01/07/2025: Unfriendly staff A menu was displayed for €6.90 (Pizza or sandwich + drink + fruit salad + coffee) The girl tried in every way to offer me something else and was visibly annoyed and rude because I insisted wanting that menu. The sandwich was not there (?) so only the pizza, the fruit salad was only watermelon probably cut for days in the fridge because it was sour. Every time I asked (first the fruit salad then the coffee) she giggled with her colleague. I used to go to this place when the previous staff was there NEVER AGAIN....

15/06/2025: I have been to this restaurant and unfortunately I have to say that it was a terrible experience. I ordered a simple plate of roast beef, but it didn't look good at first sight: the color was dull and the smell was unappealing. Unfortunately, the taste confirmed my initial impressions. The most serious problem, however, came later: I had lunch at 1 pm and since then I have been very sick. I can't say for sure that it is the fault of the food served here, but it is the only meal I have eaten and it ruined my day. I will not return and I honestly feel like I should not recommend it to anyone who cares about the quality and safety of what they eat.

09/09/2025: A nice little cocktail on the terrace, which was fine for our activity. They gave us chips and peanuts, but I found the chips tasted bad. I don't know about the peanuts, I didn't try them. The Aperol was good.

14/08/2025: Charges you "by mistake" for extra drinks. Adds 10% to the bill (in addition to the cover charge, of course) for service without warning. I understand why he rushes at you with the credit card machine and doesn't give you time to reread the bill. Very expensive for what it is! In short, a great tourist trap in a good location.

15/08/2025: when we first arrived they said the parking was 10 euro. we payed ten euros and when we were walking out of the parking lot they tried to make us pay AGAIN. but we didnt because it was obvious they were trying to scam us. when we got sat down the waiter didnt even try to be kind at all and told us we cant order very different plates because it was a holiday, but when we looked around the waiters were bringing very different dishes to everyone else (probably because we were tourists and the others were locals). Dishes were terrible , we got preheated pasta with canned sauce (we recognised it) and it was literally cold. We didnt even wait for the next dish because it was so bad. Terrible food and terrible customer service

07/11/2025: After a wonderful walk in the village of San Giminiano with friends, we had the unfortunate idea of ​​sitting down to eat 3 sandwiches, a cold dish, 3 soft drinks, 2 coffees, 1 ginseng and 1 water for the shameful sum of 67, and I repeat 67 euros. Extremely high prices and extremely rude staff. In fact, when we tried to point out the extremely high price, they almost got offended, are we kidding? They say there is a crisis in the venues, but in my humble opinion, after seeing this, I am not surprised. Tourists should always be a resource and not chickens to be plucked. Neither I nor my friends will set foot in this place again, and we will certainly never speak well of it. Absolutely not recommended to everyone, shameful!!!!!!!!

04/11/2025: The mango gelato was outstanding. I feel bad that they get such terrible reviews when I don't think the gelateria is affiliated with the bar. I think their two independent businesses. I can't speak for the bar, but I loved the gelateria.

26/04/2025: Terrible experience from the start. The waitress, and I presume the owner, was extremely rude. One of us customers had an ice cream we needed from a nearby ice cream shop, but we asked to sit there and order anyway. The girl with the ice cream was allowed to do so. However, when our order was brought, the waitress rudely said she couldn't finish her ice cream there, concluding with a rude "do as you please." I should point out that the customer with the ice cream had finished her order (paying an exorbitant price) and that the place doesn't make ice cream! The lady isn't suited to working with the public. In fact, when I pointed out that she had been very rude for no reason, she verbally attacked me. I told her there was no need to raise her voice and said "goodbye." She replied, telling me not to come back. She kicked me out. It was intolerable!

02/11/2025: We went for lunch today, there were six of us and a five-year-old. I give one star because it's the best. It was an embarrassing experience. We sat down and ordered four appetizers, a penne pasta for the child, and six first courses. 45 minutes for a platter for four and 50 minutes for the child's pasta. A small platter for four people, and they forgot the cheeses. After another 40 minutes, the first courses hadn't arrived, and I went to report it. I was treated rudely by the owner, who raised her voice in front of everyone, embarrassing me. In short, she was rude. A second later, the pici arrived, which were barely edible and cold. We went to the cashier, paid, and spent €194. As we leave, we complain among ourselves, and the cook makes a "quaquaqua" noise while sneering. After the crap he'd served, he should have put down his apron and moved on to other jobs, just like the owners, who weren't able to handle the situation. Please, you guys, avoid it while you're still on time.

19/10/2025: We had a good meal; it wasn't exceptional, but it was perfectly acceptable. There were four of us and we had two pizzas, a Cesar salad, and ravioli. The pizzas were different from what we were used to; instead of the standard flat ones or with a light crust, they were pizza in Teglia Alta, or pan pizza, which isn't uncommon in this region and gives it a more local character. We had four formaggi and a Margarita, which were delicious! The ravioli was fresh with a delicious cheese filling and a topping of a kind of ragu. The Cesar salad was also excellent. The service was friendly; they did their best to speak English, and we managed to get by. The outdoor terrace was nice, but the restaurant was a bit dated, with a dirty, too-small men's restroom.

12/10/2025: As most of the reviews say, the staff is friendly at first glance until you read the bill and see the average quality of the pastries, which are nevertheless very expensive. €7 for a cannolo that isn't filled, a large cappuccino automatically charged instead of a classic, etc. It's a shame. It's a shame that a charming establishment like this is used for this purpose...

22/03/2025: Si può avere/gestire un posto molto bello, capiente, nel cuore di una città importante e rinomata, MA se la qualità di prodotti, i costi e soprattutto il servizio offerto non sono all'altezza si va poco lontani..... Purtroppo non sono solita leggere le recensioni dei bar (al contrario delle recensioni su ristoranti e hotel). In genere scelgo guidata dall'istinto alla ricerca di un buon caffè che renda la mia vacanza o il mio soggiorno di lavoro ancora più gradevole. Questa esperienza mi insegna a farlo! Non lo consiglio. Passate oltre.

19/10/2025: Terrible experience, never happened before, we were 3 adults and 1 child, we sat outside and ordered focaccia for 3 people (1 adult didn't want to eat) the rudest waitress I've ever met, she started saying that it couldn't be done and that everyone had to order... so a coffee was added... and you could see that she didn't like it... then when we ordered 2 bottles of water for drinks she started again with the story that everyone had to order... only 2 bottles weren't okay... at which point we got impatient and left, with that "nice" girl who told us..."I need the tables anyway"...! Compré 2 helados, el precio de la etiqueta es 3. 5 euros pero me cobran 14 euros, la mejor parte se da 50 euros y me devuelven 30 euros. Estafar a un hombre del sur de Asia sólo puede hacer un poco de dinero por deshonra, pero nada más. Sólo piensa que un patético tipo sin educación vino aquí en Florencia que engaña dinero de turistas en lugar de su propio país, realmente vergonzoso. KNN

10/10/2025: absolute scam, AVOID at all costs - I never normally rate things badly but this place was terrible!! I recommended to my family that we avoid it based on the reviews but my dad decided to try anyway. He asked repeatedly in both English and Italian for a small size gelato but they ignored him and gave him the largest possible size! then demanded he pay TWELVE EURO €12!!! for the gelato. The ice cream was very average and not even remotely worth that much money. Avoid, total tourist trap

09/10/2025: ATTENTION ATTENTION! A complete tourist trap!! Without shame, he shoves about a kilo of disgusting ice cream into my over-the-top giant cone and into my companion's cup. Unsuspectingly, we go to the cashier to pay, and suddenly it displays 30 euros. 04/06/2025: Si bien la vista del Duomo desde este lugar es innegablemente impresionante, nuestra experiencia aquí fue extremadamente decepcionante y se sintió como una estafa completa. Durante nuestras vacaciones, disfrutamos de muchas terrazas alrededor del Duomo, a menudo con buen vino a precios justos. Sin embargo, este lugar en particular, que parece bastante barato y sencillo, nos sorprendió con una factura escandalosamente alta, a pesar de que pedimos la botella de vino más barata del menú. Para empeorar las cosas, el baño estaba en un estado terrible: sucio, sin papel higiénico, y claramente no estaba en mantenimiento. El personal era antipático y desdeñoso, lo que se suma a la impresión negativa general. Esta fue con mucho la peor relación calidad-precio que experimentamos en la zona. Aconsejamos encarecidamente a los demás que eviten este lugar, no importa cuán buena pueda parecer la vista. Hay lugares mucho mejores (y más limpios) con un servicio más honesto a la vuelta de la esquina.

04/06/2025: Deze man geeft altijd aan dat zijn keuken gesloten is. Vervolgens komt hij met 4 kleine puntjes koude en harde pizza aan en laat hij je €48,- afrekenen voor proscecco(!!) van €7,- per fles. Daarbij waren de toiletten ingekleurd met poep van andere klanten. Een echte oplichter. Kies voor een italiaan als u wat wilt drinken rondom de duomo.

And we really, really regret not reading the reviews(( The place is terrible, if you are a tourist, you will be scammed for your money. The dishes are of poor quality (salty, over-fried, burnt) water 0.5 for 3.90€. The bill includes some unknown dishes. The owner, in our presence, revised the bill three times (there were constantly different prices for the dishes). Just terrible. I do not recommend this place to anyone(((
