Antico Moro Trattoria has been run by the same family for generations, a treasure trove of memories from its past, as well as dedications and thanks from artists who have passed through the restaurant over the years (Dario Fo, Rudolf Nurayev, and many others). The cuisine is personally overseen by the owner and offers traditional dishes (the fabulous caciucco!) with a personal touch (the plums cooked in wine and drowned in vanilla ice cream are delicious!). Guests are greeted with kindness, warmth, and expert advice. Thanks to the owners: their passion is palpable!

Perfect evening. The girls in the dining room were attentive and thoughtful. The seafood appetizer was unmissable (there was everything and everything was textbook). The first course was like it used to be, and the semifreddo was superb. Oh well.

A historic trattoria on a side street in central Livorno. Suitable for those who appreciate good food, quality ingredients, and excellent cuisine. Less suitable for food bloggers seeking a more formal setting: the immediate, family-like atmosphere defines the place. The caciucco (fish stew) and the fish (raw and fried) in general are top-notch.

An experience that instantly took me back in time, to when my grandmother made cacciucco.
Authentic flavors, traditional dishes, artful cooking of fish, mollusks, and crustaceans, all incredibly fresh. Affordable prices.
