14/08/2024: Our agriturismo host had this restaurant on his list of recommendations. We ate there in April 2023. The town was super quiet, almost no one around except a teen and his grandmother. A sweet and efficient older man and his wife work here along with an outdoor cat. The food was very tasty and we had such a nice experience. I don’t think I would drive here from another town but it was very special. We had the whole restaurant, and the whole town, to ourselves. A very nice core memory for my teen son. Later that night we ordered some food for delivery, and lo and behold, it was the same nice man who delivered our order.

24/08/2024: I ended up in the restaurant by pure chance and was really satisfied with the quality of the dishes! Everything was delicious, in particular tortelli di Monterotondo with ragù, original as they are a house creation, the filling is excellent, very delicate and the pastry is really thin! Never had something so good! The starter (donzelle and ham) and the sheep's roasts cooked and salted to perfection were also very good. Very kind and friendly wait staff! I will definitely go back

10/08/2024: Truly excellent! I am now a regular customer and every time I promise to leave a review but I always forget. Here we are: Very refined and elegant environment; excellent selection of wines and truly appetizing cuisine. The owners are very nice and friendly. Available to please everyone's palate. Highly recommended both for a quick business lunch, and in the late afternoon for a simple aperitif and in the evening to spend a nice evening with food and good wine.

31/07/2024: Place with a good choice of wines and decent quality of food. A flaw... Among the first courses we note: tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and pici with Cinta Senese ragù. I asked for tagliatelle with Cinta Senese ragù and they told me it wasn't possible. What to think ? Pre-cooked and frozen first courses? No explanation was given to my request. Among other things, tagliatella goes very well with Cinta Senese ragù.

18/04/2024: I went for an aperitif, excellent prices, kind and friendly staff and excellent squash! I recommend it to everyone, I will definitely go back.

30/08/2024: Magnificent place, welcoming rooms with everything you need... there is no air conditioning but with the breeze there you don't feel the need even on the hottest days. The restaurant is truly worth stopping by to enjoy delicious food, The panorama with splendid sunsets not to mention the welcome, they really make you feel at home HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

30/07/2024: Charming farm house exuding true Tuscan ambience close from Volterra, with stunning views from both the restaurant terrace and the entrance side. Spacious, cozy and comfortable apartment with a well-equipped kitchen. The pool is also wonderful, capacious and perfectly maintained.Luigi is an excellent host, polite and attentive! The restaurant offers typical Tuscan country cuisine, with a great selection of wines, courteous and nice staff, and the restaurant itself meets all expectations. I"ll be back!

01/07/2024: Very nice and spacious place (both inside and outside). Truly delicious food 😋. Clean bathroom. Very fast service, at the first sign the waiters arrived at the table. OPTIMAL!

07/08/2024: Terrible reservation management, we arrived 15 minutes before the reservation, we asked the reservation guy who after looking for the name said that they were still finishing eating at the table so we had to wait, after 20 minutes so time after our reservation they were still there eating and other reservations from 2 people like us had already sat at other tables. I ask again at the reservation desk and this time a girl tells me that since I didn't ask her she doesn't know, even answering rudely. Asking the third waitress she makes us sit at another table. Good food, great view on the place.

07/08/2024: The restaurant offers a beautiful view in front of the port, suggestive at sunset, the menu is original and the courses are all very good, the waiters welcoming and professional. Great experience, I highly recommend it!

04/08/2024: Picking up an umbrella by chance, we stopped for dinner and were amazed. Dinner practically on the spectacular beach, super good dishes, very fresh fish, magnificent kindness of the staff. Super recommended. A very normal bathroom in appearance, there wasn't an empty table. 10 stars!!

14/07/2024: A beautiful refuge, excellent cuisine and excellent hospitality, thanks to the volunteers of the CAI Pistoia

13/07/2024: Another beautiful resting point and refuge that you encounter along the paths of the (wonderful) Pistoia mountains. The refuge is managed by CAI volunteers. On holidays you can also find food and hospitality, without confusing this reality with the refuge-restaurant of professional tourism (fortunately), on other days you can find water, tables, a bivouac always open with a fireplace for the wolfish nights, and by organizing yourself you can book the structure to sleep in beds, cook etc.

21/07/2024: A pearl in a small village. There is the possibility of eating on the terrace or inside. We were well received there and we were able to chat with the cook who is a great chef and very friendly, as are his wife and regular bikers. We had a great time and really enjoyed ourselves. The menu is short, which allows you to have dishes of great quality and gargantuan quantity. The papardelle with wild boar ragù, the Tagliata, the fried potatoes, the insalata mista and the Chianti chicken were crazy as well as the panna cotta with red fruits (blueberries). It really is a must-see address in the region. Thank you again for this delicious meal and the discussions we had.

15/07/2024: We had dinner two evenings in a row: amazing Florentine, tagliatelle, cockerel!!!! What can we say about the managers Sabatino and Jenny: very nice, kind and helpful. 27/08/2024: We returned to the Hermitage after three years and the experience was equally unforgettable. This place offers a wonderful sea and unparalleled tranquility. The attention to detail is impeccable and the cleanliness is always impeccable. The quality of the food is simply exceptional. Here time seems to stop, allowing you to think about nothing and enjoy the moment. Everything is perfectly organized and carefully arranged. The mid-August evening is always special, with an extraordinary buffet, among the best ever tried, based on very fresh fish, both cooked and raw. Abundant grilled meat options, delicious desserts and an evening animated by exceptional guests who know how to involve everyone and crazy fireworks lasting over 10 minutes, directly from the beach. This place is truly a paradise in Italy.

24/08/2024: From a natural point of view, excellent location...very kind and attentive staff. Many services also available free of charge... rooms in my opinion need to be reviewed in detail and below the 5 star standard. In any case very nice. Nice and relaxing stay
