27/07/2024: Food, place, environment and people of the past. this place seems to have remained unchanged over the last fifty years, and it was truly a pleasure to dine with them. I'll be back!

16/07/2024: Restaurant in a small medieval village, with a wonderful view. Simple and welcoming environment. To start we ordered a mix of starters. Excellent quality cured meats and cheeses, crostini to be improved. Purely personal taste, deer meat is good, but grilling does not fully enhance the quality of the product. Abundant side dishes (finally!). The exquisite staff completes the wonderful setting in which you are immersed.

22/08/2024: This is the best place I have ever experienced to eat funghi. Beautiful panoramic view across the Apuane mountains to the sea side. Fantastic atmosphere in the veranda “al fresco”. I strongly recommend this restaurant, very unique.

30/08/2024: Mi reco in questa salumeria a pranzo per acquistare del prosciutto crudo accompagnato da scaglie di grana. Il salumiere mi guarda esterrefatto dicendo che le scaglie di grana non può darmele,alchè io gli faccio notare che non volevo averle gratis ma pagarle come è normale che sia. Lui mi risponde in maniera accattivante “guarda che in realtà ti sei espresso male, le scaglie di grana sono un’altra cosa rispetto a ciò che vuoi tu”. Io gli rispondo che da dove vengo, DA NAPOLI, quando si parla di scaglie di grana si intende pezzetti di parmigiano tagliati e messi in una vaschetta. Da lì nasce una burrasca da parte del salumiere assurda. Inizia a insultare i napoletani dicendo che “noi napoletani” vogliamo portare il nostro modo di parlare e di vivere anche al nord, che la mafia è solo a Napoli, che il 70% dei napoletani non è buono, che non paghiamo tasse, che mandiamo gli extracomunitari al nord per non pagarli noi. Io rimando esterrefatto, provo a controbattere ma lui imperterrito e con tono di voce alzato dichiara palesemente di essere “razzista” e di non considerare l’Italia da Roma in giù. Io da Signor Napoletano, pago ciò che ho comprato nonostante sarei dovuto andarmene senza prender nulla. Ps:il prosciutto era pessimo e salato e non lo dico come ripicca

22/07/2024: I stopped by Borro for a drink and light snack and it was such a lovely experience! The service was quick, kind and attentive. There was music playing nearby and during golden hour it was nothing short of magical. With a view of Ponte Vecchio without the chaos of being near Ponte Vecchio it was my favourite spot so far in Florence. Since I only had a drink I can’t say anything about the food but the drink was nice, but a bit strong. Their wine selection was lovely however. I’ll be back!

25/08/2024: Excellent restaurant.. With outdoor parking space, large and welcoming outdoor room. Very nice interior room. We came here last night... as soon as we arrived they offered us a glass of prosecco (which made us very happy) excellent staff, very helpful, friendly and very polite. We had pizza, beer, cocacola, dessert and coffee... in short, a normal but really good menu. Fair prices and what should not be overlooked is that even the children had a good time (2 little ones). I highly recommend to everyone. Absolutely coming back.

24/08/2024: Penso che la gente non sappia più mangiare visto le recensioni positive .è un bel localino a cecina (toscana) pulito e confortevole ho chiesto un antipasto toscano (sapendo le varietà di salumi toscani) mi è stato servito un piatto con mortadella(bologna) salame milanese (milano) prosciutto (parma) ma scusate di toscano non c'era niente. Assolutamente bocciato

21/08/2024: Pizza was great, cozy place. I liked the musical theme with the menu and the decoration. Also service was friendly and fast.

13/08/2024: We visit Pisa to do some sightseeing. We stay in Pisa without our son 7 Years ago and now we want to show him 6 years old the historical city. We stopt by listening Amazing Funk and Soul Music. We also find very delicious food, good Service, good Beer and coffee and fair Prices.

06/08/2024: Everything is perfect except breakfast, breakfast is not tasty at all, everything is sticky, as if from cheap shops, there are no ordinary cereals

04/08/2024: Wonderful location! On the one hand, you found peace and quiet in this small, secluded mountain village in the middle of the vineyards and forests - perfect for relaxing away from the turbulent flow of tourists. On the other hand, it is so cleverly located that you can easily visit Arezzo, Siena (and perhaps Florence) on day trips if you want, and there are plenty of other destinations. La Canonica has been extremely tastefully renovated, everything is very clean. Breakfast is very good. The two hosts are extremely nice and accommodating, explain everything in detail, and are happy to take the time for a little chat when it's convenient. If there is the opportunity to take part in an evening or lunch menu cooked by them, and definitely take part - certainly one of the tasty dinners that we were able to enjoy on our trip to Tuscany.
