31/07/2025: A small, typical osteria serving excellent traditional dishes. Everything is good, but the tordelli lucchesi, their specialty, are truly worth trying. Good service, reasonable prices. It has a small parking lot, which is helpful because the street is narrow and there's no parking.

05/11/2025: If the food tasted perfect, one could even overlook certain aspects of the ambiance, but if both the dishes and the dining room are poorly maintained, then something is wrong. Lunch on a Saturday in October (2025). Porcini mushroom tortelloni drowned in cream: the cream completely overpowers the mushroom flavor, leaving no flavor on the palate other than the creaminess of the dairy product. Very unpleasant. We ask if we can have fried porcini mushrooms. They say no because they have to save them for dinner. Honestly, my grandmother used to talk about these food-saving calculations, but she didn't have a restaurant and didn't want to overindulge her grandchildren: here we are in a completely different context. Add to this uninspiring cuisine an old-fashioned ambiance, but old, not ancient: there's a huge difference between old and ancient. Something ancient maintains its charm and style, and is of historical value, with an important age of over 100 years. Something old is simply very old and shabby and neglected. Old paintings crooked on the walls, cobwebs in the corners, old photographs of family ancestors that have no emotional significance for a customer: in fact, those frowning expressions of the ancestors staring at you through the yellowish colors of the film generate a certain uneasiness. The atmosphere is dank, stuffy, heavy, stale, with hints of wet wood. I think I'll opt for other restaurants; even a simple place that doesn't smell of mold and that offers porcini mushrooms without a dropper will do.

19/10/2025: The restaurant is very beautiful and welcoming. ✨ 📍The location is very convenient because it's close to the center and can be easily reached on foot. 🍝 The menu is extensive, but it's not on the menu because it varies. The ingredients are excellent and almost all homemade. 🕒 The wait time is very short, because the dish arrives in just a few minutes. 💰The quality/price ratio is excellent. Unfortunately, we didn't stay at the hotel 🏨 😢.

16/09/2025: Let's say it's not bad, but I definitely won't be returning. I ask about the appetizer of the day to see what it consists of, and the waitress replies, "It depends on what's available that morning." So I reply, "What did you find this morning?" But I never received an answer. She replies, "It depends" again... it's not entirely her fault, but at least let her know... oh well, this appetizer arrives with just four measly little pieces of assorted food. It's not bad, for goodness' sake, but it's a tiny bit on a huge plate that looks like a slate tile... spectacular, but lacking substance. Let's get to the first course: shrimp risotto with a hint of citrus, etc., etc. The risotto arrives. It looks like plain rice with cherry tomatoes, a hint of citrus, but no shrimp... not even a hint. I ask for a menu because maybe I misread it. The girl comes over with the menu in her hand, already open to the first course page, and asks me "what's wrong?" And I didn't want to check what I ordered. I must have made a mistake... oh, no, shrimp risotto, but there aren't any, and the waitress says, "The shrimp are in the sauce." Yes, but not on the plate... they must have been left in the kitchen. What can I say, and she repeats it several times. If it's a cartoon made with shells, say so, but don't write shrimp... basically, she puts her hands in front of me, takes the plate while I was talking, and says, "Shall I take it away? YES THANKS." But she made it all herself. A silly, overcooked risotto without shrimp... and it's expensive, I really won't eat it. However, she was upset and didn't serve our table again. I feel sorry for her, but the answers she gave and her behavior are also not good. Train the waitresses better so they know what they're serving and never put their hands in front of anyone unless asked. The fried food was good, nothing to complain about, but the service... let's forget it. I felt like I was being pushed out into the street with people watching. I think they made a bad impression. Maybe they'll say two plus two makes no difference, but I really felt accused... There are so many restaurants where everyone is kind, they don't talk back to customers, and the food is better...

16/10/2025: Delicious food, but when we asked for the bill, they had left the menu on the table, and the prices on the ticket didn't match the menu. I was charged incorrectly for everything I ordered. I complained and was charged €6 more. Mistake? Coincidence? Since I was a tourist.

12/04/2025: It's a shame that the bar isn't exactly welcoming, at least from the outside it doesn't make you want to enter. It would be time to clean up the outside a bit, full ashtrays and there was no one there, unwatchable windows. The shops are all ok.

05/11/2025: Beautiful view! Enchanting place. The wooden outdoor tables add a rustic touch and, on sunny days, a sense of well-being, directly overlooking the vast Chianti hills. The menu isn't very varied (it's a wine bar, not a restaurant). The food is okay. But the highlight is the vast selection of top-quality wines. The extra virgin olive oil is also exceptional and worth a bottle.

04/11/2025: Beautiful location with a splendid view. Otherwise, the food was absolutely not up to par. The burger was completely unsalted, but the worst part was the skewer, completely dried out and probably from the day before, with greasy potatoes. Unacceptable.

16/09/2025: For me, Il Bronco is like home. I've booked and eaten here for months over the past six years. The food quality is always top-notch, even when I order something off the menu. The owners are like family now. Prices are in line with the local area, but the human touch is what sets them apart. ❤️

06/10/2025: The staff is okay, friendly! Some are more so than others—sometimes we had to wait a while for someone to come. But my pizza was amazing, and I don't even want to get started on the view! WOW🤩😍🥰

04/10/2025: A super-beautiful restaurant with a fantastic view – the sunsets here are simply magical! We went there twice because the pizzas were so good. The staff is very friendly and creates a relaxed atmosphere. Since it was quite busy each time, a reservation is worthwhile. A perfect place for a relaxing evening in Capoliveri!
