is located in the upper square, near the fortress with the tower and the clock. What is certain is that in such a small and almost completely abandoned village it is really difficult to find anything else; if it weren't for that much talked about painting by Piero della Francesca there probably wouldn't be a living soul! The Al Travato wine shop offers very simple but decidedly abundant dishes, unfortunately the food didn't win me over! The prices are not cheap, just move a few km towards Umbria to eat the same things at a more advantageous price!

23/08/2024: After visiting the Museum of the beautiful Madonna del Parto by Piero della Francesca we walked up the Monterchi fortress and had lunch at the Travato wine shop which was the only place open for lunch. The table was under the foliage of the trees in the square and despite the hot and sunny day we had a really good time in the cool. Inside there is also a wine and food shop. The food was excellent and the service was very kind and friendly.

08/01/2025: Eravamo con la famiglia ad Arezzo e abbiamo girato ovunque per trovare un ristorantino con posti a sedere interni. E alla fine eccolo quì! Il titolare un ragazzo gentilissimo ci ha fatto sedere con un eccezione visto che era tutto pieno... Ragazzi che cucina ...che sapori... Complimenti consigliatissimo

22/12/2024: Lo consiglio vivamente perché stati veramente bene .Cibo ottimo il personale gentile e disponibile. Ad Arezzo sarà sicuramente un punto di riferimento per mangiare .grazie alla prossima
