11/11/2025: I recently visited a charming bakery in Florence that left a lasting impression on me. The quality of their coffee is top-notch, perfectly brewed and rich in flavor. ! The pastries were very delicious! The croissants are simply amazing—flaky on the outside and buttery soft on the inside. Each bite is a delight, making them a must-try for anyone visiting. Their atmosphere and friendly staff add to the experience, creating a perfect spot to enjoy a morning treat. Highly recommend!

09/11/2025: Great place for a quick breakfast, counter service, friendly welcome, and delicious Nutella croissants. Around 7 euros for two caffelattes and two Nutella croissants, I highly recommend it!

07/12/2025: Very nice atmosphere, but as far as customer service goes, it's lacking. Our table was next to the meat corner. My seat was 60 cm from the butcher's cutting board, so I spent the evening with the sharp sounds of the cleaver behind my head. As soon as we arrived, they asked if we'd like a welcome drink. Then for 25 minutes, no one came by. It was impossible to access the menu with the QR code because Wind didn't have reception, and the Wi-Fi password wasn't listed. The tartare was good, but the pistachio pesto was very salty, industrial in my opinion. The lard and burrata crostini were oven-warmed, so they were a bit heavy. We had to ask for bread. The meat was definitely good, but there's better out there. Last but not least, my husband goes to pay, pays in cash, and only once home does he realize it's not a receipt. Definitely not.

10/10/2025: Pizza delivered...delicious and super topped, arrived still burning as if freshly baked...spectacular cooking, kind and polite service, very punctual delivery...what can I say.....well done guys!!!!

23/10/2025: We were in Florence, Italy and looking for a nice place to eat and relax. Osteria was just a block away from where we were staying. You would never know from the front or just walking in that there was a lovely garden in the backyard. It has both covered and outside seating, as well as inside up front. The food and service were top notch. While waiting for our main course we indulged in crusted bread, with a Delicious Olive Oil. The ravioli stuffed with parmesan cheese. was delicious, and the steak with rosemary and garlic with roasted potatoes hit my spot. We enjoyed a bottle of Chianti and were too stuffed for desert. Great find, if you're in Florence, and looking for a nice romantic place to eat.

11/11/2025: I hate being someone that complains, but this really wasn’t a good experience. It was a struggle to even be acknowledged walking into the door, and then experienced lack luster service at the table. I eventually just walked in and ordered a sandwich to go, and paid. And then waited 15 minutes while I smelt it burning in the toaster oven. I’m pretty sure the girl that took my order put it in, and then got off her shift and left. Eventually I walked back up to the counter and was able grab someone’s attention who clearly was embarrassed that I had been forgotten. He handed me my burnt sandwich in a napkin, and I left and immediately just tossed it. Thankfully there’s a kebab spot about a 5 min walk around corner with a super sweet employee that made me something good to eat. *updated to add that while the owner implied that I left a bad review on the wrong restaurant, I did not. The place I ate a kebab at is called Istanbul Kebab & pizzeria, and it’s a 3 min walk from Bar Giulia.

06/11/2025: A place to linger, right by the sea; note that it's November and you can sit outside; extremely friendly staff; super delicious cornetti with pistachio cream; a cute three-legged tomcat kept us company – what more could life offer?

15/11/2025: I had the pleasure of participating in a day organized with a truly well-planned program: chestnut picking in the woods followed by lunch. The picking was a lot of fun, aided by a splendid sunny day; the three of us were so good at picking about 15 kg of chestnuts. The lunch that followed was even better. In a beautiful restaurant, we enjoyed an excellent appetizer, two exquisite first courses, and a truly delicious second course. Cost: I won't tell you, but it was truly excellent! Recommended and definitely worth repeating!

06/11/2025: Excellent dough! Then there's plenty to choose from for vegan friends, too. I sometimes choose vegan, partly because I have lactose issues and partly to keep my vegetarian friends company, who until now could only get the marinara. The problem is the vastness of the menu 🤪 Anyway, tonight I had the vegan pioppini pizza. I honestly didn't expect it to be as smooth as the other pizzas, delicious! Plus, my friend was able to get dessert, which has never happened before. We'll be back, and next time I'll be able to skip the lactose pill 👍👍👍 Cute and comfortable atmosphere. Friendly and prompt service.

It was a rainy Monday, and despite the inclement weather and the unusual day, the owner decided to keep the restaurant open just for us thanks to our reservation. This thoughtful gesture made us feel immediately welcomed and pampered. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with attention to detail but without losing that natural, comfortable feel. The owner was extremely kind and knowledgeable: he guided us through our wine selection with passion and professionalism, making the evening even more enjoyable. A place where you truly feel like a guest, not just a customer. Highly recommended, especially for those seeking an authentic, attentive experience.
