18/05/2025: Very good food. Impeccable service from the staff. However, there is a lady at the entrance who could be more careful when dealing with the public. Gastronomy is sacred, but as soon as we arrived we felt uncomfortable. Anyway, we tried the food and it was perfect. Just this small detail, which can make a customer not want to return because they don't feel welcome.

15/05/2025: Great restaurant! A very different place in the basement and very cool. Both the pasta dishes and the pizzas are very well prepared and well served. The service is excellent. The dessert we ordered was delicious. We had dinner at the same restaurant twice because we liked it so much. I highly recommend it!!!

02/06/2025: Siamo stati qui con amici, il locale è carino, ben organizzato. Il servizio è stato preciso e veloce. Abbiamo preso quegli antipasti e pizza. La terrina prima è molto buona, impasti pizza leggeri. Per me unico problema che fondamentalmente è solo basato su impasti e quindi diventa un po’ troppo pesante e magari risulta difficile apprezzare a pieno la pizza. Sicuramente tornerò per provare la pizza classica, la contemporanea buona ma perdi il senso stesso della pizza.

10/06/2025: Wir haben marinierten Baccala und Salat als Vorspeise gegessen und dann eine wunderbare Pizza als Hauptgang. Auf Anfrage gab es auch eine fantastische glutenfreie Focaccia mit Mozzarella und Tomaten, was uns sehr gefreut hat. Das Servicepersonal ist sehr zuvorkommenden und kompetent und die Weinauswahl ist groß. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

27/05/2025: Locale del centro; saletta al pian terreno ed una al piano superiore. Piccolo dehor. Cucina essenzialmente del territorio. Qualità molto molto elevata. Ampia cantina. Personale cortese e molto disponibile. Servizio veloce. Di particolare rilievo i pici cacio e pepe, le carni e l’insalata di funghi grazie anche alla qualità dell’olio abbinato in tavola. Prezzi decisamente onesti. Lo consiglio vivamente.

19/05/2025: There are two of us with a reservation made a week in advance, they make us sit in the room on the 1st floor and we find an unlivable situation: two very large tables of young people smoking iqos (there are no windows) and singing ruin our dinner. The staff does not change our table despite numerous requests. Big shame because the food was good, I recommend asking for the table on the ground floor.

24/05/2025: Pizza deliziosa, personale sorridente e disponibile, il servizio è stato rapido nonostante fosse sabato e il locale fosse pieno. Bel locale. Bravi!!!

03/06/2025: If you have to choose only one restaurant around here to eat from choose Sugo!!! We stayed in Livorno for a month in this Venice district and found Sugo to be the most precious gem of a place. The food is fresh, unpretentious and amazing in taste. Everyone is friendly like a neighborhood vibe. A little sad when we have to say goodbye to Livorno!

19/05/2025: Judgment nì... Nothing special, I expected much more since it had been recommended to me by Livorno natives and I had read very positive reviews. We ordered a mixed fish appetizer, good but rather common. Penne with scampi were good, fish balls were very good. Then we ordered the octopus cacciuccato which never arrived... They had got confused and it was no longer available. So we settled for tuna tartare and prawns in a stew, which in my opinion were defrosted. The setting was nice but extremely small and the service was too poor. The owners were nice but the service was slow, especially in clearing the table of finished dishes. In short, good but nothing special. Too bad, maybe the octopus would have given it one more star, who knows...

29/05/2025: Nice small restaurant with friendly and knowledgeable waiter. I had very tasty seafood pasta and a delicious local cake made with brioche, vermuth and chocolate (torta de pilota?). Absolutely recommendable place.

23/05/2025: the food is some of the best I’ve had in Florence. The area is beautiful, the house wine is excellent, but most of all the staff & the service are unmatched. Alban is the sweetest waiter we’ve ever had! I come to the restaurant at least once a week for the papardelle and the cheesecake. Definitely recommend!

Both the rooms and other areas are clean and tidy. The respect for traditions stands out with great clarity, accompanied by a continuous search for renewal. Fantastic and convenient location close to all amenities. Highly recommended We will definitely be back

21/05/2025: Scegliamo sempre volentieri il Fornello, in coppia o per pranzi di famiglia sentendoci a casa, accolti da una cordialità autentica. Questa volta abbiamo assaporato asparagi freschi e frutti di mare in abbinamento a gnocchi di giusta consistenza e sapidità. Molto equilibrio nei sapori garantisce piacevolezza in ogni assaggio. 09/06/2025: The restaurant impresses with its stylish and cozy ambiance – you immediately feel like you're in a real Italian restaurant. The excellent selection of alcoholic beverages, including expert advice, was particularly impressive. The truffle pasta was aromatic, well-seasoned, and with a generous amount of truffle. The crowning glory was the strawberry panna cotta – creamy and fresh. The service was always polite, but seemed a bit overwhelmed despite the relatively small number of guests. Overall, a highly recommended restaurant that I would definitely recommend to friends – especially because of the authentic atmosphere and the excellent cuisine.
