08/09/2025: I'll start by saying that the quality of what we ate was well above the city average, and that certainly deserves recognition. However, it's absolutely not an osteria to charge €25.50 for—I swear, I'm not kidding—two bites of peposo. I found it utterly dishonest, I'm truly sorry to say. On the contrary, the first course was a decent portion, for a rather low price, considering the average for Florence. The service was rather anonymous and somewhat confusing. There was air conditioning, but it wasn't on, and it was very, very hot inside. Ultimately, €70 for an appetizer, a first course, a second course, a quarter of wine, and a liter of water seems excessive to me, considering the name "osteria." It wouldn't have been such an absurd price if the portion of peposo had been just a little larger. Two bites are truly a joke, even if they are delicious.

29/07/2025: Mangiando Mangiando is now a must, whether for a quiet dinner with my husband or for business lunches. Everything is top-notch: fresh ingredients, carefully prepared and authentic dishes, excellent wine with excellent value. The service is impeccable: professional, attentive, and rich in true knowledge of Florentine and Tuscan cuisine. The service is attentive and knowledgeable, presented with passion and authenticity. It's a restaurant for everyone—welcoming and accessible—but at the same time, it's a true Florentine restaurant, where Florentines don't feel like guests, but at home. An authentic, sincere place. Highly recommended!

28/09/2025: Excellent fish, fresh and perfectly seasoned, beautiful sea views, and cheap parking 400 meters from the beach. Another plus is that you can eat here almost all day long, which is not very common in Italy.

04/11/2025: Honestly, I expected more. The menu offers a good sense of tradition, but both my Maremma tortelloni and, especially, my father's roast wild boar were just okay. The location was lovely, and the staff were friendly. The price was average, but a little more than I expected. The house red was very good.

04/12/2025: I went to Pizzeria La Capanna Bianca in Gallio and I have to say I had a really great time. The staff is friendly, kind, and super helpful; they make you feel at ease right away. The pizzas are delicious and huge, definitely bigger than the competition. The dough is thin, light, and super digestible; one of the best pizzas I've had in the area. Highly recommended, I'll definitely be back! 🍕✨

28/10/2025: Authentic ingredients. I always eat the pizza, thin and crispy, very digestible, but friends who have tried the cuisine are equally enthusiastic. Highly recommended. Upon request, they can accommodate you in a dog-friendly area.

16/11/2025: We ate tagliolini with white truffle, bruschetta with pecorino and lard, and an egg with truffle. Everything was exceptional.

19/10/2025: I stumbled upon this little gem while driving through Val d’Orcia and it’s an absolute must visit! At some point I wondered where my GPS was taking me but keep going, I promise it’s with it. The view from the terrace is spectacular and the food was very delicious. I had carbonara with fresh truffles and a panna cotta for desert. The wine was excellent as well. They have a small menu in comparison to other restaurants but there’s something on there for everyone. Additionally, this way they can make sure the produce is always fresh and local. The staff was very friendly as well. They also had an adorable cat that would sit down next to you. I will definitely come back here if I visit Val d’Orcia again.

27/10/2025: One of the great classics of Pisan cuisine. Excellent cecina and Pisan-style pizza. It has a small indoor dining room. I suggest avoiding Saturdays, as the wait times can be inhuman.

21/10/2025: If you are driving in Italy you can't go wrong with Si Montalcino Hotel. Clean, well kept with a very friendly staff. great parking that is close to the hotels lobby. It's only 5 minutes away from Montalcino which is a nice place to visit.

11/08/2025: We stayed a few days and had a great time. The rooms are simple and, in my opinion, could use some updating. However, the service is top-notch and the staff is extremely friendly. Breakfast was excellent.

27/09/2025: The lampredotto was truly delicious! It was cooked so well, I even ordered another one. The owner, just listening to his anecdotes and his honesty, deserves five stars!

07/10/2025: A superb experience! The view is impressive, and it feels like you're on the other side of the world. It's magical. The meal is equally delicious, with fresh, daily specials. The waitress was also very kind.

14/09/2025: We met Alessandro on our way back from a hike up Monte Grosso. We entered his restaurant and he welcomed us with a glass of wine. We immediately connected with a French couple and another gentleman whose name I don't remember. He shared anecdotes with us as a native Elban, with a profound knowledge of the area, resulting in an unforgettable snack. We immediately booked dinner that evening. We had a delicious meal, excellent service, and a wonderful view. Thanks to Alessandro and all his staff.

14/11/2025: Seasonal food, limited selection, but given the gourmet setting, it's understandable. Excellent dishes. The restaurant is crowded and too noisy.

09/11/2025: Excellent meat dinner. The tartare was good, the savory strudel could be improved. Two truly delicious marbled steaks, tender and flavorful. Good wine, good gin and tonics, a wonderful experience. The bill was reasonable, €70/person.

05/11/2025: This evening we tried the pizza with ragù... I've never had such a good pizza!! Very welcoming place, relaxing jazz music, young and friendly staff. An experience of taste and flavor. Well done!!!

07/10/2025: Tonight I ordered some takeout pizzas and I have to say I was moved by their deliciousness. After years, I've found a pizza chef who knows the ingredients and how to prepare, season, and bake a pizza. The Due Scorpioni pizza is the only original pizza; you won't find another within a 1,000 km radius..........you just have to try it to agree. Thank you for making me relive an emotion I thought I'd forgotten....Kiss
