02/11/2025: Best coffee EVER!!!!! The cream on top was delicious and the espresso was amazing. The place is a small family bar with a couple of tables upstairs. Had to go back for seconds in Saturday but unfortunately it was closed. It was a traditional place so i get it but surprisingly they spoke good english. Definitely will be our first stop when we come back to Florence.

09/12/2025: I often go here for breakfast. The coffee and pastries are good, the atmosphere is welcoming and pleasant, and everyone is always very kind.

27/11/2025: A place of the heart. A splendid neighborhood trattoria. The food is reasonably good, but it's the unique friendliness that emanates from the walls of the true Livorno of yesteryear!!! @

15/12/2025: Not a positive experience The service was poor, I'd say, as we were abandoned by the person who took our order. Having ordered an appetizer for one person and two first courses, they should have brought the appetizer first and then the two first courses together. For the first course, I had to wait 35 minutes and eat it alone. Furthermore, it wasn't good because it was sour. Not to mention the food was too expensive for a fishmonger's restaurant with no other options at a lower price. The sommelier who claims to be the waiter didn't appear to be one. He offered us a wine for €45.00, which on the market costs €25.00. I understand the markup, but I'd say it's a bit excessive. It's a shame, because since they started out as a fishmonger, the products are good, and I often buy their products. But they definitely need to improve the service. And the cuisine.

14/12/2025: We enjoyed two wonderful afternoon meals in June of 2025 at Il Porto, Our waiter, Stefanino was very gracious. My wife and I said, “surprise us” so Stefanino brought a live lobster to our table, we said yes, and it was prepared beautifully with saffron and served on a bed of linguini with olive oil, fresh garlic and a hint of crushed red pepper. Literally it melted in the mouth.

12/12/2025: My palate is difficult to satisfy, my stomach is almost impossible to fill... BUT: STRABUONO DID IT! A sandwich that has everything it needs to have (excellent bread, excellent ingredients, excellent combination of flavors, just the right temperature, and so on...) Not easy to reach by car, but take a walk, we're a nation of lazy pains. We live in a country where every corner is a museum. Enjoy it, and then flash a sandwich of Strabuono. Bye!

08/12/2025: We stopped in for a quick sandwich for lunch. Excellent sandwiches, well-filled, and plenty of choice. The bread itself was also good. We'll be back.

07/11/2025: It was romantic to have a coffee on the terrace of this café, overlooking the greenery and a garden below where other tables were enjoying cocktails. It was a beautiful, warm day, even though it was November 2nd.

17/10/2025: Villa Sermolli has incredible charm. Built on a hillside, it features numerous stairs and corners inside, making it a real adventure to get from point A to point B. Stunning views, stunning ceiling paintings, an old cooking area with an open fireplace, an old bread oven... to name just a few highlights. The breakfast was delicious, and when the temperature permits, there's a lovely garden for breakfast outdoors. Our room was very spacious, and the bathroom was also larger than average. Everyone was very nice, and we received a very warm welcome. Thank you for the wonderful time we were able to spend here.

21/10/2025: A historic restaurant in Livorno's industrial area. Originally, it catered to local workers and dockworkers. The prices are very reasonable for the excellent quality. The staff is highly trained and friendly, and the service is impeccable.

17/10/2025: Total chaos at lunchtime, waiters rushing around like mad. Long lines to get in, everyone crammed together, dishes arriving out of order. I understand the seaside town, the business lunch, and the joviality, but it's truly out of control. I'm sorry, but I won't be back.

11/11/2025: We had the carbonara, turkey, potatoes, and then tiramisu for dessert. Everything tasted delicious! Staff were pleasant and accommodating. The place had a cozy, homey ambiance. Prices were reasonable. Overall, great value for money. We came in at around 8:30pm with no reservation and were seated immediately. We would eat here again and we would recommend this place to others.

12/09/2025: A wonderful place, with a very large area to enjoy, two swimming pools for children and adults. The rooms are fully equipped with everything you need. There's a delicious restaurant on site serving regional delicacies at reasonable prices. The front desk staff is very friendly, best regards!
