30/03/2025: If you are looking for a place without frills but with excellent seafood dishes at more than fair prices, Bar Stadio in Viareggio is a perfect choice. The atmosphere is simple and informal, perfect for those who want to enjoy a quality meal without too many pleasantries. The seafood salad is really excellent, fresh and well seasoned. The fritto misto and the fritto misto completo are abundant and crunchy, without being too greasy, with a quality-price ratio that is difficult to beat in the area. If you are in Viareggio and want to eat well while spending the right amount, Bar Stadio is definitely worth a visit!

27/03/2025: Years ago the place was good for the quality/price ratio. Tonight I go in and ask if there is a table, only an outdoor table is free the girl tells me, but now we turn on the heater, I accept. She turns on the heater, a noise that seems like it's about to explode and after a few seconds it turns off, I have dinner outside with 15°C. I order half a white wine, a seafood salad and paccheri alla trabaccolara. The seafood salad is huge and inedible, the paccheri are worse than the salad and I finish them quickly because the cold is causing me congestion. The only paper napkin they gave me is worn out and I use my own handkerchiefs. I go to pay and the girl tells me... so she took seafood salad, paccheri, half a wine, water and coffee.... it's €41. I pay happy to have escaped a nightmare.... €41 to suffer

06/01/2025: Everything was excellent, it felt like being with family, the food was excellent and above all the quantities were generous, excellent quality for the price! Well done, highly recommended

12/11/2024: I ate well and the prices are good, the portions are also generous. Spaghetti with seafood 13 euros, fried calamari and prawns 12 euros. A pleasant discovery.

28/02/2025: È la seconda volta che vengo in questo.locale e anche questa sera abbiamo mangiato un'ottima pizza, sottile e croccante proprio come piace a me, ed un'altrettanto ottima birra alla spina. Buoni anche i dolci, crema catalana e mille foglie alla crema con gocce di cioccolato. Prezzi buoni La prossima volta proveremo il pesce che da quanto abbiamo potuto vedere intorno deve essere molto buono.

21/03/2025: Very good cappuccino and dessert, the thing that really bothered me was having to pay 3 euros for the cappuccino after he forgot about it and we waited standing at the counter, without asking if we wanted table service. Once we had done it, we sat down and brought our own coffee, and once we had finished it, again alone, we brought it back to the counter, not to save the coin but because there was no one to serve the table!!!. My girlfriend is German and perhaps she mistook us for foreigners, but I have lived in Florence since 2004.. hearing them say "eh it costs 3 euros because you sat down" in a somewhat cold way, no way.. avoidable, come on.

21/03/2025: We have been in Florence for a week and we have had breakfast here every day. Very good coffee and very pleasant service. Advisable.

23/04/2025: I have been able to try this restaurant twice and it has never disappointed. The second time we were a large group and what can I say we left with full bellies. Their strong point for me is the fried shrimp, divine not to mention the risotto that is creamed to perfection. The thousand leaf cake they had prepared for the birthday boy was also very good. Definitely recommended.

22/04/2025: I was there for Easter, excellent and plentiful food, beautiful restaurant and excellent and fast service. Congratulations I will definitely be back.

22/04/2025: Nice and quaint place but obviously it's better to go there in the evening. With an empty room, 10 minutes for a coffee because they had to talk about the electrical panel. Wrong restaurant and bartender gone. Driiiiin! Wakes up!

20/04/2025: The cocktails are really inexpensive (€5) and are good! The choice is a little limited but the essentials are offered :)

08/04/2025: Discovered by chance and luckily we found a place. The restaurant was full but despite everything the service was quite fast, good dishes and excellent fish. We recommend it for those who come to Cecina on a beautiful day at the seaside

04/04/2025: Excellent location on the sea, the food is very good and the people are kind, the only flaw is the slightly uncomfortable chairs. Excellent value for money. Advised. Ate from them again, the chairs outside were also comfortable. All very well. We returned to them again in 2024, wonderful frying and super appetizer. Well done, we returned in 2025, excellent gnocchi with clams and bottarga, fried calamari and prawns, shame about the closed prawns and therefore full of shit. Really almost good.

25/02/2025: In this little restaurant we found by chance we received a friendly welcome on a rainy day. It was already very late and elsewhere it would have been impossible to eat something hot, we were ready to settle for anything, but in the end it turned out to be a pretty good lunch. Tordelli lucchesi with ragù, pork loin with roast potatoes, dessert and coffee. Simple and familiar place, friendly owners, you immediately feel at home.

12/04/2025: Everything fantastic. The service, the amuse-bouche, the wine and the wonderful dishes. I recommend the gnocchi with gorgonzola and cod, I would eat 3 more dishes! The 'nduja and burrata pizza was perfect, the dough was light and tasty. Thank you for your welcome and patience with my dad and his partner who didn't speak Italian! To return as soon as possible!!

31/03/2025: Ordered a quattro formaggi, very tasteless, there was no gorgonzola anywhere on the pizza, only mozzarella.. the bread was good, however. But no place I will go back to for this pizza.

12/04/2025: Would highly recommend for a local, friendly dinner spot. Every dish was excellent (especially the tiramisu). Staff were attentive and friendly. A lovely authentic feel as well.

12/04/2025: Typical local trattoria off the beaten track. We ended up here as we wanted to get away from the crowds in central Florence. The venue is ok, decent decor and ok room size. The issue is the timing of the food, we waited 30 mns for starters and an hour for mains. The food is just above average for Florence. Given the price point I would say there are better options around.

06/02/2025: Our experience at Nirvana was very positive. The food is delicious and the owner Janavi was very kind to us. Before leaving the restaurant, mother Silvana came out of the kitchen and gave us some excellent advice on how to prepare seitan at home. In short, we felt like family. Thank you. Ps: the pinsa is worth trying.

25/03/2025: A really great find for our last night here. Giovanni is always greeting his guests with a smile and even did a little something to make our honeymoon celebration that much better. It’s those little things, on top of the excellent pizza, that make this place a favorite of ours. The ingredients are fresh and the dough is chewy but not heavy. Definitely will be coming back on our next trip to Florence and you should to

28/01/2025: Absolute insider tip, we had an unforgettable, beautiful evening. The food is simply delicious. There are only a few dishes but mom prepares them so well that we couldn't help but be amazed. We will 100% come back if we are in the area again. It's worth making a reservation as there aren't many tables and they fill up very quickly.

27/12/2024: Really very good steak, nice atmosphere, but with very annoying music (which was not changed or lowered upon request), high meat prices, but clearly displayed so it is up to the customer's choice. Let's say that in my opinion there is a bit to improve on the service considering that we spent €60/person

Good service and comfortable environment....overall positive rating for a busy dinner with many guests.
