17/06/2025: A pizza that made me say "wow" at the first bite, a fantastic dough that is delicious even on the edge where there is no topping. In addition to the classic pizzas, there are some really interesting and special pizzas on the menu: I personally took the pizza with yellow cherry tomato puree, dried tomatoes, anchovies and burrata: delicious. I also took a look at the restaurant proposals and I think those are also worth it. Super kind and friendly staff. Thank you

09/06/2025: It was a bit chilly this rainy evening of April 17, 2025. When I entered the pizzeria I thought I would find a wood-fired oven that would heat the room, but there was no oven in sight. And no heat. The Bastian Contrario Ristorante Pizzeria restaurant in Pontassieve. I must say that it was a fairly positive experience. The place is welcoming, well-kept and with a relaxed atmosphere. The staff is kind, helpful and always smiling. We ordered a pizza called flauto, which however disappointed me. It wasn't cooked enough, I could feel the raw dough. However, underneath it was burnt. fresh and quality ingredients. But inside there was raw leek with the green parts that crunched under my teeth and I couldn't chew. After dinner I had this terrible leek taste in my mouth. The homemade desserts were excellent. Honest prices and generous portions. If we go back, I will avoid pizza.

31/05/2025: I asked for a simple water, ice, lemon and mint; 8 euros, all you need to know… in the end I spent 16 euros for two glasses of water.

25/05/2025: Era il mio posto preferito di quando ero una ragazzina pizze meravigliose stasera dopo tanti anni ho preso due pizze da asporto avrei voluto portargliele indietro dicendogli lei la mangerebbe questa pizza? Una prosciutto e funghi dove il crudo cattivo rancido e tagliato alto stiranchioso già brutta a vedersi .. Ma poi soprattutto l'impasto asciutto e secco solo ora sto leggendo le recensioni che hanno cambiato gestione Ecco il motivo e mi dispiace anche E comunque ho speso ben 21,50 per una capricciosa e una prosciutto e funghi per me finisce qua con il ricordo dei vecchi proprietari ..ragazzi un consiglio puntate sulla qualità dei prodotti perché si fa presto chiudere baracca

04/06/2025: A wonderful restaurant with great charm. The service was excellent, we started with a glass of Prosecco, and the food was incredibly delicious and definitely worth the price. I highly recommend going here if you're in the area. You rarely find such good food.

04/06/2025: Welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. We had dinner at this restaurant during a walk in Gambassi Terme, we decided at the last minute to end the evening by dining here because we had wanted to try this restaurant for a long time and we were definitely satisfied. I was undecided whether to have the fried fish, in the end I opted for an appetizer and a first course but then during the evening I saw the plates with the fried fish go by which were very inviting and we will definitely be back to try their fried fish too. I really enjoyed my mussel appetizer, cooked to perfection and soft, with the obligatory sauce to mop up the fish! The portion was also a little too large for my habit, but my husband was happy to help me finish it! The dessert was also delicious, a Catalan cream with the perfect consistency... what else can I say! I recommend it and I will soon be back for the fried fish.

08/06/2025: The restaurant is a very pleasant surprise. The ingredients of excellent quality marry an original and well-executed cuisine. Superlative language. There is some room for improvement on the wines and desserts, excellent the semifreddo almonds and lemon.

03/06/2025: è piacevole trovare questi ristoranti che offrono un di più del semplice mangiare. e per questo d'ho il massimo voto che difficilmente elargisco. location piccola e in un borgo carino. terrazzo con vista magnifica. servizio semplice e ordinato, come piace a me, senza invadenza ma efficiente ed attento. piatti al di sopra della media in modo particolare la pasta, oltre che fresca cotta alla perfezione, al dente. tra antipasti e secondi segnalo lo spiedino e le costine. buon livello anche i dolci. bene la carta dei vini, non tanti ma scelti e soprattutto la disponibilità di offrire anche i bicchieri (non tutti possono bere una bottiglia specie se guidano). ci ritorneremo quando saremo in zona, e complimenti per questo abbinamento toscana/puglia.
