08/11/2025: Very good service and excellent food

12/10/2025: At 1:55 p.m., my wife and I went to lunch. We were served by a waiter with a sour face and rudely told us to sit at any table on the terrace. After a while, he approached us, visibly angry, and told us we could only order pasta, which we accepted. We told him we wanted a wine, and he said he didn't have any. We asked for another wine, and he said he didn't have that one either. When he told us he didn't have any for the third wine, I asked him if he had any, and he said he only had house wine. We clearly saw that there were bottles of wine on the bar and that it was all because he didn't feel like working... In the end, we left without eating, as we told him he was going to laugh at someone else, that he didn't feel like working, and that he was rude. We could see that he was happy to have achieved his goal.

16/09/2025: So rude and arrogant. They sell Aperol but serve cheap imitations. Absolutely no-go! Not recommended at all.

26/10/2025: The servers are rude, they wouldn't let us sit down even when the restaurant was empty, just because there were 5 of us and we had 2 coffees, the kids didn't drink coffee, the toilet was smelly and dirty, and the coffee was for tourists who don't want to come back.

20/10/2025: The advertised porchetta on the outside turns out to be a mini sandwich from the day before with a bit of porchetta inside that's all fat and pepper. It's all prepared by hand and costs €6.50. A small glass of red wine from the Bag, quite tart, costs €3. To top it off, there's no receipt. It's fine to be a tourist magnet, in fact it wouldn't be, but local customers are guaranteed not to return.

16/09/2025: We arrived in San Casciano dei Bagni around 2:00 PM and, before continuing our visit, we stopped at this place. Some friends of ours had arrived shortly before and had ordered platters of cured meats and cheeses with wine: decent quality, but the bill was already disproportionate (€30 per person for four people, with two small platters and three-quarters of wine). Knowing those prices, we chose the simplest option: a porchetta sandwich. Never was a worse choice. The bread was hard, the porchetta was extremely salty, poorly cut, and with an aftertaste that left serious doubts about its freshness. The wine, however, tasted like water diluted with cardboard: undrinkable. In the end, for 15 sandwiches and 3 liters of wine, we found ourselves spending €20 each. Unacceptable. I've traveled to many villages in Italy and have rarely come across such a mockery. It's not just the high prices (which are reasonable in a tourist town), but the terrible quality of the food and the total lack of respect for the customer. My only regret is that I didn't even have the courage to take photos. An experience to forget. I absolutely do not recommend this place: a real scam for visitors.

17/09/2025: First, we were seated at a dirty table. The portions are very small—no adult will be able to fill them up—and yet they cost almost twice as much as other restaurants nearby. Well, it's our own fault for not reading the reviews first.

03/09/2025: The bathroom was managed without attention or respect for the customer. Management was confused and didn't keep the promises made when the deed was signed. The customer was not followed up or notified of any changes. Completely negative.

12/07/2025: Negative. You can't serve pre-cooked linguine...not mixed with the verace...tasteless.

05/11/2025: The bar's location is in front of the tower with a beautiful view, perfect for seeing everything! It's a shame, however, that the management is so lacking in commitment. Being in a tourist area, I found the outdoor seating area very narrow and dirty. The prices are very high and the quality rather low. As a working woman in the restaurant industry, €13.50 for a poorly made drink seems very excessive to me. All this was accompanied by two low-quality, soft snacks. The service also leaves something to be desired. We're sorry to have had such a negative experience at this place.

24/10/2025: Super expensive. Prices are above average. In Florence, at the best places, an Aperol costs 8 euros; here, it's 13 euros, and a glass of juice costs 5 euros. Well, the best thing is to sit and enjoy the view.

25/09/2025: Be warned, don't go here! We were looking for a restaurant and it was raining, so we quickly sat down (no one was there yet). I ordered a Coke Zero and my friend a Sprite. We got a children's Coke still and tonic water. The man immediately asked if we wanted fish and pasta, but I immediately asked for the menu. We got one, and while my friend was looking at it, I started reading the reviews. After that, we immediately asked for the bill and said we only wanted drinks. The man yelled at us that it wasn't a bar, but a restaurant. So we got up, went inside, and asked if we could pay. The man behind the bar also angrily said that it wasn't a bar, but a restaurant. We just paid €5 for drinks. Run away!

19/09/2025: No, no, no. Don't go. A total tourist trap. He serves whatever he wants. There's only fish (seems to be a scam: luring tourists with a colorful board with attractive prices and then ripping them off. First, he gave us two glasses of white wine and two starter plates without asking. Only reluctantly did he show us the menu. We ordered a mixed starter, ravioli, and swordfish. When he brought us pasta, which we definitely hadn't ordered, and I objected, he shouted at me. An Italian woman came to my aid. I paid for the starter, the water, and a glass of wine, and left. The Italian couple who helped me did too, by the way.

28/08/2024: Assolutamente imbarazzante.. forse dir poco! Vendita solo a porzioni (prezzi altamente esagerati) 50€ per 1 porzione e mezzo di pasta d’asporto (con un pomodoro che scioglierebbe anche gli scogli.. da quanto aspro e acido) , due vaschettine piccole di polpo e patate e due acque (le patate erano crude!!). 50€ di asporto freddo e pessimo!! personale al servizio clienti, completamente strafottente e non di aiuto. Nel complesso, uno dei peggior posti dove potersi fermare a Follonica per poter mangiare. Non lo consiglio assolutamente, anzi, se lo vedete, cambiate strada!

14/10/2025: The structure is squalid after 2 hours waiting for the heating technician who didn't show up I packed my bags and left... dirty room, kitchen and bathroom worse, third world fixtures, staff not up to par... I wouldn't go back even for free... better to sleep on the street

01/10/2025: It seems impossible to me to see reviews like this. I'm 10 and I've been going to the open air. The staff is very polite and helpful. I'm just sorry that I won't be able to go again this year due to health problems, but I hope to recover to go there next year.

19/05/2025: We have been to this campsite for two consecutive years, in July 2022 and 2023, and we plan to return again this year. For those who love tranquility and outdoor life, this campsite is ideal. Very affordable prices. Pitches well delimited with high hedges for perfect privacy and well maintained in terms of cleanliness. There is a freezer available to guests where you can leave ice for the thermal bags. Extremely courteous staff, they were able to meet our every need with kindness and patience. We also positively experienced the breakfasts and dinners of the Elbar, present inside the campsite. We are ready to return!!! PS: I apologize for the previous review, it was actually a campsite in Campiglia Marittima!

01/11/2025: It's excellent: fresh, high-quality pastries, delicious coffee, and a pleasant vintage atmosphere perfect for breakfast. Prices are high and the service is efficient, though not particularly friendly. There are a few tables inside and a small terrace. They specialize in biscuits: many varieties are available.

13/11/2025: Let's start by saying that it shouldn't be compared to traditional restaurants. It does its job well: providing fast food at a price compatible with the highway tolls that restaurants charge. I had good baked pasta and excellent chicken strips. The staff was friendly, and among highway restaurants, it deserves a high rating.

28/10/2025: NEVER EAT HERE. Aside from the fact that a first course, second course, and a bottle of water with a side dish cost €27, the food is very poor, and the service is practically nonexistent.

27/08/2025: We ate pizza with a soggy dough and an inedible edge, the table setting featured chipped glasses, the service was poor and arrogant, the dessert at 8 euros was a rip-off and the cover charge at 3 euros per person was the same (a sheet of paper with advertising and a glass). In short, we spent a lot and ate badly. I'm sorry for the image we give to foreigners with this service, these are absolutely not prices for Italians.

12/08/2025: This evening we had slow service even though everyone had eaten. The food arrived after 40 minutes and was cold. We took it back, reheated it, and returned it 10 minutes later, cold again. We left the food on the table and paid for what we consumed. Mistakes can only happen to those who work, but not twice in a row after an hour of waiting. €25 for two eggplants and two potatoes. A bad evening.
